Called BR Appliance on Monday to look at washer as it was making unusual noise. They offered me an appt. that day, but I opted for 2 days later. Brad came out to look at the machine, thought he knew what the problem was, tried to fix it, but when he ran a cycle, the noise remained. He then proceeded to problem solve, determined that a part was worn out and slipping, which was causing the noise. He did not have a replacement part on his truck, but went to supplier, got the part, and had the machine fixed in no time. I am very happy with the prompt service and his ability to fix the machine the first time out. We have used BR Appliance in the past and will use them again without hesitation.

Brad was very helpful and provided good, prompt service. He answered questions about other appliances in my home and gave me his phone number to use if I have any further issues. He even called the next day because he remembered that he forgot to replace the light bulb cover in the refrigerator.

17 year old gas dryer determined to need a new motor. Total cost, plus service call would have been just over $300. He was given the OK to make the repair, but suggested that it wasn't worth spending that much on a dryer repair. Suggested the most reliable style of dryer, and commented that there was no difference, other than little used features, between the $350 and $1,000 dryer. He's earned my trust, and business on any future repair calls.

The service person was very professional and, as far as I could tell, very honest. He was honest about the fact that making a repair to our washer might cost more than just buying a new one. He gave us lots of information about washers in general and told us what to look for when we go to purchase a new washer. He even gave us his cell phone number in case we had questions while shopping for a new wahser.

It went great! I actually got home and the dish inside the microwave was missing, and they ordered it for me and did not charge me!

I was given a window of 11-2 and the technician arrived promptly at 11. I was afraid that my pump was shot, but after some troubleshooting it turned out that there was some grease buildup in the drainage hose. The hose is white and cross-hatched so it was impossible to see. After clearing the line, the technician waited for the machine to fill and then made sure the machine drained properly before packing up. While we were waiting for the dishwasher to do its thing, the technician chatted with me about several helpful things including the temperature of the water, better cleaning agents to use in the washer, and what to look for when it's time to actually purchase a new one. It was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

The knowledgeable technician found mice resting in the back of our dryer who had chewed through an electrical cord. Instead of replacing the component, he fixed it and recommended different dryer vent covers to prevent the mice for re-entering the house.

It went great. We discovered the issue on a Monday, called them out for that afternoon. In the mean time, we cleaned under the fridge and it appeared to be working, so we cancelled. By Thursday, it wasn't working again and since they were so polite and professional on Monday, I called them again. They sent their technician out that morning, he had it replaced and working fine in a few hours. I appreciated his explanation on the phone, his evaluation on whether it was worth fixing, and his desire to fix it that day. Their office support was very thorough and professional, just very impressive on all accounts. I will use them again for any future repairs!

I rely upon my washer and dryer and wasn't looking forward to going to the laundrymat. I checked Angie's and checked with several businesses. Broadripple responded and came out the same day and repaired the machine. He also explained to me what part he had to replace and showed me how the fabric softner dispenser was clogged. He helpled me to understand why the dryer needed to be fixed again. (I had it repaired a year ago by another company.) He explained that because my laundryroom was upstairs, it was difficult for the vent to expel the lint or whatever. He recommended a vent company and told me that I would have to get the vent cleaned routinely. I thought I had purchased a inferior washer/dryer - it's a Whirlpool. He said that given that my washer/dryer are and not on an exterior wall, I would have vent problems. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They were prompt, professional and cordial.

I was given the option of same day service and a time frame that fit my needs. Brad called me with his ETA and he arrived promptly. He was professional, courteous and I appreciated his patience with explaining the repair needed. He even gave me a simple lesson on what had gone wrong and what needed to be fixed, as well as instructions regarding preventative maintenance. I really appreciated his time and effort to instruct. He had to go get the exact part needed to finish the repair and returned promptly. I was very pleased with the service and Brad's professionalism. I would highly recommend this company and, especially, the technician. His experience and expertise was evident.

