The project went well and fence looks great. Better than expected.

Terrible!!! I trusted Angi with a recommendation and it has been the worst experience and will not look to Angi.com again. They put up my fence and the wood is split and the cuts are not straight. -gate doesn’t close completely and the latch on one of the gates is upside down. - I paid for my existing fence to be removed and they left 4 posts sticking out of the ground -they were supposed to remove the dirt from digging holes for the posts but they spread the dirt in my grass and flower bed and then it rained and I have a mud pit now -they left their food trash laying in my yard If I could review Angi.com they would get 0 stars

I was charged $812 to ‘destroy’ my fence posts. The original request was to lower the fence posts so they stop coming out of the ground. I was quoted to ‘dig down and repack/reset’ the posts. It was quoted at 1/2 day. When the two man crew showed up, they were on location for 30 minutes, hitting the top of the posts with a sledgehammer. I contacted Mike to express my concern with the outcome. He contacted the men and they called me back stating ‘we just did what we were told’. On day two, the same two men showed up, unannounced. She was unable to answer due to work. I expressed the day before that they should call me as I was able to answer any questions. They came back and destroyed four fence posts. They cut a fence post off instead off instead of doing anything. Then left three caps to my fence laying in the yard with nails in them. I have two young kids AND neighbor kids who regularly play in our yard. She expressed that she would reach out to the owners to have them call me.

Great service-owner repaired a section of fence and gate that had been damaged by wind. No service charge - very appreciative of the company for this. The vinyl fence was installed in 2018 and has held up very well overall through many wind storms.

The crew did show up on time. Neither of the two-member crew on-site spoke any English. The language barrier caused a great deal of issue throughout the day, especially when they hit our "Private Utility" water line. My spouse and I were very surprised when we called the office that this was 110% on us and they could finish the project but if we wanted our well water line repaired or replaced that would be on us and out of our pocket! Every time we needed to communicate to the crew, we had to call the office and relay the message. Then the office would call the crew chief that spoke multiple languages, that was on another "more important" job, and the crew chief would call the crew on at our location. The salesperson Mike Speek Jr. spoke eloquently and sold the job as he should have and has been trained to do. I have found out that his father actually owns the country. The day we had issues during our install the phone number he left as his "personal" number didn't work so everything had to be communicated to the office. The two-member crew installed the fence wonderfully. Looks and works great. However, the clean-up of our 2 sidewalks and driveway and flower beds were really left in a poor condition. They "swept" the drive and sidewalks but still left a lot to be desired. The next day we used our hose and shop broom to clean and make presentable and then waited for that to dry and finished with a leaf blower. I was amazed at the number of tools they carried with them but a leaf blower was not one of them, which would have made our area look presentable immediately. Again, the fence looks amazing. For almost $4k dollars, we should not have had to pay a plumbing company to fix our water line, at a cost of $800.00. The area should have been left as they found it and the salesperson (the owner's son) should have left us a real cell phone number to contact. And at least point out to us, in the very small print on the back of the contract, that if there were any "private utilities" on the property, that if a problem occurred, it would be our responsibility and financial responsibility to fix and repair. I am sure had there not been water spewing out the ground the language barrier would have been a much lesser issue. Again, this should have been communicated to us. We have enough friends that we could have asked one to have shared our day and to help translate had "we" known. At this point I would not recommend AMERIFENCE to any of our friends or anyone else looking for a fence to be installed.

Shannon provided feedback about the current life of my fence and was brutally honest in stating that it wasn’t time yet to replace it. I appreciate his honesty and tips on how to repair the one fence post that was rotted out. In the coming years when I look to replace or upgrade the fence I’d definitely seek their services again.

From the time the sales rep, Zach, came out til the fence was installed I received nothing but pros who were on time, knowledgeable and professional. My fence is beautiful and highly recommend!!!

The quality of the fence and installation crew was not nor has it been an issue. What is a major issue is the non-existing customer service. Nearly 20 phone calls and two years later we may be getting the issue fixed. Ridiculous and unacceptable for a fence costing nearly $20,000; we regret ever going with Amerifence.

It went very well. We had 120 ft or so of aluminum fence installed. Installers were on time, very respectful and hard working. Overall, the project lasted a few hours. The installers hauled the dirt to the location I asked also which was greatly appreciated. They answered all of the questions my wife and I had. A few months after installation, we had a slight issue with the fence gate latch, and the team was prompt to come back out and address the problem.

