I called B & W at 8 am. By 11 am, Dave was at our house, working. He quickly figured out the problems and and completed the work. Later, I noticed that Dave had even drug my garbage cans in from the curb for me! Thanks Dave! Dave gave me a discounted price without me having to ask for the Angie's List discount. Dave then gave me some tips to avoid frozen water pipes in the future.

They were pleasant and accommodating when I called for an appointment. They showed up on time, were helpful and courteous. They answered all of my questions. The drain was cleared and is working fine. They quoted for a new sump pump, but I will do that myself. I would use them again.

Very happy with experience. Called several companies on a Saturday morning. B&W was most competitive. Several places were not open/available for weekend installation. My only complaint is the first quote I got was about $200 cheaper. I got a call back, and they said that model was no longer available. I felt it was a little of bait & switch, but still overall I am happy. They even worked on toilet that continued to run for no charge.

This was an unusual request that an experienced plumber had never done before. Despite this, the plumber, Ray McClanahan, handled the job beautifully. He worked diligently and only stopped to ask questions or if I had directions. He also cleaned out the drain and had to replace parts. The job took hours and I intend to have him, in particular, to come back and clean more basement drains and the house main drain. Eventually I will replace galvanized plumbing to copper and he is the man I'm going to ask for. Don't be afraid to ask this company to do unusual things, they will do it as long as it meets plumbing codes. They came the same day I called them, in the past I've used them and if a mistake is made they have fixed it promptly.

We purchased an American Standard 80%, 2-stage, down flow gas furnace from B & W when our old furnace needed yet another costly repair. The price included the furnace & installation. It keeps us warm & utility bills are a bit lower. B & W recommended a mid-range price furnace as the best option for our size house (1600 square feet). We are happy with the unit & the work performed!

Excellent experience! We called thinking the pipe would need replaced & it was actually a simple, low-cost fix (tightening/moving a couple of things). They came same-day & only charged us for the visit since no actual "repairs" were made!!

The plumber responded within about 3 hours after calling. He phoned while on the way to be sure we were ready for him. The job was more difficult than expected because some parts were defective. He had the necessary parts and did a good job. He was careful not to track in, and he reminded us of the Angie's List coupon on the website. This was a job I started and got into difficulty, and he was quite willing to complete it. It was difficult for him too, but he didn't complain.

John arrived on time and did the work efficiently. He was given the wrong parts (a handle and shower head) so he had to return at the end of the job to pick up the correct ones. He was very considerate in finding a time that would not in me but would allow me to have the shower complete the same day (if needed). The shower floor was left messier than I expected, with papery bits (insulation?) as well as bits of plaster. The access panel, (for some reason) had been sealed to the closet wall with the drywall compound AND screwed in by the previous plumber (from a different company) which left a messy hole and cracks that needed to be removed. I think John could ve removed the panel, or if nothing else he should have informed me about the problem so I wouldn t be surprised to see it later that night. Also the Delta shower heads have a setting called waterfall that is really more like spit. What s a waterfall from the second low-flow shower head series?

I bought an old home and wasn't sure about the status of the Heating and Cooling unit in the home. I called B&W to have them come out and show me how everything worked on the unit and to perform maintenance. The representative that came out was engaging. He showed me a lot of things about my heating unit and gave me advice about how to care for it. B&W allows you to prepay your maintenance for the year at a discount. This year, I forgot to return their call regarding A/C maintenance so it wasn't performed. Figuring I just lost the investment in the prepaid maintenance I called them to go ahead and schedule heating maintenance for the year. Without my asking they volunteered to use my A/C maintenance credit for maintenance on the heating unit. I was impressed with the integrity that the company showed!

I had several drains that were clogged and backed into my tub. The plumber quickly diagnosed the problem under my house and cleaned out all of my drains. He was very friendly and courteous, giving me an estimate before starting the work. He forgot to return the cover on the crawl space but came back quickly after I called to put it back on. I would highly recommend them. They are the only plumbers I ever call.

Service personnel both at the office and in the field were very polite and professional. The company has a policy of calling ahead 30. mins. prior to technician arriving which I find very helpful. As far as pricing is concerned, I regrettably have limited to no experience with services for A/C and Heating units to compare.

After waking up to a wet floor and the sound of spraying water on a Saturday morning, we immediately turned to Angie's list to find a plumber to fix a leaking pipe in our main bathroom. We called B& W at 9:15 AM, and we were advised that they would have a crew free around 11:00. At 11:35, we received a phone call from Dave that he was on his way, and he arrived at 11:55. We were really concerned that he would have to get into the wall to fix the problem, but the tech was able to skillfully unscrew the corroded pipe and valve from the copper pipe without it breaking and had us leak free in less than 45 minutes without having to cut into our wall. They also did not charge us an overtime charge for work on Saturday. We now have B&W Plumbing in our rolodex for future reference.

I discovered a leaking pipe 2 days after closing on a home. I called B&W and they were able to come out the same day and fix it. The repair man also offered to look at the rest of my plumbing while he was there (no charge). He found two problems that my home inspector missed.

No problem was found, but the toilet has not backed up since the work was performed (3 weeks ago). The representative was here on time and very professional. They gave me some good ideas if the problem continued.

I spoke to receptionist at approximately 10am, who was very friendly and indicated that a plumber, Dave McD. would be at my house around 1p. I indicated not to call as I would definitely be home doing yard work. At 3:25p, I phoned B&W noting no plumber had shown. I was told they would get right back to me with reason. I received no return call indicating reason for lateness and had to leave my house at 4:45p. At 5:30p a plumber (Bryan #81) showed and left a voice mail and card on my door.

They were very good. I'm so glad we didn't have to cut the ceiling!

Pipe was broken accidentaly on a Saturday afternoon. David McDonough was the repairman. Did an excellent job and was timely.

Randy was on time and very detailed in his explanations. I can't comment on the pricing as I've not needed significant plumbing work done in the past, but the work was done on time, and the new faucet works well. Unfortunately, my sink suffered a minor chip during the faucet removal process due to how aggressive the removal needed to be secondary to the extensive rusting. I think that's within the boundaries of reasonable care. All in all, I'm happy with the work, and I'd call them again if I had other work.

I met plumber Brian at the house and showed him the leak. He examined the tank and noted that the 4-year well tank had a hole in it, and needed to be replaced. I returned to work and after picking up a new tank, Brian finished the job later that same day.

Dave the plumber was prompt and courteous. He explained what he was doing at each step of the way. He solved all three plumbing problems quickly and efficiently.

My pressure Kohler toilet's base broke and had to be replaced. The people at B&W said they have had many bad experiences with pressure toilets (although mine worked fine) and said they were reluctant to put one in. I did an Internet search and found a consumer report that verified completely what they told me. There were many, many reports of exploding toilets and poor performance. I decided to go ahead with a high-performance ToTo flush toilet. B&W came out quickly and did and excellant job. The plumber was very courteous, professional and clean. I am very happy with the new toilet and I am grateful for the good advice on staying away from "lemon" or even dangerous toilets.
