Our house was built in 1974, so we knew there was the possibility of asbestos in the old floor tile. We had a local lab test a small sample and there was 2% asbestos present. Based on Angie's List, we called Air Co for an estimate. Dan came out and gave us an estimate for the removal of the tile and floor (particle board) layer, to which the tile was glued. Dan was very candid with us about the danger of the asbestos tile, however, he did not try to scare us. In fact, he told us that to have him do the work would be overkill for such a small amout of asbestos. Being the health freaks that we are, we decided to have Air Co do the job. His estimate was reasonable and he worked with us to reduce the fee, as we did some of the non-asbestos work before they got here. They came out in a non-descript truck and went about their work discretely. The workmen were friendly and set us at ease as they set up the containment area. After the crew of two were done, they called Dan and he came out and did an inspection of the work. They were very professional, did exactly what we wanted done, and we would not hesitate to have them back again.

The asbestos removal was done in an extremely efficient and workman like manner. Workmen were careful in the removal of trim for reuse. All preparation work was done carefully to avoid damaging walls, furniture, appliances, cabinets etc. AIR Co's price was the lowest of the three quotes I received. Could not have been happier with the results of their work, or the workmen. All surfaces left in excellent condition for installation of new flooring.

The job cost a lot less than I had expected. I was not there when they performed the job, but they went over what they would do beforehand, and that's what they did.

I set up an appointment for Daren to come out and take an asbestos sample from our home. The following day, an hour after our appointment, he had yet to show up or call. I called him to tell him nevermind. He said he was in the middle of a job and didn't realize what time it was. I told him nevermind that we wouldn't worry about it. He asked "you're not going to worry about it?" I then said we would rather go with another company. He instantly became very defensive and turned the situation around as if I had done something wrong by not allowing him to proceed with the job even though he was a no call/no show. I said there were no hard feelings and I would have understood if he had at least called and said he would be late. But to hire a company that was not even considerate enough to call was not one I wanted to do business with. He continued to say he didn't think it was right we would not let him do the job because he was in the middle of another job. Mistakes happen; had he offerred to take the sample at no charge (which is normally $50) to make up for it he would have earned my business. However, he was not professional enough to do this or even appologize for his negligence. I will never do business with this company.

We have two small children, so of course we were a bit nervous about the process but the gentlemen at Air Co reassured us that it would be handled with the highest safety - and it was. Every person I interacted with at Air Co was extremely professional (and nice to my kiddo's, which scores points with us!) Our vinyl installers ended up pulling out our dishwasher, and we discovered that there was additional asbestos-containing flooring under it. They were extremely apologetic and responsive and came out within a few hours to remove it. Would highly recommend Air Co to anyone.

They were in and out in a snap. I did see some things that I thought had been missed. Darren was very patient in explaining to me that they had not been missed and in fact they had been done according to spec. Even though I didn't ask, he went ahead and scheduled another crew to come out and do the "missed" spots. I would definitely use them again!

Really seemed to know what they were talking about. Believe they would have done an outstanding job. Simply went with a cheaper solution.

Air Co came out to our home and removed some asbestos so would could have some plumbing work done. They were always on time, and they gave us a great quote.

Dan Flack was very professional. He explained what was going to happen from start to finish and gave us a couple of options to choose from. They worked on a tight deadline as we were trying to accommodate a closing. They called to give us a status report as each step was completed and faxed the finished reports to us as soon as they were available. I felt very comfortable with what was done. We could have chosen a less expensive alternative with another company, but were really impressed with the knowledge and professionalism Dan and his team provided.

There was a small miscommunication as to the work being required by the city of Indianapolis, it was to begin ten days after filing the paperwork. But, I was able to coordinate Air Co.'s work with that of my furnace installer's. Air Co. was on-site early on the appointed day, and completed the job in only four hours. This allowed my furnace crew to get in and complete a substantial amount of work. As it was January, this was no small detail. Air Co. provided me good service at what I feel was a good price.

