I was very pleased with B & W's responsiveness (especially during the busy summer season) and am confident they performed the work well. The tech, Tyce, was very friendly even though he was working after 5 PM on a Friday night. He wore shoe protectors to avoid tracking dirt through the house.

He did a good job. was courteous and knew his business and did it well. I did not let him know that we had another estimate for the work that was considerably more expensive.

When we couldn't unclog our kitchen sink ourselves, we called B & W. They sent someone out right away. He was friendly, efficient, and made sure he had thoroughly resolved our problem, double-checking his work before he left. We received $25 off for being Angie's List members. We were really glad to have our problem resolved so quickly.

The plumber that they sent was on time, friendly, and was really honest in his advice. I really like when someone says "If this were my house..." and then DOESN'T suggest the most expensive option. The results of the work were exactly what we asked for, and the plumber even provided some additional advice completely unrelated to the project when I asked. I was extremely happy with his work and professionalism.

Turns out it wasn't a plumbing issue. The unit itself is broken so the problem couldn't be resolved.

The entire experience was very satisfactory with one exception. The salesman was knowledgeable and, after inspecting my current equipment, offered me three alternatives, explaining advantages and dis- advantages of each. My only complaint is the fact that, after I told him I understood, as an Angie's List senior member, I was entitled to a discount. He said yes,, but it was only $25. I responded that I believed it was 5% (which, in my case, would be $416.). He then remembered that was true. And, unfortunately, he had another memory lapse when he returned later with the typed agreement. It did not reflect the discount. He apologized and quickly corrected this. The installation was scheduled for two days later. The two installers arrived on time and were very efficient, friendly and informative. My burglar alarm went off (we later figured out it was when they removed AC, which had been wired to the alarm) and one of them crawled across my attic to get to the alarm box to cut the wires and stop the noise. Before they left, they went over programming thermostat and replacing furnace filters. A few days later, I got a packet in the mail with completed rebate forms (and required equipment specifications and invoice) for energy rebates from the utility companies. All I had to do was sign and mail. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant experience.

It was thought that a new faucet was needed, the plumber thought it was the washer. He was correct the leak stopped.

They checked my old furnace - it would cost more to fix than replace. Also out of compliance.

Scheduled service between 9:00 & 11:00. The technician, Scott called,at 9:15 and arrived within half an hour. Very courteous, professional, offered helpful hints for maintaining external air conditioning unit and fixed leaky air conditioning drain line.

We liked their service. They were good.

Very smooth, B & W's team talked me through and was available at every step in the process. I had high expectations and every one of them far exceeded them. There is a reason they have been in business since 1961 and they have a customer for life. Very happy with the experience.

I called B & W after 4:00 p.m. and they were able to make the call on the same day. Tice came out and thoroughly checked our furnace, thermostat and cooling system. he found some stripped wires in our outdoor unit. He fied the problem and within thiry minutes we were back in business! He advised us that our unit might be nearing its end. He also advised us there was aproblem with a sensor switch that could go out at any time and would additional repair. We were so pleased with the service that we called the office and told them how great a job Tice did for us. When it comes time to replace our system, we will be using B&W to do the work.

Required evaluation of sump pump according to inspection on our home. We had already moved out of town and another company wouldn't go to the house without someone being there. B&W had no problem doing this (with our permission). Repair was low end of estimate. Efficient and the owner is very accessible.

iMy furnace would not kick on. Called B&W, they came out same day, showed up during the time frame expected, explained everything to me, walked me through the process, then gave me good tips on how to maintain my furnace and AC on my own to prevent future service calls. Excellent service!

They're a great company. They've come out on Sundays before to help us out. They're always great with the clean-up and they don't track any dirt in the house.

They did a great job. They were great and everything was good. It was a great deal, I think it was a fair deal but that is what they are, it's a tankless water, I don't have to deal with the tank downstairs anymore leaking or worry about it leaking.

My old water was from 1998 and we were starting to get less hot water during showers. I had used B&W last year to get a new sump pump. I called and was quoted the price of around $1000 for a new 50-gallon electric water heater with installation. They scheduled the installation for a couple days after I called (this wasn't an emergency since I did have hot water still). The plumber showed up on time. He took care of put down tarps in order to keep the floors clean. The water heater was in the basement so I'm sure it wasn't fun to haul them up and down the stairs. The installation was done in about 2.5 hours. He had to do some extra work on the pipes leading to the heater in order to fit the new one. About an hour after he left we had hot water throughout the home.

Plumber was on time and efficient. He found leak & replace line and replaced valve and 2 water lines.

For the first time in my life I am completely satisfied with a contractors work! Late afternoon on 3/26/13 I got B&W Plumbing's phone no. from Angies List and called them. Beth answered on the second ring and I explained I needed to get a kitchen drain un-stopped. She asked if it was an emergency, it was not, and she asked if 10 to 12 the next day (3/27/13) would be good. I told it would be great and she said I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived. At 10:10 the next day Plumber Dave called and said he would be here in about 20 minutes At 10:35 Plumber Dave arrived; I told him the problem and he went to work. He cleared the drain and then removed the old drain lines, replaced with new and was finished about 12 noon. GREAT JOB! O, dang, I almost forgot! He did knock over a liter of Root Beer in the garage, but then, nothing can be perfect, so he is forgiven.

Ray Mcclanahan was personable and professional. Everything was great!

Pretty simple process. He did a good assessment and took care of the issues efficiently. Also gave us good advice on some other issues.
