Bone Dry Roofing

Great service as experienced in the past from Bone Dry Roofing - Indianapolis. Had previously used them for home roof inspection and minor repairs. When it came time to select company for replacement Bone Dry didn't disappoint. Good experience all around starting with sales representative Edward... and great installation crew and job site production supervisor Nick Cuthbertson.

I contacted Bone Dry Roofing based on ratings on Angie's List and I'm disappointed to say that the ratings did not measure up to the performance. After a serve thunderstorm, I had approximately 25 shingles damaged on my roof. I had a insurance inspector examine the damage then contacted Bone Dry Roofing to get an estimate for the work. Their estimate matched that of the insurance adjuster. Thee estimate was emailed to me on June 19, 2017. On June 20, 2017, I signed the contract and emailed it back to Bone Dry Roofing. The estimate stated the work would be completed in 7-10 days and i had been told no one needed to be home for the work since it was all exterior work. I left for a two week vacation on June 24, 2017 and returned July 9, 2017. The work was not completed upon my return. On July 10th I contacted Bone dry Roofing to fine out why the work had not been completed. I was told it had been assigned to Merrill and he would contact me, which he did later that day. We agreed to have the work done on July 17, 2017. July 17th cam and went and no one showed up to do the work. On July 19th I called Bone Dry Roofing and a customer service representative told be there was never anything on the schedule and passed me to the voicemail of Vicki. I left Vicki a voicemail explaining the situation and requesting a call back. No call back came. On July 21st, I called Bone Dry in the morning and asked to speak to a Customer Service Manager. I was put on hold and then the CSR returned and said the Customer Service Manager had promised that Tom, the production manager would be out later in the day to repair my roof. At 4:30 PM when no one had shown up or called, I contact Bone Dry Roofing again and once again asked to speak to a customer service manager. I was again passed to a voicemail, where I explain the ridiculous lack of service and stated I felt Bone Dry Roofing was in violation of the contract since it stated the work would be completed in 7-10 days and now a month had passed. On July 22, 2017, without any prior call Bone Dry Roofing showed up at my house to do the work. The work was completed and I was given $50 off of my $350 estimate for my troubles. Highly disappointed in the service level.

There were several different crews involved due to the varying projects. All were quite professional. They have a very straight forward approach and I never felt as though they were anything but honest. The quality of the work was outstanding. I had used Bone Dry for some previous work and if needed I would not hesitate to use them again.

We will be using them in couple weeks. We decided to go with Bone Dry. They are quite close to what the insurance guy quoted us. They other company is willing to give us a lot of things included in the price, but Bone Dry is going to charge us a little more for certain things. We had to negotiate a few things.

They did an unbelievable job! They were clean and meticulous!

They came to my rescue. I had some sun damage where some siding was ripped off the side of my house. They came in and replaced it and also replaced the piece and also replaced the piece the first company took from my house to match up and never returned. I don't know three or four pieces of my siding at the top of my second story house is what they repaired or replaced. The quality is good. It's still on the side of my house, so that's good, four years later. I think I ended up talking to one of the owners or something who helped me at Bone Dry, who helped me. They took care of me, they were good.

The roofing project went very well. The actually initial process didn't go as expected. There was some issues with the paperwork being misplaced due to an employee leaving the company that was handling the loan process. Once this was all straighten out everything went pretty smoothly. The estimators were very professional. When I didn't want to pay for some expenses that I felt wasn't necessary, the estimator was happy to go over some other options with me to bring the price down. There was some confusion on a chimney removal at one of the properties. In the end the company did not charge me for the removal because the confusion was on their part. I have to say that all of the office personnel that I spoke with were very professional and polite. After all of the initial confusion I spoke of earlier with my paperwork, I have to say Mr Rick Brye went out his way to make sure that any and all of my questions or concerns were handled. Anytime I called Rick he answered his phone, I didn't get a voicemail and only the couple of times I did get voicemail he returned my call promptly. He answered all of my emails promptly. I have used this company in the past and have never been disappointed with the work. Even though their price may be higher than other providers I have to say the quality of the work is excellent. I have used them a few times before and was very happy so this is why I choose them to replace the roof on my three homes. I live out of state and they took pictures to show me the work before and after. My tenants had no complaints about them.

Owner and other gentleman we have worked with have been inordinately professional, knowledgeable and personable. They will be my roofer moving forward!!

The contractor realized, at the end of the roof job, that a piece of rotten trim should have been changed and offered to do so (for an extra fee) another day. The contractor came back to fix the rotten trim and charged me as if it were a new job rather than a continuation of the roof work. I tried to resolve the issue with the manager, but didn't get a response despite I contacted him many times.

Everything appears fine. The true test will be the next driving rain from the south!!

Roof vent repaired and Chimney repair to be scheduled.

