The work consisted of disconnecting and removing wiring for a trailer hitch. They were efficient and workmanlike in giving an estimate and performing the work.

I went there to get an oil change and asked them about my car running hot and they said that it needed a new heater core. And it would cost $450 and I had no reason not to believe them and I told one of my neighbors about this and he said that I did not need a heater core but that I needed a new radiator. I bought one from a junk yard and my neighbor put it in. It was less than $100 and it was not $450. I just don't feel to good about them anymore, since they tried to scam me.

It went very well, better than I would've thought. The owner was there to greet me as I entered. The mechanic was nice enough to walk me back and show me where the rotors were really bad, respected this because you really 'never know' the particular damages. Was able to give me the cost upfront before I left for drop off, and it was right on when I left. A rarity in this industry. If you EVER are in Marion county and need great service at a respectable price, call Joe's Battery, and Mike will take care of you.

The cost depends on what we have done but they are very reasonable. I would highly recommend.

We dropped it off on a Tuesday night, but didn't hear back from them until Thursday. I had called to check on the van Thursday morning and was told they hadn't gotten to it yet. As I was driving home from work at around 4 p.m. that day, they called and said it was finished and that it was ready to pick up. I would have appreciated a phone call telling me their diagnoses of the problems and authorization from me to go forward with work, but they didn't do that. However, the work was performed to satisfaction, plus I saved more than $30 by using a coupon they have on a web site. They were polite and genial.

They do impeccable work, they're very very good. The owner knows what he's doing and tries to keep the price as low as possible.

ABOUT A MONTH OR SO LATER IN OCT OR NOV 2006 THE IS SAID THE CAR WAS READY. I WENT TO PICK UP THE CAR, BUT ONE OF THE LIGHTS WAS NOT WORKING. THIS WAS FIXED, BUT WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP, ANOTHER LIGHT WAS NOT WORKING. DEC 2006 I WAS TOLD THE CAR WAS READY. WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP, THERE WAS A NOTE STATING THE CAR NEEDED GAS. I ADDED 2.5 GAL BUT THE CAR WOULD NOT START. I NOTICED THE BACK FLOOR OF THE CAR HAD AT LEAST AN INCH OF STANDING WATER AND THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR WAS DAMP, MILDEWED, AND BASICALLY A DISASTER... THE DUCT TAPE OVER THE HOLES IN THE ROOF HAD DETERIORATED AND THE IS HAD DONE NOTHING ABOUT PROTECTING THE CAR FROM RAIN LEAKING INTO THE INSIDE. I ASKED THE IS TO COVER THE CAR, BUT IT WAS ONLY WHEN I BOUGHT A PLASTIC SHEET AND PUT IT OVER THE CAR MYSELF THAT IT HAD ANY PROTECTION. FEB 6 2007 I LAST SPOKE WITH THE IS. THE CAR HAS NOT SEEMED TO HAVE MOVED SINCE THEN. MAR 6 2007 MARKS 10 MONTHS THE IS HAS HAD MY CAR. I'D LIKE MY CAR FIXED AND RETURNED!

They did the job okay, but when I got my truck back a couple of my headlights were out and I knew they weren't before. I complained about it and there was an electrical short in there. They did not replace the headlights. I had to pay for that. They have always done good work before. I was very dissatisfied and for them to not take responsibility for it angered me. They didn't apologize and just want you to keep bringing it back. The pricing was okay if they are going to just do the work and not continue to have other problems.

Great. Danny is a no B.S. mechanic. He tells you what's wrong, gives you a price and fixes it right. Easy guy to work with. Tires were great.

They got us in quickly and had the vehicle finished that day. This is the second time in a couple of weeks we've taken a vehicle there. The first was for an electrical test. All we needed was a new battery, even though we'd been told we probably needed a new starter. I will definitely use them again.

JOHN (AND HIS MECHANIC, ERIC) WERE COURTEOUS, POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. OUR VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED THOROUGHLY AND THE PROBLEMS IN QUESTION WERE CORRECTED IN A TIMELY AND COST EFFICIENT MANNER. SUGGESTIONS WERE OFFERED, BUT WERE NOT PUT IN A WAY THAT ALLOWED US TO MAKE THE ULTIMATE DECISION AS TO WHAT REPAIRS TO PROCEED WITH. IT'S HARD TO FIND AN HONEST MECHANIC THESE DAYS, BUT THE OWNER AND THE MECHANICS AT THE IMPORT STATION ARE INDEED JUST THAT.

IMPORT STATION SAVED ME A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS WHEN COMPARED WITH THE DEALER'S SERVICE QUOTE. I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE THEY ARE HONEST . . . THEY'VE TOLD ME WHEN WORK IS NECESSARY AND WHEN IT ISN'T. HARD TO FIND THAT KIND OF HONESTY!

PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY. CAR WAS DONE ON TIME. PRICE WAS HIGHER AS THEY NEEDED TO DO SOME REPAIR WORK. QUOTED THE ADDITIONAL PRICE.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB, THEY CALLED US AND LET US KNOW WHEN EVERYTHING WAS FINISHED. THEY CHECKED WITH US BEFORE THEY DID ANY WORK. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. MY ONLY RESERVATION IS THAT THEY TRY SO HARD TO KEEP THE PRICE DOWN, THAT THERE IS WORK THEY WANT TO WAIT ON THAT I WOULD PREFER GET DONE. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY HONEST ABOUT THE SITUATION.

I DON'T NORMALLY TAKE MY CAR HERE, BUT I NEEDED TO GET MY OIL CHANGED RIGHT AWAY, BEFORE I LEFT ON A LONG TRIP. THEY GOT ME IN RIGHT AWAY AND WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. THEY NOTICED MY BRAKE PADS WERE ALMOST COMPLETELY WORN DOWN AND JUST LET ME KNOW, AND DID NOT PRESSURE ME AT ALL TO GET THEM FIXED ON THE SPOT. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE COURTESY AND LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

EXTREMELY GIFTED AND QUALIFIED MECHANIC. WORKED WITHIN MY BUDGET. HE FOLLOWED UP TO MAKE SURE I WAS SATISFIED AND HAD NO PROBLEMS STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK. TREATED MY VEHICLE LIKE IT WAS HIS OWN. OFFERED HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE MODIFICATIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS. HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY.

IMPORT STATION GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO SAVE ME MONEY. I SAY I NEED A NEW (___) AND THEYLL SUGGEST AN ALTERNATIVE THAT WILL COST LESS.

BRAKE PEDAL WAS LOW WHEN PICKED UP AND THEY SAID TO DRIVE IT AND IT WOULD COME UP. ANOTHER MECHANIC SAID THEY HAD NOT ADJUSTED IT PROPERLY. OIL LIGHT WAS ON AS WELL. TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID IT MAY BE LOW, IT WAS 4 1/2 QUARTS LOW!
