We hired Booher to do a complete remodel of our 25-year old master bath and couldn’t be more pleased with the choice we made. There was good communication with the Booher team both before and during the remodel. They did a great job of scoping the project, including a detailed line-by-line cost estimate and renderings to help us visualize the final product. They had a very organized process to help us select all of our materials, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. They finished the project on time and on budget! And as a true testament to their commitment to quality and professionalism, when we had a small repair that was needed 5 months after the project was completed, they were onsite to take care of it the same day that we called them. Couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom and with Booher!

They did everything that we agreed on correctly. They improvised and they a nice job. They were very timely and very neat. They are also respectful with time.

We hired Booher to remodel two upstairs bathrooms in our home this summer. The end result looks very nice, and the process went pretty smoothly. We had remodeled our master bath a few years back, NOT with this company, and it was nothing short of a disaster, so we were nervous about tackling another project. This company is very organized and uses several sub-contractors, and needless to say this was a much better experience! The organization makes the project go smoothly, and their experience was apparent. The process took about six months from the very first estimate until the final result. Everything is picked out and ordered ahead of time; the work does not start until everything is ready, to avoid weeklong delays waiting for products to come in or pick the items out. There were a few minor glitches, but those were taken care of without a problem. There are also no surprises - if something is changed from the original you are informed and sign for it, there are no surprise expenses just given at the end. That has not always been the case for us. The employees are nice to work with, and were patient with several novice questions we had. Our project coordinator was great, he kept us informed and kept the project moving. One tip when remodeling is stay on top of the project, read the fine print and check the work everyday to make sure things are getting done the way you want it. Do not assume anything. There is no perfect remodel, but this was a much better experience than the last company and we would hire Booher again. Thank you!

Excellent. Duncan, our project manager, kept things on track, communicated with us regularly and did a great job handling all of the details. The pre-plan/design team was very easy to work with and all of the tradesman drywall, plumbing, electrician, and the finishers did excellent work. We are very pleased.

The project went well. The contractors that Booher used were very professional and skilled in their respective fields. The project consisted of demo (removing existing garden tub and old shower stall, toilet and vanity. Booher then installed a larger walk-in shower with new custom tiling and fixtures, new toilet, new vanity with quartz countertop and sinks, new light fixtures above sinks as well as a new overhead light and fan with new switches, and had walls smoothed and painted with new trim. And seniors, we also had a TP holder with grab bar installed for our age-in-place assistance! Had a faulty product which Booher re-ordered (improved) and replaced. That delayed the project but the Project Manager kept it rolling, juggling contractors' schedules to make it work out. The final product is exactly what I'd hoped for and I'm very pleased with the results.

2 minutes ago-Edit After 24 years, our master bath was in need of a remodel. We could not have asked for a better company to bring our vision into reality. The staff at Booher Remodeling was a joy to work with. From start to finish they were professional, personable, and efficient. Each of the trades was top notch. They arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job. Duncan did a great job of making sure the project moved along in the right way. We are pleased and proud of our new luxurious bathroom and would highly recommend Booher.

We had such a good experience with our bathroom remodel (see our prior review from December 2018) that we hired Booher again to remodel the kitchen. Once again, they exceeded expectations in almost every way. The job included replacing all cabinets, installing a new stove, a new quartz counter top, a new backsplash, a new sink/disposal, a new light over the sink, some drywall changes and painting. We kept the fridge and dishwasher and the wood floor. Everything else was basically new. The project took about six weeks and required a lot of plumbing work. The kitchen was out of commission, which was a pain, but they went out of their way to keep it accessible as much as possible so we could use the dining room as a substitute kitchen as much as possible. I can't adequately describe just what a different world it is for us with a modern kitchen now. No more old counters that never seem clean. No more stuck wooden drawers. They put in two lazy susans and cleverly designed small spice rack drawers. The new kitchen is SO much more user friendly and SO easy to clean. As with our last project, the big plus of Booher was their professionalism and communication. The projects are well managed with excellent subcontractors. The project manager brings a binder that lays out what will happen and when. They are very good at explaining changes (and there will be changes on a big project like a kitchen or bathroom) and involving you in the decisions about how to resolve unexpected challenges. Booher may be a little more expensive than you other estimates, but this is what you get for it -- a well run project in which you know what is happening, when and why. One thing to know is they charge extra if you use a credit card. I was hoping to rack up some credit card reward points that I didn't get. The extra charge wasn't huge so I considered doing it anyway but the value of the lost rewards wasn't enough to make it worthwhile. (I did the math.) We ended up taking a loan to do the project instead. You pay in installments and just leave a check in the binder when they complete each milestone. We paid four times -- at the start, at the end and twice in between after big portions of the work were complete. I think it's a pretty good recommendation to say we had Booher to two big projects and we gave them A reviews both times and continue to recommend them. We will hire Booher again in the future if we need home remodeling.

