We have used Plumber Dave before and as usual we got prompt and courteous service. He remembered being here before and knew where the drain access was without being told. He took care of the problem and offered advice on how to avoid future problems. I think B and W's rates are expensive and tried other plumbing services before calling them again, but none of the other providers I called were interested in coming out to fix the problem. When I call B and W, I always ask for Plumber Dave and get excellent and professional and courteous service.

I woke up to a cold shower on a Saturday morning. After checking the water heater, pilot light was off. After relighting it, it would not stay on so I decided to call B&W. They were very attentive and professional on the phone but stated that they may not get to me today so I scheduled something for the following Monday. About an hour later, Plumber Dave (check him out on facebook) gave me a call and stated he was down the street and would be at my house in 10 min. He arrived promptly, checked the unit and made sure all parts were working. Then, he discovered the little white reset button on the panel had been tripped due to overheating. He pushed it, loosened the panels to help the heater breath better and voila. Dave was very courteous and professional and he even gave a few tips on my kitchen faucet, which has some low pressure issues. He only charged me for the diagnostic fee.

B & W are great! They've replaced several water heaters for us and we've always been pleased. They are quick to respond, work efficiently, have great products and keep excellent service/warranty records. Highly recommend!

Service was awesome! Called same day to have them come out when the gas company shut the gas off due to a detected leak. Plumber was very professional. Quickly diagnosed the location of the leak and repaired it. Plumber even called the next day to make sure that everything was back in working order once the gas company came to turn the gas back on.

It went very well. The service technician was on-time and completed all of the necessary work. He explained what he did, and proposed some solutions to other potential problems. The work was priced in accordance with the estimate he provided, and he did not attempt to sell us any other services beyond what we asked him to fix.

All work was performed in a professional and timely manner. Always pleased with this company, the servicemen, and their work.

Went very well. Called another company and they said they could not be at my home until the afternoon the next day. Called B&W and they had a plumber at my home within 3 hours. Fixes the leak in about an hour and am greatly appreciative of the quick and professional service!!

The furnace stopped working over the weekend. The unit is 25 years old so I wasn't surprised that it had stopped. Called B&W at 7:00 AM on Monday and spoke with Dena. They had a person at my house by ten after 8. Jason is the technician. He was very professional and friendly. Found the problem right away - a tripped circuit breaker from some unrelated work in the breaker box. While I feel a little dumb for not finding the root cause myself, it was a reminder that I need to start getting estimates for replacement of my aging HVAC system. Jason stayed around for awhile to ensure the system was functioning properly and make sure the breaker didn't trip again. I've worked with B&W for plumbing issues on multiple occasions in the past and have always had excellent service, which is why I called them for this incident. I will definitely call B&W for my future plumbing and heating needs! Thanks, guys!

Being new to the area, I was so concerned about using an unknown plumber. These guys were great! I will continue to use them. I love that they're so close too!

Mark arrived on time with a courtesy call prior to arriving. He was very informative, prompt and professional.

Excellent service. Chris was very helpful on the initial phone call to make the appointment. Mark was actually early and called beforehand. The main water shut off valve was frozen and the water valve on the hot water tank to the humidifier was broken. Mark replaced both valves with new up-to-code ball valves. He had all the materials he needed on the truck. Originally the valve on the hot water tank was on the cold water side and Mark put the new valve on the hot water side for better efficiency for the whole house humidifier. I couldn't of asked for better service and punctuality; in addition to leaving the work area very clean. I will definitely call B&W Plumbing again when I need a plumber.

The serviceman was prompt, friendly and helpful. He checked out the system, explained it to me and it is working great! He said that the pad in the unit looked brand new and did not try to sell me one. The service call was 118.50, less $10 for scheduling online and $25 for the Angie's List coupon. BUT I could not find the coupon, even though it stated with coupon and the repairman said there should be one. EVEN though I could not find it, he saw I was an Angie's List member and gave me the credit for the coupon. Nice guy!

I was on vacation sitting on the beach when my brother (housesitter) called and said that something was wrong with my heat. I got on my app, found B&W and had heat restored within several hours. Nice and easy!

Due to the extremely cold weather, our furnace started making a whining noise. It sounded like a belt was off. We called B & W based on a recommendation from a coworker. They were readily available and came according to our schedule. The techs arrived on time and were courteous and professional. Turned out there was nothing wrong with our furnace, but they checked everything out. The price was originally $118.50, but we saved $25 using the Angie's List coupon. No pressure to sign up for the service plan either. Only one complaint - we were excited to see that the tech showed up with the shoe covers. They used them; however, they also wore them outside so when it came time to pay and the guy stepped on our wood floor in the kitchen, we ended up with a huge mess. He was apologetic and offered to clean it up, but it was still a mess. Wouldn't have happened had he not worn the covers outside in the snow.

