They diagnosed the problem quickly and were able to get the part in quickly. Installation also went smoothly and they were easy and flexible to work with. Would definitely use their services again. Price seemed fair and reasonable for the work performed.

My washer suddenly failed to do anything except fill with water (worked fine for 1st load, 2nd load of the day failed). Called Broad Ripple Appliance Monday afternoon and they arrived before noon Tuesday. Repairman found a loose wire and fixed the problem within a very short time. Washer has performed perfectly ever since.

One of the automatic starting units on our gas cooktop malfunctioned and kept attempting to start the burner. It was after hours, but the technician we called instructed us how to disconnect it so we could continue to use the stove. He came the next day to examine the problem, then ordered the part and made the repair 2 days later.

The washer broke Saturday morning. I called around 1 p.m. to see if they had anyone who could come out that day and they were able to send someone within a few hours. I was very relieved and appreciative that they were able to respond that day since the washer would not work.

The gentleman can on a Wednesday and diagnosed the problem. He went back to the shop and found the parts he needed and scheduled to come back the following morning to complete the repairs. Both times he came, I had a three hour window and both times, he called me to let me know he was on his way. Both times he was earlier than expected, which worked out perfect for me. Like I said, he called before he came so there would have been no problem if earlier did not work for me. The repairs took less than an hour. He was very nice and explained everything to me.

My GE Front Loading Washer was not draining, and was unusable. After trying all of the troubleshooting techniques in the owners manual, I contacted Broad Ripple Appliance to handle the repair. When I called, I got an answering machine, and my call was returned within an hour. I was given a window of 10am-12pm the next day. Danny arrived at 10:15. He walked me through his repair and explained how I could attempt to unclog the drain on my own in the future by removing an exterior part on my washer and accessing an internal trap. I was charged for the service call and a minimal labor charge for the repair and was given an Angies List discount ($49 + $15 - $10). Danny also fielded a question regarding cleaning my dishwasher of lime scale.

My experience was pretty good. The first technician called to get a price, ordered the part and told me it would be in within 3 days and they would call to schedule the appointment to install. He offered me the option to just pay the service call or pay upfront for the whole repair. Because they are a trusted Angie's List company, I didn't have a problem incurring the entire $250 charge the first day. I didn't hear from them for 5 days so I called the office. The woman who answered the phone told me she would look into it and call me back. When I didn't hear from her the next day I had to call her again. She told me the part was on back order and it would be a week. The part did come in the next week and they came out and promptly installed the part. I'm satisfied but would have appreciated a bit more communication on the status, seeing as how they already had my money for the job. I won't pay them in full before the job is complete next time, but I will hire them again.

Fixed the problem. It related to a clogged drain. Repair man took his time and was very thorough.

Called repair service of machine's brand name maker. Got automated scheduling system and check out fee of $69. Declined. Called Broad Ripple Appliance and talked to a real person. Setup an appointment that worked with my schedule. Check out fee was $49, before an Angie's List coupon. On the day of the appointment, the tech Danny, called and let me know that he was running behind. During the visit he was professional & personable. He gave me the information I needed to make an informed repair vs replace decision. In this case, replacement was the better option.

Called on Tuesday morning and given an 8-10 am window for next day. Repair technician came at 8:45 am, calling first to say he was on his way. Throroughly professional! Refrigerator now works perfectly.

Our experience with them was two-fold. I originally called them to see what it would cost for a repair. The receptionist who answered the phone said that we shouldn?t repair the refrigerator and instead get a new one. She also had me talk to one of the tech guys the next day. He said that it didn?t have to be replaced and that it could be fixed. This showed that they were a good company with integrity. It also made me realize that there was no point in talking to the receptionist. The technician came out on time. He was very clean and very professional. The bill was a bit less than what he said it would be because it took him lesser time than he thought it would. After talking to the technician I was very happy.