WAYNE WAS VERY NICE AND PATIENT, IN EXPLAINING ABOUT THE PROCEDURE FOR REMOVING IT. HE CALLED A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE THE JOB TO CONFIRM. HE ALSO CALLED THE AM OF THE JOB TO "TOUCH BASE" AND GIVE AN EXACT TIME THEY WOULD BE OUT. HIS GUYS ARE VERY POLITE.

The company was great, very prompt and very thorough. They gave me a $300 discount for removing the ceiling panels myself, which I very much appreciated.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB- VERY THOROUGH. THEY WERE ALSO IN AND OUT VERY FAST- SEVERAL GUYS APPEARED, DID THE JOB, AND WERE GONE. IT WAS GREAT.

DARREN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY. THE ONLY REASON WE DIDN'T GO WITH THEM FOR THE JOB WAS A LOWER BID FROM ANOTHER COMPANY. HONESTLY, IN HINDSIGHT, WE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH THEM FOR THE JOB.

UNBELIEVABLE. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER. MET WITH THE OWNER, WE TALKED SPECIFICS, AND HAD A WRITTEN ESTIMATE IN ABOUT TWO DAYS. MY WIFE AND I THOUGHT IT OVER AND DECIDED TO GIVE THEM THE GREEN LIGHT. THEY PULLED THE CITY PERMITS AND SCHEDULED US. FIVE WORKERS, A PROJECT MANAGER AND THE OWNER ARRIVED AT THE HOUSE THIS MORNING (ON TIME). WITHIN SIX HOURS, THEY HAD COMPLETELY CLEANED OUR PIPES AND THEIR WORK AREA. THE PIPES ARE SO CLEAN, ONE COULD THINK THEY HAD BEEN COMPLETELY REPLACED. GREAT CARE WENT INTO THEIR WORK, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

TEAM WAS SENT TO REMOVE ASBESTOS TAPE. DURING VISUAL INSPECTION, THEY DISCOVERED ANOTHER AREA IN THE CRAWL SPACE AND RECOMMENDED IT BE CONTAINED RATHER THAN REMOVED. NO EXTRA CHARGE. A COUPLE WEEKS LATER, I NOTICED THAT SOME OF THE ASBESTOS TAPE IN THE BASEMENT HAD NOT BEEN REMOVED (ALL THE TAPE IN THE BASEMENT WAS ATTACHED TO THE RAFTERS AND QUITE EASY TO SEE). I CALLED WAYNE GREELY WHO CAME OUT, VERIFIED THAT IT WAS IN FACT TAPE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED. HE TRIED TO ARRANGE AN ALTERNATE TEAM TO FINISH THE JOB THE NEXT DAY, BUT THEY HAD TRUCK PROBLEMS. THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY, BOTH WAYNE AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY CAME TO THE HOUSE. WAYNE PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION AND THE PRESIDENT REMOVED THE REMAINING ASBESTOS. THEY BOTH SEEMED SINCERELY CONCERNED ABOUT THE SITUATION AND WERE CLEARLY TRYING TO BE VERY THOROUGH IN THEIR CORRECTION OF AFFAIRS. IN THE END, I'M CONFIDENT I GOT A VERY THOROUGH REMOVAL, BUT HAD TO GO THROUGH SOME HOOPS TO GET THERE.

THEY WOULD BE MY LAST RESORT FOR SERVICE AT THIS POINT.

FORTUNATELY, ASBESTOS REPORT CAME BACK NEGATIVE SO WE DID NOT NEED ACTUAL REMOVAL TO BE DONE, BUT WOULD HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER HIRING THIS COMPANY TO DO THE WORK. VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS.

REMOVED TAPE WITH ASBESTOS AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL. THEY TOOK THE TEN DUCTS AND THE PANS AND REMOVED THEM. GREAT TO WORK WITH, VERY NICE PEOPLE.

EXCELLENT FAST WORK. TOOK CARE NOT TO DAMAGE HARDWOOD FLOORS THAT WERE UNDER THE TILES THAT I TOLD THEM I INTENDED TO REFINISH.

FANTASTIC JOB; LEFT THE WORK SITE CLEAN. HONEST AND GOOD GUYS TO WORK WITH!
