Description of Work: Nothing. I left a message on their voicemail and sent an email. I arranged for another provider to give me an estimate. Then they called me 3 weeks after my email. I said that I would call them if I wanted a second opinion. I called, left a message and never received a return call.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for 3 hours for masonry work.

Description of Work: It took a few days for Masonry Outfitters to return my call. We arranged a time for them to come out and estimate the job. When they came out, they also climbed onto my roof and claimed I needed an additional $1400 in work to my chimney. If I just wanted to use the coupon to fill in the vent in my crawlspace, I would have to pay them an additional $115 for "overhead and materials." The hole they were filling in would probably only take 6 bricks. The coupon said there would be an additional charge for overhead and materials, but I never expected the overhead charge to be more than the cost of the coupon itself!

Description of Work: Technician met me at home. He explained a chimney cleaning is typically just done on fireplace chimney, mine is a chimney used by the furnace. Said I did not need a chimney sweep for that. He was knowledgeable and courteous.

Description of Work: He was on time, very professional, polite, clean. Excellent!

Provider contacted me and set up appointment within two weeks... estimated the work... provided two estimates... both more expensive than I anticipated and I abandoned plans to proceed with the work... I would note that subsequent to the estimate the contractor did not follow up again so I would guess he was not that anxious to perform the work.

Description of Work: I ordered the Big Deal because I had two doorways that had brick sills. The bricks were deteriorating, so I wanted them replaced. I assumed the job could be done in three hours or less. There were 11 1/2 bricks that needed to be partially removed and replaced. Kortney Zahn came out to assess the job. He told me I needed three rows of bricks removed and replaced on each door. His quote for the entire job was $520 in addition to the $99 from the big deal. I asked to do only the top row and it was still $120 + $99. I decided to get another quote. Dr Dan came out, told me I only needed to do the top row and would do it for $90 including supplies. It took him 90 minutes to do the job.

Description of Work: Needed work done as part of the home inspection as we are selling our home. Provided the inspection report to Masonry Outfitters and requested an estimate. The estimate received was much higher than expected. Received a second estimate from another masonry company - highly rated on Angie's List. The second estimate was much more in line with what I expected. So, I chose not to use Masonry Outfitters to complete the work.

Description of Work: mis leading, I needed repairs on concrete steps, they informed me they only did brick masonary type work, my steps are concrete not bricks!

Description of Work: The contractor was honest about me not needing this service and said my existing chimney cap was fine. I will be using them for other services that we did end up needing. Their honesty and level of service was great.

Description of Work: Upon his review of the location and work we needed he advised us that we really needed concrete work to fix the problem. I was told I could complete one form and I would receive 2 refunds and 2 refund emails.

Description of Work: We have a crack in our brick and we attempted to fix it. I purchased the Big Deal to get a professional's opinion. They came out and said our repair was sufficient.