B + W was available during the crazy snow storm/cold snap. The company we bought our furnace through and also have a warranty through could not get to us for 4 days. B + W was able to squeeze us in at the end of the day (the same day I called). My furnace was not working and had they not come out we would have run into even more problems with the -30 degree temperatures that they were predicting for the evening since we did not have heat. Service technician was on time, polite and professional. He showed me what was wrong with my furnace and was able to fix it and get my heat running within 30 minutes of his arrival. We were very pleased to say the least.

The toilet kept running and they fixed it. They did a really good job and they made it easy. They had kept a history on the house, so they knew it. They are friendly and punctual. I will continue to use them.

A piece was missing for the faucet, so the went to Lowe's to purchase the nut. Lowe's did not have this special nut, so he agreed to wait, at my home until the company, where I purchased the faucet could delivered the correct size part. I am so pleased I selected B & W Plumbing. TY Randy (the plumber).

I was satisfied with the plumber but I think I was taken advantage of. I had lost power in the area and I had to stay with friends until my power was turned back on at 1 am Wednesday morning. When I came home, I found the pipe in my utility room had cracked and was leaking through my garage ceiling. He didn't do any repairs in garage. He only repaired the pipes in the utility room and underneath the crawl space. I asked him to check the other pipes in the house and he had told me it would be $1000 to do the entire job. I went to work and when I came home, they changed the price to over $2000. He also told me that my toilet in my 3rd bathroom needed repaired due to a crack. All I wanted was my pipes fixed and he just kept coming up with other things that needed done around the house. He was supposed to come back to fix another problem but I told him I was going to have somebody else do it. I had a couple of other providers come out and they all told me that I was way over charged. They told me that I could get a whole house of pipes repaired for that price. These providers also told me that the toilet did not actually need replaced, it was just loose and needed to be tightened to the floor. My insurance adjuster and restoration company also agreed that the price was too high. The insurance adjuster had a problem that there was not an itemized receipt, it was just casually written down on a piece of paper.

They scheduled to come out this morning. They came out on time and completed the work correctly.

I cannot say enough good things about this service. I found B & W on Angie's list (which has been a fabulous resource to us as we are new to Indianapolis) and called them on Tuesday morning after we woke up and discovered we had no water. The temperatures had fallen in the night, with wind chill, to minus 40. Luckily we had power, but we surmise now that there was not enough heat in the garage to keep the water filtration tanks from freezing. Even the indoor well holding tank froze, as did the pipes that run along the uninsulated concrete wall. The visit on Tuesday turned out to be diagnostic only, as David didn't have a heater powerful enough with him to help us that day, yet I cannot tell you how wonderful it was that he came out in the horrendous temperatures and said "I'd sure like to help you get water today". Just those words helped mitigate the trauma of our first MidWest winter and all the challenges it has brought. He guided us about what kind of a heater to try to locate to help the garage heat up, and told us to contact the office again for assistance. I talked with Beth at the office later in the day who also made suggestions about what kind of heater to try to locate. We found out that virtually all the heaters in Indianapolis were sold out, so we ordered one on Amazon to be delivered in a couple of days. Of course, we were still without water at that point and I learned how to melt snow so we could flush the toilets and wash dishes. The next day (Wednesday) we got a call from Beth who had been thinking about us (can you believe it?) and had managed to arrange for a supervisor to come out with their huge 55,000 propane Salamander heater to see what he could do - would we want this service? I was astonished and so grateful -- yes, I said, I would be happy for the assistance. Doug actually got out earlier than scheduled and spent about 3 hours heating up pipes and the well holding tank and the garage. He had to totally by pass the 3 large filtration canisters as they were frozen solid, so even if my husband and I had been successful at warming up pipes and garage at some later date, we would NEVER have been able to do the plumbing that Doug did. So now we will wait for a week or so to get the filtration system back on line, but for the duration we have water and are so very, very thankful and pleased. David, Beth, and Doug were all professional, compassionate, thoughtful, and provided a service excellence that really surprised me. Now THIS is Hoosier hospitality at its best.

The plumber arrived in a very timely manner, considering all the calls they have probably been getting because of the artic chill we've been having, I was very pleased that he arrived first thing in the morning. I thought I'd be waiting all day. So we are happy to have the hot water in the kitchen again. He was very courteous, wore his booties and was personable and helpful.

We called and within an hour and a half we had heat. He checked everything and fixed the error that was causing cold air. Great service. We have used B&W 3 times in 7 years and will use them again in the future.

Showed up on time, gave me an estimate of the work and completed. Problems are all gone and it is nice not to hear water running in the back of my toilet all the time.

Dave arrived right on time. He talked about the cost before starting the job. Then he finished the job, explained to me what he did, gave us recommendations for prevention, and also told me what is wrong with the garbage disposal.
