 + -1 moreOur plumber did an excellent job, he was on time, explained the process and finished in a timely manner. He was able to clean most of the debris up from the work, but was limited in how the floor could be cleaned due to the drying cement around the new and enlarged pit. I did have to mop up a substantial amount of dirt and mud, but I also had to wait for the cement to dry. They were very helpful at looking at different pricing models to keep cost down and offered other alternatives to preserve outside landscaping. I was very pleased with the work and will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Enlarged sump pump pit, installed newer sump pump, fixed and installed new drainage pipe.

 + -1 moreHe called twenty minutes before arrival, arrived at the time he specified. He knew exactly what was required had the parts in his truck and proceeded with his work professionally. The job was completed in 45 minutes. We are pleased with the service and the results. The initial price was good and we received a senior discount from it.
Description of Work: The valve on our Moen main bathroom shower had deteriorated over thirty some years to the point it would no longer shut off. Brian, the plumber replaced the valve insert and all is well.

drain cleaning
 + -1 moreOverall it went well and eventually everything got cleared out. The situation was a little frustrating, but everyone at B & W was very professional and helpful. They were quick to come back out and get things fixed.
Description of Work: Call placed to fix slow kitchen drain and bathroom drain slow and toilet to overflow level. Work completed, removed toilet, snaked the pipe, replaced toilet. Went to kitchen, snaked drain and put in new insinkerator garbage disposal. Worked for 3 weeks. 9/27, clothes washer backed up into shower, tub, toilets to overflow level, kitchen sink backing up. Called for Emergency help (Saturday), they had Plumber Dave there in about 1.5 hours. Next step cleaned drain from exterior pipe. Worked for 4 days - kitchen sink backed up again. Plumber Dave came back out and snaked the kitchen sink one more time. B & W did very well. Plumber Dave did guarantee his work on 9/27, so when they came back out on 10/2, there was no charge. All seems to be running well now. Even though it took a few times to get the clog, everyone at B&W was very professional and prompt. Plumber Dave was good at explaining what he was doing, and why he had to come back. Also Dave is good at giving preventative advice and tips.

 + 0 morePlumber Dave was awesome. He's really nice, charged a really reasonable rate for coming out both times, and got the job done really quickly. We have since used them for service on our air conditioning, and those guys have also been extremely nice and professional. I have to say that the air conditioning guy was a couple of hours late and no one called to tell us when he would be there. He later informed us it was due to an emergency call.
Description of Work: The first time Plumber Dave came out, it was to service our washing machine and check on a couple of toilets that clogged frequently in our new house. He gave us several options which ranged in cost for what to do to fix the problem. The cost reflected above reflects both the service call and the installation of two new toilets, with the Angie's List discount taken off.

 + -1 moreMy faucet was leaking all over my counter and in the cabinet under the sink. My faucet also had a drip that I couldn't stop. I thought it was going to be a major problem. Turns out the o-ring in the faucet was bad which caused the water to come out the top of the faucet base and spill onto the counter and behind the cabinet. He replaced the o-ring and verified that nothing else was leaking. He didn't have the parts needed to fix the faucet drip. He said it was easy to fix, I could do it on my own; instead of him charging me a fortune to go to the store, buy the parts and return to install them. Randy was very pleasant, on time and performed the work quickly. He even helped me clean the lime deposits around the faucet when it was taken apart. The price was great since they offer so many coupons both on this site and their own site. I got a total of $35 off! I am very happy with the service and will definitely call them again.

Description of Work: They had to come out 2 times. Replaced the main house water valve the first time out.
