The Tile Shop Booher coordinated with missed an appointment and shipped incorrect tile. Booher apologized and re-did the tile with the correct type. The workmanship is excellent, and Booher really worked with me when ever I had concerns with anything. Booher could benefit from working on their internal communication, also took longer than expected.

Once again I am on cloud nine with the professionalism and responsiveness of this company. As I put in my last review, I intend on keeping other Angie's List members informed as this project goes forward. Today I met with John Sartin, and he was not only on-time, but also very professional and truly reinforced my decision to go with this company for my basement project. John answered all of my questions and to my surprise even made some suggestions that will improve the project. I should also mention a lady by the name of Vicki who works with the company also. She had been outstanding in staying on top of all the items (fixtures) that need to be ordered for this project. She has also reminded me of things that i overlooked or forgot, and I simply could not be more pleased with her assistance thus far. I cannot wait until the finished project is done so that i can share what i know will be awesome photos of a wonderful basement project. This entire company truly has its act together, and again, my only regret is that I did not find them a long time ago.

out, but if the iAlthough i plan to submit a review at the completion of this basement project, I wanted to first send a review about the wonderful experience I have had with this contractor thus far. They have now been to my home on three occasions to go over questions, take measurements and to begin the planning and designing of my basement project. I should also state that my previous contractor ripped me off for thousands of dollars. So this time I truly put a ton of research and time into finding the right contractor that would be the best fit for my project. I worked with a man by the name of Mike Young, and I cannot begin to tell you how knowledgeable and thorough this man is. He truly knows his craft, and if he did not have an answer, he quickly got it for me. Once I signed the contract for the work, I was shocked at the level of organization and continued professionalism that kicked in immediately. I was quickly introduced to everyone that would be involved in the project (via email) and who would be handling each aspect of the job. The efficiency and attention to detail has been phenomenal. Everything has been clearly spelled out in my contract, and they have even been so kind as to help with the ordering of products for the basement project, right down to the bathroom faucet. I simply cannot say enough great things about my experience so far, I just wish that I would have found them a long time ago. If you are in any way considering a remodeling project or any construction project for that matter, it will be well worth your time to at least call and get an estimate from Booher Building Company. I will let everyone know how this project turns out, but if all of these early signs are an any indication, then I can tell you it is going to be awesome.

Mike Young came out to give a quote. He was on time, however I was not there yet due to traffic. He was kind enough to wait 30 minutes for my husband to arrive. My husband said he took pictures and was very detailed with his measuring. We were emailed a detailed quote about a week later, and Mike was very proactive in communicating with me, but was not pushy about it. He spent much time on the phone answering my questions and was very kind even when I told him we were going in another direction. I would definitely be willing to work with Booher on another home project.

Mike came out and talked to us about everything we wanted to have done. Emailed us an estimate within a week or so. About a week before they were to get started John and Gary came out to make sure they understood everything we wanted done. They would be managing the project. They put a lock box on our door the first day so we wouldn't have to wait on them before leaving for work. But they were usually here before 8:00 anyway. They kept us updated along the way and if if we had a question or concern they responded immediately. They were right on target with the estimate and we actually added a couple of things as the project went on. We have dealt with contractors before and this was by far our best experience. The work that was completed was also excellent. We would give them an A+ if I could.. :)

Very well, work was well supervised. Craftsmen were very capable with good quality. Work was done as scheduled and was well documented up front.

Very happy with the process. Called most days to let me know the next day's schedule. They had the most understandable detailed estimates of the four contractors I interviewed for job.

Start to finish: Excellent experience from Mike Young, John Sartin and Gary Holiday, Cathy and Vicki. Fast and professional top to bottom. Clean up each day excellent. Framing crew outstanding. Communication very responsive. Highly recommended. Update: 12/6/14 - Still enjoying the porch - great investment. Tip: Ask for screw on trim vs nails to make soccer ball screen damage more easily repairable :)

It went great! everyone listended to our needs and did the best to accomodate our schedule. they were all polite and courteous.

I got 3 estimates, all which were within a few hundred dollars of each other. I picked Booher because I just got a "good feeling" talking to Mike when he came out. I'm a retired police officer and rely on my gut instinct. I was right. There was a snowstorm the night before the work was to start, so there was a one day delay. Even with that, the job was completed in 4 days and I couldn't be happier. My ugly textured ceiling was covered with beadboard and painted. My ceiling fan was removed and recessed lighting was installed, as well as a pendant light over my island. I also had a faux tin backsplash installed and some minor electrical work done in another room. Everyday, the kitchen was cleaned before they left and everyone was professional and friendly. I will certainly use them on my next project!

They did a fine job. Always kept us up to date as to when to expect each of the workmen. All the workmen were courteous and professional. From start to finish they're one of the best companies I have ever used.

It too a little longer than expected but they did a good job. Did a very good job of keeping my house clean.

Everyone did great job, started on time, they were able to accommodate us given our baby came early! They were polite and respectful. Great job!

John and Gary provided excellent service. On time, hard working, all teams arrived, did their part and job has been finished ahead of time. Had trouble getting price nailed down - a small thing, but is getting worked out.

They gave me an estimate. I chose them for the work. They performed it efficiently and well.

We interviewed a few companies and we selected Booher, couldn't be more happy. They are extremely detailed and walked us through every step of the process. They were very patient when helping us select tile, paints, hardware etc etc up front and got right to work once everything arrived. Felt very safe with them in the house and they were very courteous. They even fixed a small problem we had in our garage while they were finishing up. We never felt like they were just trying to rush to finish the job, good company. Will be using them for another upcoming project we have.

From the time of estimate to the finish this was a smooth job. Very helpful, had major mistake in bathroom #2 with tile (not their fault) and they willingly removed and replaced tile without question.

They were overpriced and had subcontractors come in. There were areas where the drywall was not taped and sanded off properly. This cause blemishes when we had to paint the walls.
