Amerifence

There was different crew for each job both arrived on time and were courteous. The work was of excellent quality. The company representative was very responsive to questions and helped us with the deck design. The deck and the fence are of man made material and should be maintenance free. So we hope to not use the company again at this house. If we moved and needed their services we would not hesitate to call.

We first met with rep decided on which fence to go with and after talking with HOA we needed to change. He said that was no big deal. When fence was installed, it was installed at original spot and fence design not the changes we have requested. It took about 3 months for them to come out and fix. The rep kep giving excuses to why he couldn't be out there or just didn't show up. Eventually we had to deal with the owner of the company to get the work done. Once we were to that level we were able to get the fence completed and we recieved a credit back for supplies that weren't used that we had originally paid for.

Installation date was fast and I was surprised they could complete the job in cold weather and snow conditions. They removed all of the existing posts from the previous owners fence line. They showed up on time and had the work completed before the end of the day. There were no hidden fees and they were straight up with me about the price which I appreciated. Arrived on time, top quality work, completed in within the day. Very professional workers, cleaned up around the fence and yard when finished. I plan on having Amerifence come back this summer and install the same fence on the other side.

Overall we are happy with the fence - it looks great. I had a bit of a hard time getting timely communication with our sales guy, but I did like him - friendly, fairly knowledgeable. The two guys that put up the fence were champs. It was mid-December and it snowed the entire time. It did take longer than they had anticipated, but the weather was a mess. We haven't had it long, but so far no issues. The two installers were also good at communicating a few issues they foresaw with me that we took care of on the spot - instead of just installing without checking with me. I'd use them again. UPDATE: 2 years in and this fence is quite stable, no issues there. However, it needs to be sealed and/or stained. They didn't talk to us about that at all, and a contractor friend came over recently and alerted us to it being essential in maintaining the fence's integrity. The color has changed drastically and it's not all that pleasant to look at now. It's not that I wouldn't use them again - but I would discuss that part with them.

It would have been nice if at least one of them spoke excellent English. But the primary person and I were able to muddle through the gaps efficiently.

The final product from Amerifence is excellent and, if anything, exceeded our expectations. Getting there wasn't seamless, but I found them to be a good company to work with. I chose Amerifence based on their pricing and the quality of work I'd seen from them. From what I'd read in previous reviews, I emphasized with them that I wanted at least one English-speaking representative onsite at installation and their guarantee that they would be responsive if anything went wrong. The installation went well, though the workers spoke almost no English and the fence was somewhat scratched and one gate was missing a cap. I refused payment due to these small issues and a salesman promptly arrived within the week to correct them. The company worked with us to understand our vision for the fence and followed through on their promises to back up the product.

We got an estimate in a pretty timely manner. We were considering them for doing the work.

The original sales rep, Shannon Gardner, was very friendly and informative. He answered all of our questions and described the product and installation thoroughly. The Hispanic crew arrived on the appointment date and worked all day to complete the installation. On the north gate, my husband suggested the post should be anchored to the house to give stability to the gate. This was not done. Generally, the fence looked as we expected, the crew worked steadily and we were generally satisfied with the product. However, within a month or so, the weight of the gate pulled in the support post and the gate is wedged together and cannot be opened. We contacted Amerifence and a man came out, inspected the fence and agreed that the fence should have been anchored to the house for support. We were assured someone would be back to fix it in a few days. Nothing happened. We waited, assuming the summer season was busy and they weren't putting this at a high priority. My husband called the first of September and complained about the problem. We have a trailer behind the fence we cannot access. The person at Amerfence said, and quot;I thought that had been taken care ofand quot; and agreed to call us back. On Sept. 26, again after no response, I contacted the company. I spoke with Judy who asked to put me on hold. When she returned to the phone, she explained the problem should have been cared for and advised she would call me back the same day with a solution. As of Sept. 29, we have not been contacted and the gate is still wedged shut.

The company called the day before the job was to be completed and informed me that there would be a one day delay in getting started due to a problem with the fence manufacturer. When the installer finally showed up around 10:30 he was very polite and appeared very competent. After the installer looked at the job and reviewed the material list, he called the owner of the company to explain that there were some issues with the job. I had gotten up early in the morning to rent a sod cutter to cut a swath of sod out from under where the fence was to be installed. I made the cut and then the installer decided that we were on top of the cable line. I had show him the markings when he laid out the fence line. He moved the line and I cut the sod again. Once we had the location determined, the installer began laying out the location of the posts. This is when he discovered that the measurements that the salesman had provided would not allow for symmetrical panels to be installed. Instead of having all fence section the same length presenting a uniform appearance, the sections would be varying lengths and not look visually appealing. Other issues were also discovered with the gates and location of posts up against the buildings. The installer and I discussed the issues and decided that we needed to summon the owner to work out the issues. When the owner arrived, all he wanted to accomplish was getting the fence installed with the materials on hand regardless of the appearance. I made what I felt were some significant concessions, but I was not willing to accept the uneven fence sections with one section being 6' and the next being 8', 10' or even 12'. I informed the owner that I was not satisfied with his final proposal on how to proceed. We decided that the contract would be nullified. I ended up with two strips of sod cut from my yard and no fence installed until approximately 5 weeks later by a different company. I can only guess what the fence would have looked like had I not been home to supervise this job. I have concluded that this company does not care about quality of workmanship or customer satisfaction. I would advise anyone seeking a fence to beware of this company and make sure that your contract clearly states that the job should be done to your satisfaction.