We were very pleased. We selected Booher over two other companies because we felt they would get do the best job. They arrived were at our house when they said they would be most of the time and stayed on schedule. The project manager kept us up to date on everything they were doing so there were no surprises. The finished project is almost identical to the 3D rendering they showed us before we signed the contract. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Booher was phenomenal to work with. The workmanship was excellent, they were flexible with my schedule, and were professional. I would highly recommend them.

Our first caution is that your own estimate of the cost of a bathroom remodel is going to be low. We used prior projects to estimate it and the actual cost was almost twice our estimate. So whatever you are estimating, add more to the cost. We got estimates from three companies and they were all in the same general ballpark. So the tradeoff we faced was whether to spend more on the project to go with a bigger company in Booher or spend less to go with smaller company. From the start we liked the people at Booher better, we liked their drawings better and they just came across as very professional. The cost difference wasn't huge, so we went with Booher. We are very glad we did. I can't say enough about the high level of professionalism. They sent out an estimator who talked through what we wanted and created high-quality drawings that really helped us see what it would look like and understand our various options. Then we went into their showroom to pick some of the materials or they sent us to reliable companies for stuff they didn't carry. It was very seamless. The other showrooms knew we were coming and what we were looking for. The actual project took about a month. The project manager arrived at the outset with a binder that laid out what would happen each day of the project. That was really helpful, since they work with several subcontractors. It allowed us to keep track of who was coming and what they were doing each day. The subcontractors were all great. They were polite, hardworking and conscientious. And they all did excellent work. More than one recommended minor changes that solved problems, such as the most effective wiring plan for lights or how to cover a pipe that could not be moved, that we really appreciated in the end. The project proceeded on schedule with minimal interruption to our routines. The end product is SO great! Really, I can't overstate how much of a daily boost it is to go into our spectacular new bathroom each morning -- with its great lighting, nice flooring, big shower and comfortable tub -- after years of using a shabby, worn out bathroom. We are thankful literally every day for their good work. In nearly every way Booher exceeded our expectations. The only disappointment was that they charge extra if you use a credit card. They always patiently explained in detail what needed to change and why. In our case, a wiring challenge led to us asking them to just install new kitchen lighting in the room below the bathroom since they had to remove a light fixture anyway to gain access. That was a big change to the project but it went smoothly and driven by our ideas and needs. That big change aside, most of the change orders were just a hundred dollars or so here and there and did not add significantly to the total project cost. Our bottom line was that it was very worth it to us to pay a little more for the high degree of professionalism and work quality we got from Booher. We are planning to explore a kitchen remodel with them in the future.

We were very pleased with our experience with the Booher team, including both the office staff and the workers in our home. The project ended up both on time and on budget even though we ran into the inevitable glitch or two that come up in any remodeling project. We ended up with a very nice kitchen for a fair price. When we discovered a couple of small details that needed to be addressed well after the project was complete, they came quickly and addressed the issues to our complete satisfaction.

They did a wonderful job. They were very patient in the planning process and they had a decorator who was on site to help me. The shower and the water closet were made to ADA standards so we can get a wheelchair in it. We would highly recommend them as they were very professional, courteous, on time, and respected our house. If they came across something, they would ask me if I wanted it this way or that way? I appreciated them keeping me informed throughout the whole process. I really like the bathroom and I would definitely hire them again.

What a great job! Everything was planned out very well. They gave us a timeline and the project was completed on time. Everyone that worked on the project was very professional and respectful of our home. My kitchen is beautiful and I let everyone know that Booher Remodeling is a company they can trust if they want a job done well.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work. The kitchen looks fantastic. All of the workers were great to work with. The manager that oversaw the project was in constant contact with us and explained the work, potential roadblocks, options, etc. every step of the way.

They came on time, took measurements, listened to our ideas about what we wanted to do. True to their word, within a few days, we received our plans, drawings, and estimate via email. It was all very professionally done. The estimate was a little out of our planned budget, but was probably within industry standards. :-) We modified our project a bit, but, unfortunately, due to a sudden and significant change in my husband's health and job situation, we had to cancel the project before we had even completed getting quotes from other contractors we had been considering. Of the ones we did contact, however, Booher remodeling was by far the most responsive and interested in actually performing the work for us. If I am ever able to consider this project again, they would be the first people I contact. :-)

Very well. This is a well organized operation and we felt positive about what was being done every step of the way. We had a project manager, Gary, who was fabulous and could not have been more helpful to the whole project getting done well and on time.

I was not comfortable paying the contractor before a quote could be created. This is an unusual policy.

It was an excellent experience. Their price was high, but the results were excellent and the experience was excellent. Their price was a little higher than the others, but we just liked the way they did things.

Booher was extremely professional, organized, and on-time through all phases of our project.

Whole project lasted 3 months from 1st contact to finish. Took out both bathrooms in 1960 is house & replaced. Courteous & knowledgeable staff made it easy.
