Breedlove Dobbs Heating & AC

It went very smoothly. One of the owners came out for the estimate and we scheduled the work within a few days. The service men arrived on time and finished the job with professionalism. I would hire them again if I needed to.

Our Furace went out on April 24th - we called Breedlove Dobbs at 9am and they arrived 30 minutes after we called. Our old 21 yr furnace would require a new gas valve so we ask for a cost estimate for a new furnace. One of the owners, Jeff Rich came to our house at 4:30 and provide us with a quote. We obtained another quote from another company the same day. Both quotes were very close in price, but Breedlove Dobbs gave specific furnace model numbers and a guaranteed "Not to Exceed price". They came on May 2 and replaced the furnace in about 5 hours. All of their employees were very personable and professional. We have a very pleasant experience using Bredlove Dobbs.

Overall, the service was good. Seems like the techs always try to up sell you on some extra products or services, but it wasn't a pushy sales job, so it wasn't too annoying. The tech inspected our humidifier, which we thought wasn't working properly, and showed me how to adjust the controls, and confirmed that it actually was working - which I appreciated. The only reason i gave a "B" under professionalism -and maybe this is silly- is because the tech asked if "the kids were mine", and as an adoptive mother, I tend to get annoyed with that! It just didn't seem very professional to me.

The overall service call went very well. The tech was very thorough and was careful going inside and out used booties to keep the debris and dirt out of the house.

They are always very nice. They accommodate you with the appointments. I have always had them and I have always been pleased with their work. I think that they are little bit more expensive but they are more reliable so I keep having them come back.

Replaced a part (previously ordered). Tested the system to be sure it worked properly. Very respectful of my home.

They are very punctual. They seem reasonable enough price wise. Their technicians are always courteous and they seem fairly knowledgeable. I have been satisfied with them.

They were pretty expensive. They came on time and did the work.

It has not worked correctly from day one. They had to bring in Carrier technicians to fix it. I have not paid for a service call since our unit has not worked. We do not like the technician we get, so we requested another. We waited for another technician, but the same technician we do not like came out again. He tried to charge for a service call, which I indicated that I would not pay since they have not gotten our system working properly. I have left several messages, they have been avoiding my calls and the technician lied to me.

It's been a A+ experience. They were thorough, honest and extremely knowledgeable.

My appointment time was between 11 & 1. I received a phone call from the dispatcher and she told me they would be at my house at 11:00. 11:00 came and went. I called about 12:30 and asked where the technician was. She told me that the technician that was suppose to be at my house at 11:00 did not have the right equipment for a geothermal unit so they were going to have to send someone else. No phone call or nothing. Finally at 1:45 a technician arrived. He checked the unit and said it seems to be working OK. I told him it does for about an hour and then doesn't work. He told me perhaps I needed to install a new filter. I told him I did that about a week ago. I asked him to check the freon because we have had problems with that before. He said he didn't think it needed freon. Didn't check either. He said he couldn't find anything wrong. He asked how old the unit was and maybe I needed to buy a new one. If there wasn't anything wrong why would I buy a new one. And on the sheet he gave me it said he did things he didn't do.

Great job! Jeffery Rich came out to service our system and was on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a wonderful experience and will definately use them again. I will ask for Jeffery again. He knew what he was talking about and wasn't pushy or trying to get me to replace my system. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

They were able to come out right away, got fixed quickly, and everything went well.

They did not finish the job. The owner of the company cussed me out and screamed at me at the top of her lungs after I called her to report that her workman had "sat' on our job for over two weeks and nothing was going to be done. The owner then informed me that she would be coming out to "void our warranty" with the manufacturer due to working on our heat pump in the snow. I had to call my builder to see if he could intercede on our behalf. The builder then had to take care of the problem as this should have been a warranted issue. If you have a choice of contractors, my advice would be to look elsewhere.

The work performed was done on time at a very reasonable price. Ray Walton is a top notch HVAC Company. I will definetly use them again in the future.

Existing air conditioner was unable to cool house, it was the original air conditioner installed when the house was built (1987), and had worn out compressor valves. The original air conditioner always ran continuously and was never able to cool effectively in very hot weather. Jeff from Breedlove determined that the original unit was significantly undersized for the size of the house. He designed an appropriately sized system which should be much more energy efficient. Since the new system was installed we have had much greater comfort and consistency throughout the house- even in the upstairs bedrooms which were always significantly warmer than the rest of the house..

Called to request a same day service appointment at 7:45am and was told that it would be no problem and someone could "probably" come out at 11am but that their computer was currently down and the phone attendant would call back in just a bit when it was working again. At 10am I called back to ensure that someone would be out at 11am since I did not get a return call. It did not appear that any appointment was made for me but I was told that someone could come out immediately and then was told that they were in greenwood and could not come until later. Then I was told that they were "trying to cancel some appointments" and they could come out at 2pm. Finally I felt I had heard enough and anticipated a day of calling and waiting ahead of me so I withdrew my service appointment request. They seemed to be disorganized and had a lack of follow-up in setting appointments.

I was very pleased with Jeff Rich, owner, and all of the individuals we worked with from Breedlove Dobbs. We did not have an emergency requiring us to replace our furnace immediately. We received several quotes and worked with Jeff about our needs. The technicians that installed the furnace were very courteous and professional. We had one minor glitch, after they left, we found out that same night that the air conditioning unit was not working. Upon contacting Jeff early the next morning, the technicians were out that same day and corrected the wiring. They also took the time to show me how the zoning and controller operates. Overall, I was very pleased and plan on using Breedlove Dobbs when we need to replace our air conditioner.

The installation began at 1PM and finished at 6PM. Everything seems to be working just fine and we are very happy. We will definitely use this company for future HVAC needs in the future.

The service guy came out to clean my furnace, he took it apart and left without putting it back together because I told them I would consider getting a new one. The furnace was working just fine and he told me I needed to replace it. Since then they put it back together it makes a strange noise. Their hourly rate was decent but the parts prices seemed high.

They were fine and we would use them again.

I really liked their professionalism and the timeliness of the service. They were very prompt for the appointment; It was easy to do business with them.