My 6 year old Whirlpool top-loading washer suddenly stopped; it just wouldn't do anything--no humming, no clicking, nothing. I went to Angie's List and saw the reviews for Broad Ripple Appliance Repair, and Brad in particular. So I gave them a call. The polite and helpful lady that answered the phone said they were all booked up that day (Friday), but could give me the first appointment on Monday; I thought that was reasonable. She also said that if they had a cancellation, they would call me and see if they could work me in the same day; that was more than reasonable. About 20 minutes later, I got a call from Brad--yes, the same Brad that has gotten rave reviews all over Angie's List. He said he had a window of time and, if I was home, he could come "right now". How sweet is that? I said "come on!". Brad got to my house about 15 minutes later. He rang the doorbell, introduced himself, put on his booties, diagnosed the problem, disassembled the control panel on the washer, verified his diagnosis when he found the burnt-out lid switch, asked how I wanted to approach the repair (bypass it, or replace it), went back to the truck, found a replacement switch, wrote up the ticket, replaced the switch, reassembled the control panel, and tested the repair successfully. He did all of that, from entry to exiting my front door, in eight minutes! I am not exaggerating, I am not kidding. I inadvertently timed it, because I was timing something else while he was doing all of this. Eight minutes! It was unbelievable! Needless to say, I am not only satisfied, I am in awe! His assessment? "When you've been doing something for 37 years, you get to be pretty good at it." No kidding!

The whole experience from my initial phone call to going to look look at available dryers was very pleasant. Friendly company that makes sure you understand what options are available. The owner was very fair on price and even knocked a few dollars off due to my current situation with having a kid in college and 6 loads of laundry to due. I would recommend Broad Ripple Appliance to freinds.

When we called Broad Ripple Appliance, we were able to get someone out that same afternoon. They gave us a time frame of 1:00-4:00 p.m. but called when they were on their way, which ended up being right at the beginning of that timeframe. Brad pulled the oven out from the wall and commented that the problem was not what he had expected, and continued on with removing the panels in order to diagnose the issue. It turned out we had fried a circuit. Brad called on the spot to get a price on the part we needed replaced, and told us what it would cost for the part and their labor. The part was going to be $180 and with labor the entire estimate to repair was going to be $380. We ultimately ended up buying the part and fixing the oven ourselves. We only ended up paying for the estimate, which ended up costing $54.95 after we used a coupon from Angie's List. Thanks to Broad Ripple Appliance for their help.

In as much as the repairman arrived so soon after my conversation with their office and the repair itself was completed so promptly not to mention the friendliness of the repairman, I rate the whole experience as very successful.

Brad arrived on time, inspected the problem and determined the icemaker needed replacing. He gave me an estimate before starting work, then explained what he was doing as he worked. He was very pleasant and professional. I would definately call Broad Ripple Appliance again.

I called Broad Ripple Appliance and Bill the owner was very informative as I explaned my dryer had went out. He let me know in detail the refurbished dryers avaliable in his store and the cost of his on hand inventory. He explained the purchase process along with details on how to get to his store. I went to his store and he was very freindly and polite and gave me a great deal on a refurbished electric dryer. I explaned I had wet cloths that were waitng to be dryed and the clothes I had put in my dryer need to be dried also. I also explained I would like delivery today and he made it happen 2 hours later. Bill and his guys did a great job installing the dryer and removal of the old one. They were very helpful in helping remove a shelving unit that was on the landing to the basement as it was blocking a clear passage for the dryer. This is a great small business that belives in customer service and goes to the extra effort to make you feel as your money is well spent. I would recommend this Broad Ripple Appliance to my family and freinds.

Brad, determined that an overload relay had gone bad, and replaced it. He was gone in 30 minutes. Broad Ripple Appliance is my place for appliance repair from now on. I can't express how happy I am with their service.

The washer stopped working over the weekend. I called first thing on a Monday morning and was able to schedule a service call for the same morning. Brad, the service technician arrived during the time specified. He was professional and very helpful, quickly making the repair. Come to find out my 12 year old who I've been teaching how to do laundry had been overloading the machine. Some socks, etc. had fallen into the parts and jammed so it wouldn't spin (guess Mom has some retraining to do). Overall good experience and will be using Broad Ripple Appliance again.

He came and did some troubleshooting on the dishwasher. It was going to be too expensive to repair vs. just buying a new one. He gave solid recommendations for brand and type to replace it with.
