The project was completed in the time frame promised in a very professional manner.

They started on time, were very professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. Project took longer than quoted (1 wk quoted, took 2.5 wks) but very happy with the end result. Great workmanship.

Booher was a great company to work with. gary was at the site nearly everyday and coordinated all of the subcontractors. He made sure all the details were taken care of and everything was done right - even when some work had to be redone to be able to indtall the shower glass and door that I wanted.

When my husband and I decided to remodel our fireplace and dining room we researched contractors on Angie?s List. We were looking for a company with a great reputation. As busy parents of two young children, it was our desire to have a reliable and professional contractor who could provide a properly and well-executed remodel in a timely fashion with as little intrusion upon our daily lives as possible. We had high hopes when we hired Booher that they were right for the job. Unfortunately, our experience proved very disappointing. We hired Booher as our general contractor so that the burden of managing the many steps of the project and finding the best craftsmen, rested with the professional. During the project we have had to micro manage issues with almost every trade. We had a very specific masonry design, which we communicated through photos, emails and conversations with Booher. However the day the mason came to our job, he had little information as to what it entailed. Once he understood, he claimed that it wasn?t possible. After much discussion and frustration with Booher we halted the project, and found our own mason, Chapman Masonry. They had no problem executing our design, and did it extremely well. However this caused a several week delay and the need to purchase new, appropriate materials. Repeated drywall attempts for our dining room ceiling left us very unimpressed with Discount Drywall. Footprints were left all over our newly sealed floors in the living room, which resulted in a ?do over?. We needed cable run to allow for a TV to be mounted above the new fireplace. The electrician relocated an old cable without testing it or having any idea of it was a functioning outlet. When it didn?t work, a hole had to be cut into our new wall to correct the issue. Crown had to be recaulked twice before it was done properly. Trim arrived at my house to work, but had no idea what he was supposed to do. I had to provide instructions and show where the work was to be done and where the materials were. In the end of a project that seemed to be one frustration after another we made Booher aware of our disappointment. (Although they had been made aware throughout the project as well.) After which they corrected the remaining issues and adjusted our final statement at my urging. We are happy with the end result, however were left feeling very disappointed with the overall management of our project. We feel that Booher was not proactive. We had to bring items to their attention time and time again and stay on top of them until they were done properly. It was also disappointing that we almost sacrificed our design because they didn?t take the time ?ahead of time- to understand what we were looking for.

Although I have a custom home, the builder dropped the ball on the master bedroom closet by not making it very functional. Booher Construction quickly gave me some ideas that would make my closet space more user friendly. Mike Young, the sales rep contacted me very quickly with drawings and pricing. Once I approved the project, they came within a week and completed the entire project in a half of a day. The carpenter was very fast, friendly and he did an outstanding job on the shelf as you can see from the attached photo. It truly looks like it has always been there and that it is a part of the closet. If you are considering a remodel of your master bedroom closet, or any space for that matter, I strongly recommend that you call Booher. And honestly, you might find someone that can do it cheaper, but I can assure you that you will not be getting the same level of quality and service.

The work went as scheduled Very good craftsmanship from all discipling from framers, carpentry, windows, paint, drywalling, ceiling texture artistry and every other crew member involved. Gary managed the whole process and coordinated everyone coming in.

Everyone who worked with us was professional and kept us up to speed on timing. The work was completed to our complete satisfaction.

The Booher people were as professional as they were the first time we had them out to do another home improvement job. I would invite them out again four next job.

The end result was good. We did experience delays and call back due to issue with the trades. Booher was good to make sure every issue was addressed.

Project went smoothly and was done on time. All the workers from tile to painter and electrician were all very friendly, pleasant and tolerant of my yappy dog. Both field managers John & Mark were very helpful and kept me informed of the progress. I am delighted with the end results.

Project took longer than expected; however, they did an excellent job. Good communication throughout. Work was excellent - except on two occasions I needed to inspect the quality of the paint / finish work. Booher took care of the little details and wanted to ensure we were fully satisfied with the work. Overall, I am pleased to have worked with them.

Booher was the only company that understood the problem and was willing to do the work. They presented an estimate and detailed contract. They began work on time and attended to details. They listened to concerns and acted on them immediately.