Free in-home estimate was scheduled and sales rep was on-time and very engaged. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work with us to find the best option. He quoted us a price that was better than the box stores and threw in extras for free like posts, top cut, and even 3 free gates. Unfortunately, our HoA did not approve our selection so we reached out to the sales rep to make another selection and get an updated quote. After leaving 3 voicemails and multiple emails, he never actually picked up the phone to call us back. More than a week has gone by and the most we've gotten out of him was an email saying and quot;Call me on Sat morning, I should have my phone on me.and quot; Which we did and got no answer and no return call. Paying $5700 for a fence is a big investment for us and we find it unacceptable to receive this lack of response. We will be using another company.

I was upset with them because they didn't put any handle on my doors. I have two doors, one on each side of my house for my privacy fence and they just said, well you didn't negotiate it. I said who negotiates the handle on the door? You would think that will come with the deal. During the negotiation of the contract, always talked to one of the owners, but I haven't been able to talk to him. When I called, I am always just talking to the lady that answers the phone. Probably about six months ago, part of the opening of the door came apart. I called them out to come to see it and they said I'll have to pay for that. I said you just need to come to see what's happening and they never did call me back or show up.

Installers first went over details before starting. Kept us informed throughout process and if anything arose they came to us for our opinion with suggestions on proceeding. They were very professional and extremely hard working throughout the day. Would highly recommend amerifence to anybody. Minor changes were met with no problems, made you feel in total controller of project.

Mike initially came to our home and provided us with an estimate. He was very thorough in all aspects, and when he left, both my husband and I were very excited about our new fence. Two gentleman came over on the day the job was scheduled; both of which were very nice. When I came home from work that same day, I was thrilled with the results. The fence is exactly what we pictured it to be. We will definitely refer Amerifence to our friends and family. Thanks again!

We had 3 workers that completed our fence in 1 day. They were polite hard workers and did a great job! Our yard was large which kept them working into the evening. Our fence is sturdy and well put together. The wood is cedar which lasts longer and holds it shape. The posts were dug 3 feet deep making this fence sturdy. The fence is quality and was noticed by our neighbors. The neighbors surrounding our yard were just as happy as we were by building an attractive quality fence.

They did a great job. We were really happy with them and their work.

It went well. There was a little difficulty with crew as they did not speak english well and I dont speak spanish much.

We were impressed with the quality of construction and pricing which is why we selected Amerifence. The salesman spent a good amount of time thouroughly explaining the construction and materials and gave us a quote before leaving our house. After talking about the 4 ft fence my husband and I decided we would rather change to a 6 ft privacy fence. We called the salesman and changing the fence type was no issue. The cost was only slightly higher. On the day of installation, the crew arrived timely and got right to work measuring and laying everything out. Our salesman stopped by at the beginning to check on the crew and with us to make sure everything was right. We had palnned on two gates and had to make a change to one gate due to structural issues but the crew quickly analyzed the situation and came up with an excellent solution that worked well for us. I was impressed with the skill level of the crew and did not find any difficulty in communicating with them. The fence looked so nice people stopped the crew members to ask for a business card. We love our fence and have received many compliments.

The sales person was very thorough in explaining the options and describing the available designs and material. The quality of the material and workmanship is excellent. The gentlemen who installed the fence arrived at 9:30 am and worked straight through until 5:00 pm. They did a great job. I have received several compliments on the fence already.

It went very well. Even though there was an issue with some of the post placement, they came out and remedied the situation without any questions asked

Amerifence did a fantastic job replacing an existing wood privacy fence with a combination of a new wood privacy fence and a aluminum fence surrounding our pool. Their prices were low and they had more choices of wood fences than any other contractors. The fence is a very nice quality and is a great improvement for our home. Amerifence was on time and worked hard to complete the entire fence in only one day. I would highly recommend Amerifence. .

Amerifence was recommended by our builder. Their price was pretty competitive so had them come out and give us a quote. We had to reschedule due to rain the first time so Mike came in few days later to give us a quote. After we settled on the final figures, they wanted me call 811 (holy moly) to come out and stake the backyard for any gas or electric lines. I also had my irrigation company to come out and flag the irrigation lines as well. Amerifence crew, as I had feared, punctured the irrigation system line and refused to take responsibility. I sent several emails to Mike directly with no response whatsoever and also to him front line scheduler. They cashed my check and ignored me completely. I had to have my irrigation guys come back and redo all the lines they punctured which cost around $400 or so. This was a horrible experience at the end and we will not use them again.

The person giving the estimate was 15 minutes to half an hour late. He did not call to advise of his running late. He was very nice and personable. He was very informative.

They did a great job! The fence is beautiful and we were very impressed with their work.
