It took 2 days to get a repair tech here, which I thought was longer than I anticipated. I was excited Brad was our assigned technician, as his reviews are glowing here on Angie's List and it appears he knows his appliances. He called prior to arrival, was punctual with the assigned time, professional and tidy. He didn't need to turn on the oven upon arrival. It seems he already almost knew the situation before he even drove to my home based on the error codes and behavior of the appliance from my description. He developed 3 different quotes for work based on options to correct the problems, so costs were easy to determine if to replace or repair. He offered information regarding how the oven operates, and allowed me to flutter around him to clean out the dirt and gunk that is not accessible when the oven is assembled. He was quick, efficient and professional. Just what a customer wants.

If it were possible to give an A++ I would. I was not able to be home when the BR appliance repair tech came to my home but my adult son was able to be here for me. He said that the tech arrived right when he said that he would, he was very knowledgable and diagnosed the problem almost before he looked at it. It was fixed very quickly for a fair price. When I called to set up the appointment, the person I spoke with on the phone was very professional and kind.

They had to take the freezer apart to figure out why it wasn't freezing. They were so nice. The checked and replaced filters in my other appliances (GE Fridge). They came and fixed the problem quickly. I am very impressed.

I contacted Broad Ripple Appliance this morning after arriving at work. Their technician, Brad, then promptly contacted my husband at our home and said he was on his way. He arrived quickly, disassembled our dryer, diagnosed the problem to be an expired heating element, retrieved the parts required for the repair, and then, without any prompting from either my husband or myself, he proceeded to replace one of the existing ducts with a new one in addition to cleaning all of the debris which had accumulated on the inside of each of the remaining ducts. The entire job was completed in slightly over an hour, including the time he used to drive and get the parts he needed. Finally, as he was leaving, he also recommended a very simple means of repairing our dishwasher. We even received a discount of $10.00 from our Angie's List membership! For those Angie's List readers who may have stumbled upon our recent reviews, you will know that my husband and I have been busy with repairs to our aging home. As first-time home owners, our experiences with the trades persons who have been tasked with those repairs, be they plumbers, appliance repair technicians, landscapers, etc., have been both enlightening and rewarding. Brad, with Broad Ripple Appliance, has proven once again that professional, skilled, and dedicated tradesmen and women will always be necessary in our community.

It went well. Brad came out and he was very thorough, and he really knows ovens! Honestly his personality was so pleasant that you cannot help but trust his judgment. He came out on time (well actually a little early which was great on a Saturday), the price seemed fair, and I would definitely use them again. Thanks Broad Ripple!

After trying a couple of other repair services over the years with middling results called Broad Ripple Appliance to take a look at our 10 year old oven that would broil & the stove worked but wouldn't bake. Got the appointment set up when my wife was going to be home a few days out and waited. Brad from BRA gets a lot of raves here & its easy to see why. He diagnosised the problem fairly quickly ( motherboard) & with my wife weighed whether to fix it or get new. For an oven that old it didn't make much sense to spend $500 fixing it when for a couple hundred more you could have new. So he didn't fix it.He did give her some brands he favored from a reliability standpoint as replacements so that was VERY helpful. What really impressed is the discussion he had about our other appliances. Letting her know that the refrigerator would be worthwhile to fix but not the ice-maker. That he didn't work on our brand of dishwasher but gave us the name of folks he recommended would do a good job if it came to it. Couldn't be more pleased with Brad's actions & will be contacting Broad Ripple Appliance for future repairs if & when needed. They get our biz from now on

Brad showed up on schedule, went to work immediately, and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He identified 2 possible causes, one of which was major and the other relatively minor. It turned out to be the minor cause. The issue was a malfunctioning overload/relay and Brad had a replacement with him which he installed. He put everything back together and my refrigerator works as good as new. Brad let me watch him work and was very courteous in answering all my questions. He also gave me some advice about cleaning and operating my unit. Brad was very professional and knowledgeable and I would definitely call him again.

Service tech was the man. Was flexible and understanding with me when I was running later and provided honest feedback about the decision to either have appliances repaired or just replaced. Went as far as suggesting brands when looking for new appliances. Trust and respect him immensely as he was very candid and genuine in his work and recommendations. If they appliances were worth being fixed, Broad Ripple Appliance would be doing it!

My washer would not spin/drain. I submitted my initial request online and received a very prompt call to schedule an appointment for the next morning. Brad called prior to his arrival, was very professional and personable. He listened to my description of the problem and diagnosed the failed pump quickly. He explained the issue and the estimate to repair, showing the itemized costs. After replacing the pump he asked if I would like to have the failed part. I chose not to keep it, so he took it with him to be recycled. I would definitely call Broad Ripple Appliance for future needs.