The entire process with this company has been one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. When I decided to do my basement I selected someone that was a friend of a friend,and that turned out to be a complete train wreck with casualties, however Booher Construction truly saved the day. I first met with Mike Young to discuss the plans for the basement design. Not only did he have some new great ideas, but he also brought in other people to assist in the planning. Booher Construction first corrected the errors that were made by the previous "contractor". The major difference between Booher and other companies is that everyone involved has their specific assignment with respect to your project, and they stick to that. That is, I had someone to work with for billing, ordering of products and questions for anything taking place on-site. I should also point out that I never waited longer than an hour to get a return phone call, email or in-person visit whenever I had a question. The communication between this company and myself was 100% from start to finish. And I can honestly tell you that i had a million questions, and even sent emails at 4A.M., and they were responded to within an hour. Not only was there excellent communication, but also trust, as I had no worries leaving my home while they worked. I would always come home to find that they had cleaned up after themselves, locked up and set my home alarm. I am a professor of criminal justice, so anyone coming into my home always gets a little extra scrutiny, and this company and its employees passed with flying colors. As of today, the job is totally complete and I can tell everyone who reads this that you are making a huge mistake if you consider any other company to do remodeling work for you. I would find it hard to believe that there is a company out there (at least in central Indiana) that is firing on all cylinders like Booher Construction. I am not just saying this because it's my basement, but I can assure you that I now have one of the best looking finished basements I have seen thus far. Booher constructed a beautiful bathroom and shower that looks like something you would see in a magazine. There is also another bedroom, home movie theater and a bar. I should also point out that the attention to detail that John Sartin paid was second to none. What I liked most about him is that he would come in and notice things that I had not seen and then immediately have it addressed, or simply fix it himself. Overseeing my project with Mr. Sartin was Mark Moor. Mark became my primary point of contact and he was the one that i probably bothered the most. But again, he always answered the phone, returned emails and was always here when he said he would be. As you can tell, I cannot say enough great things about this experience, and the work that they have done for me. In fact, I found myself looking over the house to see if there was anything else that needed to be done, just because I know it will be done right. I'm so confident in this company and the way they operate that I am certain that you will not find another company that compares on every level like Booher Construction. I should also thank Angie's List,a s this is where I located this company initially.

Mike Young came out to my house in August, reviewed the scope of work, and provided estimates for two major remodeling projects: one for my master bathroom, master bedroom/closet, and guest bathroom (the "upstairs" effort) and one to finish my currently unfinished basement. Mike asked a lot of questions, went over the vision I had for the space, and had great energy during my interaction. Mike provided a prompt estimate within three weeks of coming to my house. He had communicated an estimated time of delivery of that estimate and followed through. As I had more questions and additions/subtractions to the estimate, Mike was great about communicating quickly and providing detailed explanations. I was very impressed with his professionalism and promptness. I also felt like the estimate was thorough and competitive, compared to the other estimates I had received. I chose a different contractor who has performed extremely well at a family member's house, but were it not for that contractor, I would definitely have gone with Booher and Mike Young. I will absolutely keep them in mind when finishing my basement and recommend them to friends and family.

Gary was project manager from start to finish. He did a fabulous job in spite of some big challenges. Our 1927 home has lots of issues. Gary kept us informed of progress, made sure we were aware of what requirements they were to access; storage of materials and he got everyone to do an A+ job.

Gary, the foreman, was always here checking to make sure things were right. All the guys were on time & great.

Gary and Curtis Poject Mananger were always very responsive and communicated well. Overall very well. We purchased our own supplies and the company worked well with us on that. We had an error by contracted plumbers that caused water to ruin new carpeting. The company promptly made all that right.

Carpenters, plumbers, electricians and site managers were on-time and informative about project and did extra work!!!

From the initial meeting, with the salesman through completion, very professional and clean. Outstanding job. Highly recommended.

Project went well. Problems and/or issues were taken care of in a timely manner. Most workmanship was top notch quality. That which wasn't made top notch was addressed.

Cuates, asst. project manager, was great. Very acceptive and corrected mistakes made by trim crew in a timely manner. Communication between sales rep and people doing the work was not good - definitely an area they need to work on.

The job was done very quickly and the workmanship was good.
