We had our water heater replaced about a year ago by somebody else who is now out of business. We called B&W and they got somebody out here the next day. The technician replaced the unions on both sides (hot and cold) of the water heater and added a bend to the pipe so that it was not causing tension any longer. So far, we have not seen any new leaks, and they provided a 2-year warranty for both parts and labor.

Repair job was done quickly.

It went very well. He was in and out quickly. He was very courteous and professional and he did not overcharge me. I did my research on Angie's List before I called them. I was able to use the Angie's List coupon on my service call fee and I saved $25. They told me upfront what their fee is so there was no surprise. They also worked with my schedule and they were there to meet me after work. They were even willing to come sooner, but I couldn't meet them. Very punctual.

The repairmen was on time, polite, professional and kept me informed on the repair work he was doing. I will call B&W again if I experience plumbing problems in the future.

He had to replace some pipes and put in new shower controller that we had been trying to install. We already had the wall opened up but couldn't get the leak to stop. He did a great job and was very professional. I will call them again the next time my husband decides to "fix" things.

It was an all day job. He called before he came, arrived when he said he would and got right to work. He had to work around multiple fans and a dehumidifier from the restoration company as well as the folks from that company. He did a wonderful job - was professional, informative, cleaned up after and patient with all my questions and picture taking. Except for the missing tile piece and new concrete patch, you never would have know he was here. He even loved on my attention hound of a dog when she would curiously stick her nose in.

They have always done a good job. Their work is spot on and I have always been pleased with the service.

B & W did a fantastic job. They gave me a window between 9 AM and 11 AM and were here by 9:15 AM. The plumber wasted no time looking at the problem and getting to work. They asked me to locate the street water shutoff which he was able to use to shut off the water coming into my home. He warned me that my copper pipe from the street into my house through the concrete block is old and that it might fail. He was making sure that I understood the risks and explained what would need to be done in that case. Luckily the pipe cut just fine for him and he was able to attach a modern handle-type valve which looks great and is very easy to operate. He finished the job in about an hour and properly tested all of the water fixtures in my house to make sure they were still working correctly. I am very pleased with the service and that my main water valve isn't leaking anymore.

He called and said he was available earlier than expected (great!) so I met him at the house about an hour earlier than scheduled. He repaired the furnace shut off valve leak that was detected during our house inspection. Very professional and even helped me get the water turned on at the home and showed me the location of the valve so I know going forward. Appreciate him taking the time to go out of his way to help me. Furnace repair was completed in less than an hour. I will be using B&W again in the future. Thanks!

Plumber Dave was EXTREMELY helpful and took his time to explain to me what had happened, even using a camera to show me where the break was and why it was backing up, and exactly what would need to be repaired. He was on time, did not go over his initial cost estimate, and had everything fixed in just a few hours with little disruption. He took care of a potentially very messy and damaging problem and was cheerful, helpful and reassuring. Could not have been better! I'd recommend Plumber Dave to anyone.

The heater guy was an hour doing the job and was cheaper than anyone. I did call. I was so happy with my new furnace. Great job.

My husband and I called thiscompany early Saturday morning because we had a leak under the kitchen sink. Neither my husband or I are "handy" around the house. I especially liked that my husband spoke to a real person when I called. This person took our information and within 10 minutes called us back with a quote and estimated time of arrival for the plumber. The plumber arrived within 10 minutes his estimated time. The man was polite, quick and competent. He found the problem and was done in 15 minutes. it was a little pricey ...but it was a weekend so we know that meant it would be higher. Will definetly use them again.

We have used B & W for years and now I needed to replace the AC/Furnace. They came out and supplied the quote. The salesperson was very professional and answered all questions. It came down to price and they were the highes of the bids I rec'd. I did not use them due to the price.

'Plumber Dave' was the tech who responded. He explained everything thoroughly and outlined several options. He was quick, efficient and EVEN found the light switch to activate the lights in the crawl space that had been missing for 20 years! Had two leaking outdoor faucets. Fully expected to have to replace both, but Plumber Dave did an inspection and determined that the leaks could be fixed without replacing everything, which was a huge difference in cost. This repair worked and faucets are leak free. Very courteous, on time, and explained what was/wasn't needed, and why.

The technician was very professional and sympathized with us still having to him for the service call even though everything was fine. We did have a coupon so that was nice. We will be starting up and annual maintenance program with B & W in fall. We are very grateful to him for having our specific sized air filter on hand and replacing it on the spot. Glad to see a company actually has them. All the other places quoted us for a bulk order of them. Also, they provided same day service.

My wife and I bought the house in September 2012 and one item the building inspector mentioned is that we have a new hybrid high efficiency furnace/AC unit but one side effect of this that those types of units are known to produce a lot of water. The previous home owner simply had a pipe from the furnace draining into the crawl space and as everyone knows you want your crawl space as dry and dusty as possible. It took us a while to get around to it but we finally decided to call someone to get it looked at. I wasn't sure if it was technically a plumbing issue or a heating/AC issue so I decided to call B&W since they could do all three. I called on 6/25/13 to set up a time to have it looked at. They were able to come out the following day and do an inspection. Doug Scaggs was the estimator who came and he was very polite and professional. Once he got down into the crawl space he took a look at the situation and provided us a quote. He mentioned that the most serious issue he saw was the drainage pipe was draining directly over the gas line into the house and the added moister could cause that line to rust. Upon hearing that news we decided to go ahead and have the work performed. We called to scheduled the work that same day and they were able to come out on 6/28/13. Michael Bratton was the licensed plumber who performed the work. He came to the door and introduced himself and got right to work. I believe the job took him about 2 hours. He was polite and professional. I rated them a "B" in price and quality for two reasons. I am not a plumber and know little about it so for the quality of their work I can not be the judge. The only way I will know if they did a poor job is if I have a problem in the future and that is determined to be the cause but so far so good. The only reason I gave them a B in price is because we did not have anyone else quote the job due to the urgency to get it done since it was over the gas line. Therefore I have no idea if their pricing was high, low, or about average. However their punctuality, responsiveness and professionalism was top notch and they earned their A rating.

My air conditioner had stopped working, and I called B & W earlier in the morning and they came out that afternoon. They actually arrived earlier than originally expected which was a plus. Scott the repair man tuned up my air conditioner replacing some bad wires and they checked my filters and made sure that everything was working properly. Scott - my repair man was very professional and polite. When I spoke with Dina their scheduler that morning, she suggested that I join Angie's list to receive their discount and I did right away, and it was worth it. Now, Angie's list is the first place that I will check before calling for my repairs.
