The project went very well. Devin and Sheldon did the project and we are very pleased. We felt the project was reasonably priced and at our request they came back to do a minor touch up.

Chimney & Masonry Outfitters scheduled an inspection and cleaning for my real estate client promptly. Their quoted prices were very competitive with the other companies I called. They showed up on time and performed the inspection. After informing me that the chimney was already clean, they recommended no cleaning and did not bill me for the service call. I will definitely be using them for my personal needs as well as my real estate clients in the future

We had to get our fireplace up to code and wanted to convert it to gas logs in the process. We had our chimney partially rebuilt and waterproofed, and had a gas line run in our basement. Both crews did a great job. They were friendly, professional and clean.

Tyler came and did an excellent job checking our two fireplaces. He showed us the proper way to set our gas fire logs as well to prevent carbon build up. Will certainly reach out to this company for our next service.

Very pleased with the work performed. The guys were polite, professional and did a great job cleaning up. They even came back the same week to fix some additional areas we missed on the original estimate. Would definitely recommend them.

I had a new chimney chase and new cap installed. I gave them a C rating because I was not satisfied with the way the chase was installed. The chase was installed with just using adhesive, I think it should have been secured with stainless steel lag bolts on each corner which I ended up doing myself. Also the new cap they used did not have a screen around the outside of the outer pipe that would let bird get between the double wall pipe. I end up putting my old cap back on myself. As far as the people involved, salesman and installer, all were very nice and polite. The installation of everything just needs to slow down and do it right! So if you use CMO make sure to get everything in writing how the job will be done, fastening of chase etc.

It is rare that a company will show up at your home without requesting a basic service fee to show up, Chimney and Masonry Outfitters sent out timely notices of the appointment and were on time, and no, they did not ask for a service fee. My damper would not close and with the humidity of summer, the fireplace odor was present in a couple of rooms. Service Rep David Dickenson was professional and very knowledgeable. Shoes off as soon as he hit my front door before entering and he had his mask. He adjusted my damper and when I asked him how much, he said zero due, was his pleasure. Wow, Chimney and Masonry Outfitters is a step back to yesteryear when companies were actually interested in building a life long relationship. They will be the only company I use for fireplace and chimney related issues. Dan C

The work was done well at a much better price than the first company I called for an estimate. Everyone involved was very friendly and responsive. They also have really good financing options: I chose the 18 months same as cash.

They were on time and professional. Work looks great and they completely cleaned up after themselves.

I had to contact CMO a couple times to get scheduled as early as possible in the spring. They came on time and did a detailed evaluation of a leak that began after a new roof was installed. I wanted an independent evaluation. They had to make a hole in the ceiling and run water at various locations. They ultimately determined that the leak was at the flashing, but the roofer disputed their finding. I tend to believe CMO.

They did a good job of matching the existing mortar color as closely as possible, which was important as we live in an historic district. Only thing that could have been done better is that they had to reschedule the work date twice to later dates, as prior jobs took longer than expected.

They did an excellent job, were on time, were reasonably priced, and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent. They were able to source our original brick, and in a smaller quantity than a full cube. They matched the grout perfectly (unlike prior masons who did tuck-pointing), and they have modern systems so appointments, quoting, payment, etc. were handled nicely. They did a great job.

Have not yet decided to spend the money as I have several home projects to address.

Haven't had the repairs yet, but appreciated the prompt, professional appraisal by Paul. In addition, he took multiple photos (attached) in order to show us the damage and to show how the company would repair the problem. He also noted that a quicker, less expensive fix was possible, but it wouldn't prevent water getting into our chimney and could lead to even bigger long-term issues, e.g., water coming down into the ceiling. I expect an equally positive experience with the repair. Chimney & Masonry Outfitters came recommended by the general contractor, Rick Hamilton, who did our massive remodel. He has never steered us wrong.

With COVID-19 still upon us, the tech had to be asked to wear a mask in our home. He was responsive to this request however our county, we are currently in phase 2 until tomorrow and it would have been more professional to assume to wear a mask. We have been impressed with the work the company has done in the past and most likely will use them again.

The project went well and the work was performed as described in the estimate.

He was very knowledgeable and gave great advice as to options we could pursue. We ended up going with just aggregate which is not their expertise but I would definitely look to them again for brick work I might need done.
