I called B&W because two of our toilets kept overflowing. They came the same day and replaced flapper and overflow tube in two toilets. While doing that, the plumber broke the water valve on one of the toilets and then had to replace it. I was charged $300 for the new water valve. Toilet is still overflowing so am now replacing the entire toilet.

Excellent, we highly recommend. I called B&W around 9:00 am. I talked to the friendliest office manager who told me she could send a person out that morning. Within 15 minutes, we received a call for a technician. He was at our house 15 minutes later. He was super nice and thorough.

The technician arrived on time and got to work immediately. After going outside to clean the condensor unit, he came back and told me the outside spigot was leaking badly. I knew that it was but didn't know how to fix it. He told me how I could fix it for $20-30 vs hiring a plumber which he said would cost at least $200. I appreciated that advice. He also taped it up for me so that it will give better water pressure until I do get it fixed.

I called around 9:00 am and explained the couple of items I was wanting to have repaired. I expected it might be a couple of days before someone could come out since it wasn't an emergency. They indicated they would have someone here today and a repairman was onsite by 10:30!

My air conditioner stopped working on the friday before Memorial Day weekend. I called around and the earliest I could get someone to come out was the following tuesday. Because of vacation plans we weren't going to be home on tuesday and I didn't want to leave for two weeks and have my house become a boiler We had used B & W in the past for plumbing work so in desperation I called them and to my surprise they have Saturday hours and fit me in to their schedule. Mike Thomas from B&W called around noon on saturday and said he was running a little late but would be here as soon as possible. He got here around 4pm, replaced a bad capacitor and we were cool as clams by 6pm. When we told Mike that we had found them on Angie's List he told us about the $25. off coupon and said be sure to call his office to take advantage of it. These guys did a great job. Five stars for saturday hours & great service.

We have used B&W Heating & Air Conditioning services for many years, and have been very satisfied. The serviceman today was especially helpful, courteous, and efficient.

Found a huge water leak in my garage after taking a cold shower. I called B & W and they agreed to be there as quickly as I could be as I had to go to work for a couple of hours. He was there and had the water heater replaced within a couple of hours.

This unit was put in our home by B & W plumbing and Heating in 2004. We were told at that time that the unit had a 10 year warranty. There was no mention that we had to have a service call every year for the warranty to remain in place. When I called this morning to ask for this service call, I was told the unit was still under warranty. When they came to fix the unit, I was told that the unit was not under warranty because we had not done a yearly service on it. I said that no one had mentioned that before and they had fixed the unit before without the yearly service call. I was told by the worker that it was in fine print on my original agreement and usually was not told to the customer so that "they wouldn't have to pay to fix things." When I asked who made the decision as to whether it was warrantied or not, he said that it was his decision. When I objected, he listed several reasons why he would not warranty units and he needed to look at it. After he inspected the unit, I was told that I would be charged the amount to fix it as it was something that would have been caught in a service call. When he was taking my check he told me that it was not his decision but his boss' to charge us for the call. I feel that we were cheated out of a full 10 year warranty and should not have had to pay since that was not in the "verbal agreement" that I had with the B & W contractors that installed the unit. We will not be using this company again for our plumbing or heating/cooling needs. I would caution anyone considering them to read the fine print of anything they sign, especially on high cost jobs!

Scott was very informative showing us what happened and what he needed to do to fix the matter. He was on time and very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He presented a good appearance and fixed the problem. Above price is with the $25 Angies List coupon. Original price $156. Only concern was that he did not actually check to make sure there was no leakage under the bathroom sink once his work was finished.

I forgot plumbers name, sorry. I explained the problem he looked around and reported that the pump was unplugged. (My renter said she unplugged it to plug in her wetvac).Anyhow, he checked all the pipes for blockages/obstructions, checked the pump to make sure it was working, said float could be sticking, explained that I should put some degreaser in the pit. I was very impressed with his attitude and helpfulness. He also gave me a 10% discount and let me use the $25 coupon from Angies List. Price was very very reasonable.

im very happy with tech and the quick work he did replacing tank in cramped,dark space.i thought the price was high,BUT,i agreed to price before work was started. tech stayed and trouble shot a clogged filter.no change in price in the middle of the job. he did a better job in a couple hours than i could have done all day and frankly i didnt WANT to do it.i wouldnt do it for that price. i dont feel someone should have to spend a whole day on a job to "earn their money"..if you have the skills to do job quickly..use them,which this tech did. i am happy with results and would recommend this company. finally i would say..if you dont want to do it yourself pay the price and stay out of the way.

Office personnel were very professional and courteous. The plumber was very professional and courteous. He explained what was needed. He didn't try to sell me on the most expensive disposal -- he recommended a more economical unit. However, he did discuss the advantages of the more expensive disposals.

I then called around to 5 different plumbers or so and went with the least expensive one but one who was highly regarded on Angie's List. I got the work done for significantly less than the $280 + $93 I was quoted by B & W. However, I was impressed overall with B & W and wouldn't hesitate to consider using them again.

I called about 10:30am, and it was fixed by 12 noon! The plumber was neat, clean, very nice and informative. Had a great experience and most importantly, my sink is now usable!

Three weeks earlier a new sink had been installed and plumbed by another company. It didn't look great and the sink gurgled, but I am no plumber. On the morning of March 25th, I began rinsing breakfast dishes only to see the water running out of my cabinet below. Two of the pipes below the sink were no longer attached. After reading reviews on Angie's List, I called B & W Plumbing and Heating. It was about 7:30ish in the morning. They committed to having someone here by 8:15am (Speedway to Danville). Not only was he on time, but he was professional, experienced and thorough, assuring me he would remedy he situation even though the original plumbing was sketchy. He noted that one of the sink drain baskets needed replaced because it, too, was broken. The other one was okay, but very much off center. We had him replace both baskets and all looks great! Ours is a triple sink with the smallest of sinks and garbage disposal in the center which creates complications for plumbing when there is only one drain going out. B&W explained everything and gave me options for repair. Their service, responsiveness, and quality (with warranty) are impeccable. I hope I don't need a plumber any time soon, but when I do I know who to call.

Overall was great from start to finish. Very prompt service. From initial call, to project completion was 3 hours and 15 minutes. Plumber Dave inspected the old pump, provided an explanation and cost estimate of replacing the new pump and installed the new pump in less than one hour.

The work went exceptionally well. No problems encountered with the replacement. We have used B&W many times before and will continue to use them for our plumbing as well as our heating needs.

This is the second time the pit had been leaking. The first time I had tried someone else. It had been an issue for 4 months. After I called B&W it was fixed in 4 days. I didn't have to argue with the phone company, or coordinate several different services to come out and help. B&W took care of everything, and for a lot less than I had quotes for.
