AIR Co. did an excellent and thorough job.

I cant say enough good things about our experience with AIR Co. During a kitchen floor demo, it was suspected the bottom layer may have been asbestos tile from 1954 when our home was built. Project manager Dan Flack came out the next day to take a sample of the tile and the following day it came back positive for asbestos. He came back the same day to run an air test throughout the house to find out if the rest of the house was contaminated with asbestos dust from the kitchen floor demo, and fortunately it wasn’t. We set up a time to have AIR Co come in and remediate the rubble the flooring company had to leave in our kitchen, as well as remove the remaining asbestos tile from the subfloor. Eddy and his crew did an exceptional job and were in and out in 3 hours. We were fortunate they had a cancellation and were able to move us up on their schedule by 5 days, which has been a huge help to get us back living in our house again. I hope we don’t need their services again, but if we do, they’ll be the only ones we’ll call.

AIR Co was professional and trustworthy from the quote to completing the work. They removed asbestos tile from my kitchen and dealt with asbestos tape on my very old return air ducts. Highly recommend this team to anyone that needs asbestos abatement.

I had another person wrap ducts at another house and felt that Air co. did a superior job in comparison. They did not just wrap but sealed the areas and found areas to wrap that I had missed. I felt the price was reasonable.

When we found asbestos tile under carpet we had to remove in our old house, we hired Air Co who had done encapsulation of asbestos tape on duct work for us previously. We were having basement waterproofing done and this stopped all work. Air Co. was able to come quickly, remove all the heavy tile in one day, haul it away, and send a report later about its proper disposal. We were very happy with their work.

Darrin and Jeff were very professional and took the time to answer our many questions. The crew showed up on-time and were thorough with sealing off the containment area. They worked hard to get the job done in one day. We were left with smooth glass-like asbestos-free concrete floors. The crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards both inside the house and out. We hope to not need them, but would definitely hire again.

Things went very well. Jeff, office guy, was on top of it and was very helpful. Darrin (owner), came out and was able to verify visually it was asbestos. He was able to get a crew out within a couple of days and they were there for only 2 hours to get it done. I would recommend them because they seemed very trustworthy to me.

I have contracted with similar companies across the USA and my experience with AIR Co. was top notch. Excellent communicators, thorough, competitive price, prompt service. All phases of work from initial assessment through work completion were completed to 100% satisfaction. After the visible asbestos was removed, my contractor was removing a 60 year old concrete floor slab and discovered asbestos buried under it. This is the first time I have encountered something like this in my 40 years of construction work. The contractor immediately coordinated direclty with AIR Co. and the previously hidden asbestos was remediated by AIR Co. the following morning which kept my overall demolition on schedule.

After the test results came back, we were happy to hear that we did NOT have asbestos, even though it originally appeared that way to the home inspector and the Air Co representative. We now have peace of mind that we can continue working in our space without being concerned about the possibility of asbestos.

The consultant we dealt with, Dan Flack, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. All work was completed exactly as described and at the agreed upon price. I even had some follow up questions a couple years later and he actually came out to the house (for free) to discuss the new questions I had regarding some of the work done. I couldn't have been more pleased!

The job was done in a day and they cleaned up nicely. We had put off even getting an estimate for years being afraid of the cost but were very happy with their price. Our house is 110 years old so the basement is not much but it was amazing how much bigger, and cleaner it looked with the old furnace gone. They were very easy to work with.

From my initial call through the completion of the service, the team at AirCo was helpful, timely, professional and friendly. Although I did not get additional quotes, I felt the cost was reasonable. Asbestos tile and mastic were removed from my basement. The floor was clean and free of debris when the job was complete. A radon mitigation system also was needed. Rather than take the easy way and put the external pipe at the front of my house, the pipe was routed through the crawlspace to the exterior of the house.

I called and spoke with Dan and he came that same day and examined what we thought was asbestos. He was sure it was, but I decided to go ahead and have the analysis completed. I went ahead and had him schedule the remove which was the same week. They did a fantastic job and everyone was very professional and left the area clean! After a string of not so great (okay pretty bad) contractors, I joined Angie's list and finding companies like Air Co. definately makes the membership more than worth while. Thank you Air Co!

They guys from Air Co were on time and professional. They did a great job and finished the work on time. I was very pleased with the results.

He was great. He was in the area so we came by that day. Did a quick check on some old tiles we thought might have asbestos in them. Results came back that they were fine. Because the test was so quick and our house was on the way he didn't even charge us. I see he also does radan, which is something else we would like to get tested. Based on our experience with asbestos, we'll be sure to call him for the radan test. If I ever have an issues with asbestos, he will be my one and only call.

We called to get some advice and an estimate on having asbestos removed from an older home we were purchasing. Darrin answered the phone on a weekend and came out the next day to evaluate the extent of removing asbestos from our basement. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in providing the information and options we needed to make a decision on what he thought we should do. We hired Air Co to do the work and had to change the date on them due to our home closing later than expected. Darrin moved his schedule around so he could get in and get the work done before we moved into our home. The cost was actually much less than the estimate mostly due to Darrin giving us some suggestions on ways we could keep the cost down. They completed the work in 2 days and left our home cleaner than when they arrived! We very much appreciated Darrin and his crew for their professionalism and we would not hesitate to use the company again.

Air Co was on the job site within hours of the demolition company contacting them of our loss. Air Co tested for asbestos and because the tests were positive 2 of 3 times, they removed and disposed of it according to federal regulations.

They came out and verified it was asbestos around the pipes and then we scheduled a team to come out and remove the asbestos. They sealed off the area with plastic and tape, they put on hazmat suits and respirators, and cleaned the pipe completely. The copper pipe is now all nice and shiny. They did an excellent job of removing the asbestos. Cleaned the place up thoroughly and hauled it all away. It took them about 3 hours to complete the job of cleaning one pipe that was about 6-7 feet long that was heavily wrapped with asbestos. The guys were friendly, they did a good job, and the estimate was thorough and complete. About a month later I did receive a certificate of safe disposal. They were very punctual. They said they would be there at 9 o'clock and they were there right on the money.

Had a few old furnace duct tapes with asbestos on them that needed to be removed. Dan with AirCo came for an estimate about an hour and a half after I called. He provided a fair price and we scheduled the removal for the following week. The two Air Co workers were on time, polite, and professional. They cleaned everything up and left things in excellent condition. Dan returned after they finished to inspect their work which was done well. The price paid was the same as the quote and we will be provided a full report of what was removed and declaring this home asbestos-free. Would absolutely use them again.

The process went very smoothly. Dan came out and did the estimate and was very friendly and willing to answer my questions. I came up with more questions which he responded to promptly each time I emailed him. Their quote was actually more than another company we had out, but I felt more comfortable with the responsiveness of AirCo. We had them remove linoleum, and the plywood it was stuck to due to the mastic also containing asbestos. The whole layer of flooring containing asbestos was underneath ceramic tile which we wanted removed so it was a big job for them. They were able to come out quickly since it was a one day job and the crew was very nice and got the work done quickly and efficiently.