Sales rep was very good and responsive. Problems started giving them approval to start after giving aprroval to start was about 2 months, because their giuy who wprked with our insurance company was off for an extented time. Shingles delivered and placed so garage could not be used, we request them be placed lower in driveway. Roofer were not told about sun tunnel install, so they had to call and verify install. Rest of roofing went find. Then came the gutters. Didn't show up 3 times as scheduled on non rainy days and didn't call either. We had to keep calling to find out why no one showed. Once they said they were on the way and didnt show for a.couplr hours. When they did show up couldn't finish job because they didn't have the right tools. Ask to call before they came so insure the dogs were secure for everyones safety and because on of the dogs had a heart condition. Responsed with no problem they would call. Couple days later I came home to discover job was finished but no call was received. But their trash was on the side of the house. They left screws, clips and metal scraps all over. Have had to use some of the screws to attach downspouts to drainage system because they weren't none at install, also had to purchase extra pieces to extent downspouts to reach. Still waiting to sign off that their work was completed. Talked to salesman about issues. He stated to email the owner and let him know about the issues and he would probably contact us about the problems. We did and still have not heard anything from anyone.

All contacts with Bone Dry were extremely professional, They provided an estimate to my insurer and worked with the adjuster to get us fair compensation for the wind damaged roof. They provided us addresses to look at shingle styles and colors to make decisions on what to install. The crew arrived at the scheduled time, worked about 12.5 hours and had the job completed in a single day. They protected our landscape and house from damage while working. The cost was not the cheapest available, but the service and quality of the work was worth the added expense. This was a great experience.

They looked over the whole roof and even went into attic. Determined that there was no damage. Did not charge for the trip, even though I asked what the inspections fee would be. The fact that they did not try to sell me a roof I didn't need says a lot about their ethics. I would hire them again.

They have replaced our roof over 40 years. I have called them out when something looked strange on the roof. They came right out, climbed up on the roof and told me all was okay. They did not charge me a cent. I can count on them to be very honest.

Performance was as expected. Some delay in starting project due to BD heavy schedule.

It was one of those wood chimneys. They had to redo the siding on that actually.They put a cap on the chimney, and they redid the siding going up to the chimney.They redid that whole structure.They did a beautiful job on it.The only flaw with it was they weren't as clear on the pricing issues, breaking it down so we really knew what we were paying for.They didn't overcharge, but they didn't make it clear what the charges were.I think it was fair.They did high-quality work, so it wasn't a cheap job.I think it was an A job, even today I'm looking up through the sky light and it looks perfect. I think on the responsibility they get a B, they were not perfect on that.They sorta disappeared and we didn't know whether they were going to do it and then they showed up and did it. So everything was a lapse in between.You have to kinda stay on them a little because they didn't make it clear they were coming back even to do the job. We didn't know exactly when they got here what they were going to do.That part they didn't do so well.I would say punctuality and kinda like being clear about things they weren't perfect at. But the work was good.I think they did very good work.I'm considering using them later in the year.

First, they sent someone to review the siding/roofing to see if we had any moisture damage. The contractor was nice and told us we would need someone from their paint department to come give an estimate. They came about two weeks later and told us they would work with the original siding guy to get an estimate to us ASAP. A week later, I called back and asked where the estimate was and was this normal that it took this long for them to send it to me? The woman on the phone said no, it's not normal and they'd get it back to me ASAP. A week later, I called back and said I still haven't received anything and that this is my last attempt to get a response. She put me on hold, called someone and said that he would be calling me back later that day with all the details. I heard nothing. Four days later, I finally got a call from someone who said that the reason for the delay is that they needed to do a lead test yet 1) had never tried to schedule that and 2) at this point we have wasted 2 weeks with no estimate, no communication despite my many attempts. I told him "I am going to stop you there and let you know I found another company who was able to get me and estimate in the same day and I ..." at that point he interrupted me and told me good luck and just about hung up on me. I was trying to explain how frustrating it was and he cut me off and got off the phone which I found extremely unprofessional. This organization knew I found them on Angie's List, I made it very easy for them to work with me and even reminded them twice of my expectations. I am glad that I never hired them as they seem unresponsive, disorganized and unprofessional.

The person that did the estimte was just a nice person and the price was reasonable.

Pricing was comparable to other contractors. They were able to get out quickly (despite being peak rain season) and had no issues after the repair was made. Easy to communicate with, almost always got back to me within the hour via email. Couldn't have been easier to pay online after service was performed.

Shingles are on and lasted through last storm! Appreciate their honesty about condition of roof.

Ryan, a representative of Bond Dry Inc., arrived at my residence to inspect my roof for hail damage. This appointment was made at the recommendation of another Bone Dry Inc. representative who was here inspecting my chimney and saw hail damage. So Ryan arrived on time and was very pleasant. After his inspection he advised it was worth contacting my insurance agent and submit a claim. He advised me that one of Bone Dry Inc. roofing representatives would meet the insurance adjuster on site to go over what he had found. I made the appointments with both adjuster and Bone Dry Inc. and on the day of the appointment Bone Dry failed to send anyone. No phone call and after my calling to ask what happen, I'm told they forgot to call me. I'm on the phone on hold waiting for a resolution to the problem while the adjuster is patiently waiting. I was left on hold for a total of 20 minutes. I finally just hung up. I only called my insurance agency at Bone Dry's suggestion and they never showed and never called. The Bone Dry Inc. manager was standing by the receptionist and would not come on the line to offer an apology or to tell me what the next step was in relation to my roof and their statement that I had hail damage. This just occurred and I'm typing this right after the incident. We'll see if they ever follow up with me or the insurance adjustor. But as of right now, I will not use Bone Dry Inc. in the future.

Everything went as promised. A little hiccup towards the end, but company was very responsive. Nick Peppler was awesome.
