The installation went very smooth without any problems. The plumber professionally explained all the needed steps for the repair. I also received a $25 discount for being a member of Angie's list. The plumber arrived at the promised time. I was very pleased with the overall customer experience.

The serviceman was prompt and friendly and he worked efficiently. There was a lot of cleaning to do because we have two large long-haired pets and a short-haired pet.

On the positive end, they came quickly. On the negative side, they tried a bit to open the line, but then said that it was too bad. I called another company and they had no problem getting the line open and they charged 1/3 less.

We had a sewage backup in our basement bathroom indicating blocked main sewer pipe somewhere. Called B&W at around 7pm on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Also called several other companies from Angie's List and Dave from B&W was the only one to call us back. He asked some investigative questions to try and diagnose what kind of problem it was, and showed up 45 mins later. "Plumber Dave" was very friendly and professional. Started by walking the yard and street to try and find sewer manhole cover without definitive success. Based on predicted location, he didn't have a longer enough snake on his sewer machine so offered to come back in the morning with the right equipment and with a better chance at finding the manhole cover in daylight. Called at 8am Sunday morning, and said he was on his way. In daylight was able to find the manhole (in someone's yard across the street), but now it was raining so couldn't run his machine outside in the rain (electrical hazard), so opted to run from inside the basement bathroom. Was very careful in bringing his equipment into the basement, and laid out dropcloths where he would be working. Unfortunately was still unsuccessful at clearing the blockage because he was limited to a small cutting head due to starting from the bathroom. DId pull back a lot of small roots indicating the source of the problem. Basically we have old clay pipe running to the main sewer pipe outside the house, and that type of pipe is notorious for problems with tree roots. Recommended we get a clean-out installed in the yard to enable a much bigger, more effective root removal. To assist in that he ran a camera with a locator down the pipe and identified the location of the blockage under the front yard. Although we still have the same piumbing problem that we had when we started out, we do have a lot more information and know what we need to do to solve the problem. Dave gave it his best shot to solve our problem on a Sunday, and it was circumstances beyond his control that caused that to be unsuccessful. Dave gave us a good price for his time and efforts, and was professional throughout. We would give them our business again.

Came out same day as called. Went under house into crawl space. Found check valve was stuck due to debris. He replaced check valve and cleaned both sump pump pits(we have 2 sump pumps) to prevent from reoccurring.

For the most part, very good. Company lived up to its reputation. It showed up on time, price was reasonable and I felt like they were honest. Two minor complaints: 1) We have noticed that while the water pressure if better in most of the house (i.e. shower), it has gotten worse in the kitchen sink. The problem may not be related, but we may have to call them back out. 2) I'm a non-smoker and the guy that showed up just reeked of cigarette smoke. He did a good job and had no problems personally, but it was hard to get close to him.

Everything went fine. I left a message with the answering service about 6:30 a.m. The office called me about 7:45 a.m. The serviceman arrived around 9 a.m. and was out around 11:15 a.m.

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable.

The problems were all taken care of to my satisfaction.

After calling around 7:30 on a Saturday, they first took a message and then called right back to tell me someone could be there around 10:00AM. They called 30 minutes away and arrived on time. It was determined fairly quickly I needed a new hot water heater since mine was 10 years old and not the best brand for reasonable priced and convenient replacement parts. While a new one was brought to my house, the old one was removed and the area cleaned up. A new one was put in and all my annoying questions answered. I like the 6 year warranty on parts and labor which is nice. Also was able to use Angie's List coupon, every little bit helps.

Scott the service tech called to let us know when to expect him. He was on time, friendly, and very customer-oriented. He performed the fall inspection and helped us renew our annual service contract. Excellent service from B & W as we've come to expect.

Bill was on time performed required maintenance. No complaints.

This last call was not an emergency but they responded that morning within about 1.5-2. hours and were extremely fair about the pricing.

Went very well, got a brand new sump pump at 11:00 at night for a very reasonable price.

Call around 8:00AM and they said someone would show up between 10:00AM and noon. Received a call at 9:00AM saying he would arrive in 45 minutes. He arrived about 10:15AM, diagnosed the problem, gave a price, and finished the work in about an hour.

They did an excellent job. The staff was very competent and friendly. They were also very concerned about making sure they did not bring any debris into my home.

The pilot light on the water heater would not stay on due to accumulation of rust around the burner assembly. Assembly was cleaned and burner function improved. The plumber said that the water heater will likely need to be replaced soon and he will check on warranty of the heater. Very friendly and professional, although he did leave behind dirt, rust and a small water puddle on the concrete floor that I had to clean.

The gentleman from B&W arrived earlier than scheduled. He was polite, professional, and punctual. He completed the work in under one hour. It is a pleasure to do business with B&W.

I called the night we lost our A/C. Received call back within 15 minutes or so. Guy said it would cost overtime. Told him I thought motor was load and had seized. He thought it might be the compressor. Serviceman arrived around 10:30 AM. Found wires had fallen into motor and shorted out. Fixed quickly and charged $ 150. Nice guy and seemed honest.

I was very pleased that B&W was able to offer me a next day service call, even though this was not a plumbing emergency. On the day of the appointment, Randy the plumber called ahead to ask if we were ready for him, and arrived on time at 9AM. When he saw the outdoor faucet, he said that the only thing wrong with the faucet might be the cracked plastic handle. He said he'd check out the whole fitting, and if it didn't need replacement, he'd only replace the handle. Otherwise, it would be very expensive to get in the crawl space and replace the pipe. In the house, he said that replacing the sink faucet would be no problem. Then he looked at the bathtub/shower, and asked me a few questions. I advised him that I wanted to replace the shower/tub faucet, spout, and showerhead for two reasons: Change out the old shiny chrome look with a brushed nickel set. The tub spout ring that you pull to turn on the shower seemed to be worn out, as the water flow to the shower head seemed to be insufficient. The plumber said that if anything behind the on/off valve was defective, he'd have to cut a hole in the wall behind the tub, in order to replace the unit. He said it was fortunate that I'd purchased a similar Delta model to the existing Delta model. He said that he felt he'd be able to replace the spout, faucet handle and showerhead without any problems. He took about 2-1/2 hours to complete the work. He picked up the boxes, old parts, etc, and was very neat. I am overall very pleased with the experience.

I felt like he was professional and honest. He had us come down and showed us there was nothing in that line. He could have told us there was a big block so I thought he was very honest.

I soon received a phone call from B & W Plumbing to finalize and confirm the appointment based on the preferences I entered online. The service person arrived at my door on the agreed upon date and time. He placed protective covers over his shoes before walking in my house, listened to my description of the situation, asked questions for clarification, and went to work. He tried to create the water leak, finished cleaning the drain, and then discussed the leak with me. I made the decision to limit services to the drain cleaning. He wrote out the bill for me, I paid the amount, and the appointment was done. The person at my house and the person who called me to finalize the appointment were courteous and professional. I am happy with the manner in which my business was conducted and I would use this company again.
