I was quoted an exorbitant price.
Description of Work: I noticed a shingle missing from my roof on saturday morning. I saw Bone Dry putting a new roof on a few houses down from me. I called and asked if someone could come down and put a shingle on for me at their convenience. They did not offer to tell me how much they would charge until I asked. I told them I had a shingle so they would not have to provide one. When I asked their price they told me $225! Obviously I declined. I see other roofers on Angie's List only charge about $100 for putting on a new shingle.

Description of Work: I HAD BONE DRY COME OUT AND GIVE ME AN OVERALL REVIEW OF MY ROOF AND SEE ALSO IF I HAD HAIL DAMAGE. THEY SAID THAT I PROBABLY HAVE FIVE MORE YEARS, AT LEAST, LEFT BEFORE I NEED TO REPLACE IT, AND THAT I DID NOT HAVE HAIL DAMAGE, BUT THAT MY SHINGLES HAVE NOT PERFORMED LIKE THEY SHOULD AND SUGGESTED THAT I CONTACT THE SHINGLE COMPANY TO HELP IN THE COST OF THE REPLACEMENT. THE SHINGLES SHOULD HAVE LASTED A GREAT DEAL LONGER ON MY 12 YEAR OLD HOME. RANDY JUDD HELPED ME BY TAKING OFF TWO OLD SHINGLES AND REPLACING WITH NEW ONES, AND ALSO IN THE PAPER WORK DETAILS. THIS COMPANY HAS REPAIRED SEVERAL LEAKS THAT WE HAVE HAD IN THE PAST, ALSO. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE BONE DRY DO THE REPLACEMENT ROOF. THEIR ESTIMATE FOR THE ROOF REPLACEMENT WAS RIGHT IN LINE WITH TWO OTHER COMPANIES ALSO.
