Two plumbers came to fix the drain. They easily found the problem, brought in heavy equipment, and unstuck the clog. The whole process took about fifteen minutes. Considering the cost of the process, it would have been nice if they had removed the sludge that had been stirred up--it was left behind at the site of the drain and we were advised to clean it up carefully (read: don't try to wash it down), lest it plug up the drain again.

I thought the estimates to do the work were pretty high: $450 to remove old kitchen sink and install new sink and faucet, remove and reinstall the disposer. This was for time only, I provided all of the materials. $650 to install a gas line (time and materials), $450 if I did some of the prep work for the line myself. When I called I assumed I would be paying by the hour, not a fee for each job (install faucet quoted at $178). The plumber they sent seemed knowledgeable about plumbing, but he was very arrogant and had nothing but negative things to say, even calling the $300 faucet we chose "junk". He didn't seem at all interested in doing the job. I ended up getting my handyman to install the sink, faucet, disposer for $125 and another plumber to do the gas line for $400.

I have a service contract with them. They come out twice a year.

The scheduler was able to write me in as the first appointment of the day so that I didn't lose much time away from work; a great thing! Even though the repairman was afraid of what he would find, the fix ended up being a simple replacement part. Apparently Price Pfister garden tub faucets can sometimes be difficult to replace parts, but not in this case. He did, however, forget to give me an estimate before the work.

After receiving a quote from another company for $495, I called B & W. The representative (who showed up) quoted me $165 to clear the pipe. After clearing the pipe out, he still encountered issues and checked out the septic tank which turned out to be a major contributor to the problem. In addition to clearing the main pipe, he also dug to the septic tank and checked the level confirming that it was the problem. The representative was very polite, explained the problem thoroughly when asked and cleaned up after himself.

Randy was prompt and completed the work in a couple hours. He discovered a large root in the water meter when he went to turn off the water. He was efficient in replacing the faulty valves.

I was use them again. They were excellent punctual. They are clean cut and professional. It was a pleasure to work work them.

It went very well. I stupidly broke the valve trying to get the old bonnet off. I called and John said he could do it that night, but said if I could wait till morning it would save $200. So, he came in the morning as promised (earlier than expected by the way) he got right down to it. He had to cut two holes in the wall because of a doorway, but offered some solutions to try to fix it. John was very personable and fun to talk to. He did great work and was very professional.

Everything went great. B&W called to setup a time frame for the appointment (2 hour window was provided). The repairman called prior to arriving, showed up within the 2 hour window, repaired the shower, explained the problem and completed the work in 30 minutes.

The entire process was pleasant from beginning to end. Bill initially came out to quote my project. He was very open and honest. I received my quote in the mail a few days later. Fixtures were selected, contract was signed, and all was ready to go in a very short amount of time. The gentlemen who came out to do the replacement were very professional. Extreme care was taken to put down canvas tarps so no damage was done to my carpet. The employees took the time to talk with me and explain what was being done. They cleaned up everything when they were done. The project was completed in three days (humidity made caused the drywall to dry slowly). When I had a concern about noise from the unit, the employees checked it out and let me know what it was. I would recommend this company to anyone. I'm extremely satisfied with the interactions and the product.

Unfortunately, when the pipes thawed, the water main broke at the meter and flooded the street. He had a hard time getting it shut off. We called the water company about 11 a.m. but even after repeated calls, the water company didn't come out until 11 pm that night. By that time, the pipe had refrozen and the water company insisted that I have the plumber come back out to re-thaw. I called B&W back and a very nice workman came out at midnight, re-thawed the pipe and waited in his truck in freezing weather until the water company came back to replace the meter. He was excellent and went way out of his way to be helpful. B&W did not even charge me for the second visit.

I was very pleased with the work done. I was unable to be at my home when the service was completed; however, my mother was present and she was pleased with the way everything was handled. The plumber (he didn't leave his name on the work order) who came out showed up on time, gave a reasonable estimate by phone, completed the work, and called me back to bill me after the work was completed. They were professional, did a satisfying job, and were flexible with the way the billing was handled. I returned home and was very pleased with the outcome.

Our sump pump quit in the middle of the worst rain of the season, flooding our basement. B & W had a serviceman at our house within an hour. He made some adjustments and told us how to keep it going. When it went out again a couple of days later, the same serviceman came out and replaced it. B & W gave us a credit for the prior work since it didn't solve the problem. We were very happy with the quality and timeliness overall.

Randy was straightforward about guessing/determining the water pressure problems and used a logical method of deducing the trouble spot. All work was competently completed with no leaks the next day! I initially tried to schedule the appointment on their web site -- which wasn't working. They came the day after I called on the phone.

The gentleman who came was great to work with once he arrived. He helped me understand what the problems were and he discounted the work. He also recommended that I replace galvanized pipes in my 1938 home and gave a formal estimate for that work (app. $2500). I was a bit frustrated by the scheduling. I'd been told that someone would come in the early afternoon and had heard nothing more by 3:00 when I called the company to ask what was happening. I received a call back that the truck was in the shop and they'd be there ASAP, which ended up being almost 4:00 (which I do not consider to be the early afternoon). Unfortunately, this turned out to be a case of "waiting around all day for the plumber," so I was especially glad that the work itself went well.

The plumber arrived on time, was courteous and friendly. He was very professional and we were very pleased with the work we had done.

I was very pleased with this company. I called on Monday with a busted pipe and they were out the next day to fix it. They even provided me with two options to consider. They arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and completed the work in a timely manner.

I couldn't have been more pleased or grateful for the very quick response. No real damage occurred. I have used B&W in the past and will continue to call them in the future.

We ordered two sinks from a local supplier & two faucet sets from the Internet. Once we had them, B&W promptly responded to our request to install them in our two, 1930s-era bathrooms. Their representative, Mark, arrived about noon & worked hard for the next 5 hours to install the sinks & faucets on our bathroom walls. I was especially impressed with the way Mark met every challenge (and there were many) to provide us usable sinks without damaging the walls (one plaster, the other tile) on which they were installed. To accomplish this, he had to replace the existing water connections with smaller ones, adapt the new trap to the main drain pipe without damaging the line or the wall, mount a new wall bracket on tile without cracking it, & use a drain-cleaning machine on the pipe. Thank you Randy for your persistence & adaptability. You did a magnificent job!

Gave us a few options on what it could be. Checked the shower and tub but couldn't tell without cutting a hole. After making a small hole in the pantry ceiling, determined it was the tub overflow. He sealed everything up and we are good to go.

B&W were prompt and efficient. The sink works well now.

The experience went pretty well. I was surprised about the cost of the repair, considering it is such a common repair. I was hardly in any mood to argue, considering we were running solely on the furnace. Everyone was very professional, and quality work was given. I have used B&W for all service and repairs over the last few years and have been very satisfied.

I called on Saturday for a non-emergency job and they scheduled Mark to come out early Monday. I got a call early Monday that he was on his way over. When he got here he quickly fixed the problem. I am extremely happy with the work Mark did.

They did an excellent job as usual. They are always meeting or exceeding your expectations!