On December 23 as our family was rushing around preparing for Christmas we jammed a load of clothing into our washer just before heading out on a final shopping expedition. We returned to find water covering our utility room floor and leaking through the floor into our basement. We mopped up the water and put the laundry on hold until after the holiday weekend. The Monday following Christmas I called Broad Ripple Appliance and technician Steve was out the next day. He discovered a plastic part connecting the water valve with the washer tub had broken loose and was directing water over the top and back of the washer. Broad Ripple Appliance did not have the part in stock so Steve told me he would order it and call to schedule a repair when the part came in. A couple of days later Steve called to tell me the supplier had sent the wrong part and there would be a short delay while the correct part was being ordered and shipped. To cut to the chase, the right part was received and installed to our satisfaction on the Monday after New Year's.

Sometimes they are very good and sometimes they are not. Overall, I?ve had a good experience but I?ve had one issue where the tech they sent wasn?t the greatest.

He found a broken part, but when he replaced it and started the washer again, it still wouldn't spin. He looked further and found the transmission was shot. He said it would cost more to fix it than to replace the washer. He removed the part he'd replaced and only charged me for the service call.

It was a good experience. They came out, fixed it and they kept going. They did a good job.

They did good work. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Their prices are fair. I would go back to them rather than muddling around with other people. I originally only wanted to have one of the toilets replaced, but I got thinking about it and they were all really in need of replacement so I replaced all three. They guy knew what he was doing. He installed new state of the art toilets that don?t use a lot of water, but flush hard. The price included removing the existing toilets, disposing of them, and installing the new toilets. I am not suggesting that the price would be better than having a local hardware store do the work, but it was fair. They were prompt. I give them top grades.

The refrigerator was only 4 years old, and just out of warranty. They said we could either buy a new one, or replace the part. We decided to replace it. He came out the next day to do the work. He was very polite and nice. He did a great job!

They came right out the next day. The repairmen, Frank and Leo, found the problem and repaired it. There was a clog behind the drain. They were very professional, took the time and finished the job. They cleaned up everything. They also asked if I had the Angie's List coupon.

Great - they had a technician available to come out within 2 hours of my first call, on a Monday. Rob was very friendly and professional, diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes and showed me what was wrong. He told me what the cost would be and when to expect the part to come in (within 2 days). They called me Wednesday morning to schedule the repair for Thursday. Rob fixed the icemaker within 15 minutes and left the old part. Price was higher than I expected, but I don't know whether it's above normal. After the repair was done, the icemaker didn't start working within the timeframe Rob told me to expect. When I called, the scheduler had Rob call me right back. He had me try a couple things over the phone, and when they didn't work, he said he'd try to squeeze me in on that afternoon (this was late on Friday). In the meantime, the scheduler set me up for an appointment first thing Monday in case he couldn't get to me. By Monday, the icemaker was working, so I didn't need him to come back out. But I appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to help figure out the problem.

Very courteous and prompt. Took time to find the problem since it took a while before the dishwasher would leak. Ordered appropriate parts and returned to install. Very professional.

Broadripple Appliance was able to come out the same day I called. The problem was diagnosed quickly, and since the part would need to be ordered, the technician was able to wire a work-around so we could use the washing machine in the interim. The part came in in less than a week and was installed very quickly. I would highly recommend using Broad Ripple Appliance again.

Rob arrived on a Thursday, on time, and diagnosed a restriction in the evaporator of our nearly new but out of warranty fridge.He ordered a new part for the next day. The new part came in damaged. Rob loaned us a small refrigerator to get us by until a new part could be obtained on Monday. Monday, Rob arrived on time. Over the weekend he had researched the problem and found a possibility the evaporator could be repaired rather than replaced. He performed the repair and it was successful thus saving us over $200 for the new part. He did have the new part just in case it was needed. The refrigerator has been work fine since the repair. A few days after the repair I received a telephone message from Beth Ann Krier indicating they had double charged us for the service call and they would be sending a refund check for the over charge. I received the refund check on 6/27/09. I had not noticed the overcharge but they did and they proactively took care of it. Excellent service from the tech and from the company. Highly recommended.