The refrigerator appears to be sealing well, and we are relieved that we are no longer experiencing the quicker spoilage that was becoming more and more noticeable. The refrigerator is approximately 23+ years old and has required service several times, but it is still worth the cost of repair vs replacement. We did use a $50 Angie's list discount for this service --without that discount, we will have to start considering the cost of repairs from this point on. The serviceman was prompt and very familiar with the brand and specifics of our refrigerator, making me very comfortable about the service performed. I didn't expect him to do more than replace the gasket, so I was surprised at the time and effort he took to do additional services. I was also not expecting the overall cost, but in retrospect, I am glad he was thorough and I appreciate his dedication to his work. I hope the work he performed will keep the refrig running smoothly for another few years.

Our Subzero is 27 yrs. old and has had many problems. Mr. Price has always been able to get it fixed. He vacuumed it thoroughly. Had dirty blocked condenser. He checked pressure on freezer and frig. Recharged with coolant . replaced some faulty components, and now it works great. He worked on it for 3 hrs.

I got same-day service. The technician checked out my washer, quickly figured out what to do and got it running again. I've done three loads of clothes since the repair and the washer worked perfectly.

Everything went easy and smooth. I booked an appointment with a friendly scheduler. The tech called to ask if it was OK to come by a little ahead of schedule. It was totally OK. He checked out the dryer and told me it needed a new door switch. He had one on his truck so the repair was done pretty quickly. He was efficient and careful. He also gave me pointers on how to avoid the problem in the future.

Called and scheduled service for the same day which was nice. Was asked some general questions about the issue I was having with my washer. The washer/dryer combo is a Maytag laundry center style unit so they are stacked and permanently connected. It is very heavy and difficult to move as I have to move it to clean out the lint in the dryer vent occasionally. The technician arrived on time and called ahead to let me know he was on his way. After arriving I explained the issue with the washer- it wouldn't fill when the lid was closed. The technician checked a few things and unscrewed a cover and about 10 minutes later came out and said he was "walking away from this one". He said that the area was too tight and that it was too heavy to move- he also mentioned that he was older and could be a bit pickier on the repairs that he did. He also let me know that I had told the person on the phone that it was a stacked unit which it isn't- its a laundry center. I did tell them it was a stacked unit but even if I had 2 units that were stacked on top of each other they weren't going to be lighter or easier to move. He said he thought it was the timer or an issue with the wiring. He apologized and provided 2 other companies that he recommended I call. Both companies weren't as highly ranked so I called another company- Turner Appliance. If you are going to pick and choose the work that you are going do you need to ask more questions upfront like the model number. Another great question would be where is the washer/dryer located at and is it easy to access. This would keep you from wasting peoples time as I had to take time off work to meet him. I wasn't going to write a review but after Turner Appliance came out and fixed my washer in 15 minutes I had to let others know. It ended up being a blown fuse and cost $100 total for the repair.

iOur dishwasher was working but not cleaning well; fine on the bottom rack, left a greasy film on the top. We called Broad Ripple due to their good ratings. Brad, the technician, arrived promptly as scheduled and quickly diagnosed that the pump was defective. He was upfront with us about the cost and was patient with our decision. We decided to get it fixed and he said he could fix later it the day. He left for another job and then called us about a half hour later, saying the 2nd call didn't respond, so he could fix the dishwasher even faster. He did the job well and also gave us thorough tips (eg. what soap, additives to use) to get the best wash. Overall we were very pleased with his service. We were tempted to give a B for price (because we really didn't want to spend that much money.....but we think it would be fair to give a A since he honored the Angies List discount of $10 off the repair and also knocked another $10 off due to getting the job done faster than he expected. FYI the price of the motor assembly was $191, labor $88, service call charge $60 and tax $13.37....total $342.30

Brad was excellent. They had to come out twice and both times the issue was fixed within an hour. Wasn't charged the second time due to it being under warranty. I will use them for all my needs.

I've never before had such great repair service! Setting up the appointment was easy, efficient, pleasant. Brad, the technician, called me when he was ready to head my way and he arrived right on time. He really knew what he was doing! He had my washer running perfectly in virtually no time. I called at 8 am this morning b/c of the refrigerator and they were able to fit me in today! Brad called in advance, as promised, and diagnosed things quickly and completed his work in a timely manner. He explained all the issues to me and was very professional.

They came out to inspect my fridge. They gave me their honest opinion and advised me on who to buy one from. Honest people. They came early to the appointment!

When I called they set up an appointment for the next day. I got a call 30 minutes before the tech showed up giving me plenty of time to make it home. He knew exactly what he was doing. He got the problem fixed and then did a thorough cleaning of the two separate SubZero units, doing a much better job than I could have done because of the tools he brought with him.

Went smoothyl. Able to come out quickly. Service man was prompt, clear and complete.
