Have worked on my car before a few times. Always pleased

I went in to see why my new used car kept loosing acceleration. I was referred to them to do a full diagnostic ($75 that went towards cost of fixing the vehicle) by American Muffler on Arlington Ave. & 38th st. The diagnostic showed that I had bad vacuum hoses. They replaced my damaged vacuum hoses with my authorization to do so. After fixing it, the car kept cutting off. They told me to immediately bring my vehicle back and they checked it out (free of charge to me). There was another vacuum hose that needed to be replaced. They fixed it and sent me on about my way! My car is running greatly now. I would definitely utilize this facility again because I didn't feel haggled on what was wrong with my car or pressured into fixing a lot of other issues with the car outside of my initial concern. PS- I LOVE that they put a cover over my steering wheel, my tan floor carpet, and my tan cloth seat as to not get oil all over them!

I took a used car I was considering buying to Arlington Auto Center to have an inspection done. They spent approx. 6 hours doing a thorough inspection. Mike Gross spent an additional half hour going over everything that was uncovered by the inspection. Mike was able to break down what "needed" to be fixed before it became a bigger problem, what "should" be fixed but could be left to my discretion, and what "could" be fixed but wouldn't necessarily affect the short or long-term performance of the car. Mike even spent 10 minutes on the phone with me the following day answering some follow-up questions I had. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and completely impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of Mike Gross and his team. Would absolutely use them again without hesitation.

got me in very quickly. Next day in fact. Repairs were done quickly and I was quite satisfied. I didn't get any other estimates, but believe I was treated fairly. Will use again.

Mike was over the top on explaining everything. I took the car in for the overheating issue, but, he went thru the truck from bumper to bumper & noticed things I had no idea about. I will most certainly use Mike again! WELL DONE!

Excellent service and fair prices

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I remember that they seemed pretty nice. I think we had a couple of things done at the same time so I think we may have paid an additional. It seemed pretty easy to drop off and pick up and they did nice work. I think the price was fine and there was nothing to complain about. We will use them again.

I called Mike at 1:30 in the afternoon needing an oil change. My wife needed my car on a long trip the following morning. I had been getting the car ready for this trip. I bought new tires the day before at a different business. I had forgotten about the oil change. It hit me while I was at work. I called a couple of places closer to where I live thinking that I could do it after work. They were all too busy and could not fit me in. So I decided to call Arlington Auto Center since it was close to my job. Mike was very busy, too, but understood my situation. He was able to schedule me in at 4:00. I actually arrived early, and even though the bays were full, he got me in right away. I was in and out in no time, and the price was great! His staff pointed out a few things that I might want to keep an eye on, but in no way did they push me to purchase those. So, all in all, they did a great job, they meet my time constraints, and they got me some points with the wife! Oh, and after seeing there showroom full of tires, I'll be checking them out for that next time too.

It went well. There was a little bit of delay in getting it fixed because they were backed up with other cars but it worked out fine. They did a great job, fixed the problem and I was satisfied. There were some parts that nee to be replaced so I did pay a little bit more and I understoodwhy.

The service went very well. It was much quieter - I still heard a little bit of noise, but I am due for an inspection. Mike & Joe's Battery is in a new location which has much more space and a nice big TV for you to watch if you need to wait.

I called Mike to see if he had the size tires I was looking for and I needed wiper blades that are hard to find. Mike was able to find the wiper blades and he had the tires I needed. They also pointed out I need a rear brake job soon. Mike ran a quote and gave me two options. I really appreciated the fact that the staff at Joe's is not pushy at all on repairs and that they don't try to scare you to death with what might happen if you don't get the repair right then.

My check engine light came on and the car was idling very rough. I also noticed my coolant level was very low. I stopped by Advanced Auto and had them run the codes. I called Mike and described the issues I was having and the codes. They ran a diagnostic and checked on the coolant. Nothing was leaking and they topped of the coolant. He explained the diagnostic and the next steps they would take. Very professional and very helpful. I also noticed that Mike explained to other customers what was wrong with their vehicle and what needed to be done and he did it in a very easy to understand way and with no pressure.

Everyone I know that owns a Volvo takes it to Joe’s Battery. They don’t do work on your car if it doesn’t need it. I am getting ready to take my car there next week.

I selected this company based on high marks on Angie's List and was not disappointed in the least. Although it took awhile to get in to be seen (first come first serve and they apparently do a nice volume of work), once I was in, the diagnostics and repairs were done expeditiously and it seems thoroughly. I found them to be very professional and reasonably priced. They also honored my Angie's List discount which saved me some money. I would recommend this repair shop to others and I drove all the way across town to use them. I was very pleased.

They were great and very fast. They made a terrible car situation much better.

I am very happy with the end result of these repairs. The driver's seat, which no one else in town seemed to be able to repair is virtually as good as new. The window works again, though it would've been nice if the window hadn't been opened slightly overnight during a heavy rain. (In their defense, the window was broken, so something like plastic would've had to have been taped over the window. Also, they did tell me about it after the fact and even tried to dry it out before I picked it up.) I don't know a lot about belt tensioners, so I have to assume that the repair was completed as it should be. The problem with the belt tensioner was discovered when trying to determine what was making a noise under the hood of my car. Though the noise I heard didn't end up being what was repaired, whatever miscommunication occurred between myself and them was discussed after the fact and dealt with in a professional manner. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back to them or refer them to others.

I have always received excellent customer service from this company. They will actively work to give you the best price possible, and don't try to up-sell you on services you don't need. My only complaint is that they don't proactively offer to provide transportation while your car is in the shop. I have recommended them to friends, and will most definitely continue to use them

He is a great Volvo mechanic. He takes such great care of our vehicle and it remains in perfect condition.

Overall I am very satisfied with the service. When my car was initially having problems, I drove to the closest auto body shop downtown. They diagnosed the problem as a leaking water pump, but wanted to charge me over $450 for replacement parts and service. I told that shop I wanted a second opinion. I checked Angie's List that night and found Joe's Battery highly rated. Mike was extremely honest about the problem and diagnosed a similar issue with me car. However, Mike quoted me a much lower price (and that was before the Angie's List discount). I am new to the area and was looking for an honest place where I would feel confident taking my car. I feel confident in Joe's Battery and will most likely take my car there in the future.

It went extremely well, I always enjoy going in and seeing Mike. He and his mechanic do a great job at explaining how the service will change the overall driving experience. I take my BMW no where else but Joe's Battery. I plan on getting my lovely lady's car serviced there when time comes. See you soon Mike!

I was stuck in trafic with a dead car today on my way to work They sent a friendly tow truck driver and called me about two hours later to report that I needed a new fuel pump I will be able to pick it up tomorrow I have used them before and they are very good with fair prices and friendly staff

They explained what they saw the problems as being and what the costs would be to repair them. Their pricing was good and so they proceeded to get the work done in a reasonable amount of time. They were very honest and were able to save me money. The approximate cost listed was for both cars being worked on.

Joe's was prompt, thorough, and friendly, provided excellent customer service. I would recommend them for this kind of service.
