Description of Work: I had Baptist Heating and Air come out to give me an estimate for a new AC unit. The owner of Baptist Heating and Air was the one doing the estimate. He determined the blower motor was bad and I had the blower motor and thermostat changed instead of replacing the AC unit.

Description of Work: I called these folks to give me a second opinion/quote on replacing my heat pump. Another vendor told me it needed to be replaced immediately. Baptist told me it didn't need to be replaced AT ALL!! They saved me thousands of dollars! I had them give me a quote and it was $1300 less than the other vendor for a more efficient heat pump!! When I do need a new unit -- these are the people I will call!!!!

Description of Work: Lets start out by saying I had one company out that advised I talk to their sales team about getting a new furnace out before they would try to fix it. That company told me I would spend about 3-4000. just fixing my current furnace then suggested we buy a $12,000. 97% High Efficiency furnace. I immidiately asked a friend if that sounded right and he referred me to Baptist Heating & Air. This was a great experience!!!! The technician came out within 3 hours of my call as I told him that we were without a furnace for 2 days. He found the cause of the problem and fixed it promptly. I believe the $327 compared to the $12,000 that Service Masters was trying to get me to spend was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Baptist Heating and Air for not trying to pull a fast one and rip off the consumer. I will definatly use again for all my heating and air conditioning needs.

 + -1 moreWe have been sticking with them for a while. It is really hard to find the size for our furnace filters, so they order for us a lot and bring it with them. He goes out of his way. The cost depends on what they are doing. They are extremely honest. They usually make it a point to fit us in if we needed to be squeezed in for something that is urgent. They say they charge you extra if it is on a weekend, but they don't always do that. They are really reasonable and they are really nice about it. They are really nice honest guys. I really trust them. I don't think they are going to take advantage of me or anything like that.

 + -1 moreMy husband called Baptist(we've used them before) and asked for someone to come check out our A/C because it had been acting up and the weather was incredibly hot. Rob came out within the hour and took care of it. We keep using them because they're great! The price is great, the service is great, and those guys are so honest and easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend them!!!

 + -1 moreHe arrived at the house and installed a condensate pump for my A/C allowing me to remove many feet of drain pipe that was there when I bought the house and was always getting plugged up. He installed the pump and hooked into the drain system to pump the condensation outside. He also checked and cleaned the furnace as well. We asked him if he could look at the humidifier while he was there. He said the pad needed to be replaced since it had become hard from mineral deposits. He left to go get a new one. Our humidifier was pretty old and they didn't have any new ones in stock, but he was able to find a used one which still in good shape and he gave us a discount on it. During the install of the condensate pump, one of the drain caps broke on one of my pipes. He made a temporary fix, since it was late in the day and snowing heavily, until he could come back to fix it. He came back within a few days, after the snow cleared, and fixed the pipes. We didn't pay until he came back and fixed the pipes. The technician was very friendly and helpful and willing to answer all of your questions.
Description of Work: Baptist put in a condensate pump for my A/C and checked and cleaned my furnace. They also changed the pad on my furnace humidifier.