FROM THE CONSULTATION TO THE INSTALL EVERYTHING WENT GREAT. WE HAD A COUPLE OF MINOR ISSUES AFTER THE INSTALL, MIKE FROM AMERIFENCE CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND IS HANDLING OUR ISSUES HIMSELF. I had a great experience working with Amerifence. I had planed on getting a fence for more than a year and had our sales rep Zack come out to our house several times. He was very kind and patient with me while I figured out exactly what I wanted. I never felt pressured into making a decision. Customer service at the home office was wonderful & extremely helpful. On the day of installation it became apparent that I had ordered the wrong size fence and that my small dogs would be able to squeeze through. I called the home office who had one of the owners come right out. Mike, was understanding and compassionate and went over and above to help solve the problem. The workers were very professional and did a fantastic job. I had a wonderful experience working with Amerifence. The fence ended up looking amazing and has been great for our family. Now we are able to enjoy our yard with our small dogs and have peace of mind when we let them out. This could have been a nightmare particularly during this pandemic, but Amerifence and their amazing team made the whole process enjoyable. I thought customer service was a thing of the past but Amerifence proved me wrong. Thank you Amerifence!!!

It went well. They removed the old fence and set the new fence posts. They got it all done within one day! I would recommend them to others.

Amerifence has installed two vinyl fences for me. Zach McFarland is a great sales rep. Zach helped me with both installations and was very professional and responded to my inquiry almost immediately. The price is a little high but they offer a lifetime guarantee and their products are great. The installers showed up on time. They were very professional and courteous. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fence.

The man that came out (Shannon Gardner) give us the estimate. Gave us a couple of fence options, wood or vinyl. He explained vinyl fence, very good quality product. Very helpful. Give us estimate right on the spot. Very good person. Very knowledgeable. We really appreciate on how they handle things.

The new fence looks amazing!!! Amerifence did a great job. They were able to work me into the schedule quickly for a quote. I did pay extra to have them haul away the dirt, it was very worth the extra charge. I would highly recommend Mike Jr., Janis & Raul and his crew.

Initial Contact: Amerifence was quick to respond to my inquiry about a fence replacement. The sales rep made a visit and measured out the area. After about 10 minutes we were discussing the options for replacing our old fence. I was getting quotes from other providers in the area and I was not pressured into making a decision at the moment or hounded daily for a response. Installation: I was quoted a start time of 8-9am and the installers showed up just about 9am. It took most of the day until 4pm. They worked continuously through the day and our new fence looks great. Overall: The price was a bit higher than we expected however to replace an old pine fence to this beautiful cedar fence was worth the cost. Our only complaint, which was minor, is that we asked for the old fence and dirt to be hauled away. They did haul the fence away, but several piles of dirt were left behind. Not a huge problem as I can find a use for the dirt around the property.

We went with Amerifence because they were able to accommodate our fence wishlist for the best price. However, we had many problems with them. My wife went out to check on them a few hours after they'd arrived, only to discover they were not installing the fence in a straight line. First, they claimed that she had moved their line, which is not true. Then they insisted that it WAS straight (when it obviously wasn't). They'd already put several posts in concrete, and of course didn't want to start over. They were very argumentative. But we held our ground, and they finally agreed to start over. There were multiple instances of shoddy workmanship. We wanted one side of the fence to be a couple feet away from the garage and cut back in. But instead they ran it right up to the garage, blocking a gutter downspout. Vertical slats on the top were crooked. Nails protruded from the wood. They didn't put handles on the gates. It was several weeks until they came back to finish the job. The sales guy and the front office were rude and argumentative, saying we were the ones at fault. Eventually they stopped returning our calls. I guess insisting that our fence be installed correctly labeled us as "nuisance customers". It gets worse. We had a 7 foot fence installed, which we found out later was against city zoning ordinance. Admittedly, the contract DOES state that the homeowner is responsible for knowing the local ordinances... and since we signed this contract, the fault lies with us. However, it seems negligent and unprofessional to not at least INFORM the customer of these ordinances. Any large fencing company must know what they are, for the areas they service. Then the customer could decide if they wanted to risk it anyway (we sure wouldn't have). Anyway, 7 months later we were able to get a variance, after much hassle and expense..

Showed up late, then said they would have an estimate to me within a couple of days. Never emailed the estimate. After calling and emailing the guy several times to try and get the estimate they still never responded and never got it to me. I gave up and decided if they can't even get me an estimate they likely wouldn't show up to do the work. Just wish I wouldn't have wasted an hour of my time waiting on him to show up and listening to the sales pitch.

Amerifence originally installed my cedar fence in 2003. The fence needs several repairs. I have been calling and emailing Amerifence since the first week of July 2017 to get an estimate. It is now the 2nd week of September 2017 and no estimate. I have not been able to get return phone calls or emails.

I should have known from the very effective sales pitch that the job would not go smoothly. I'm happy with the quality of the fence I received, but I believe I could have received the same quality product from any local company. After the initial install date I had to call the main number just to find out when the workers were going to actually finish the fence. The office didn't even know they didn't finish it. There is also a large gap on one side of my fence that looks ridiculous. I have been waiting for weeks for them to fix it, and every time I call they have a different excuse or story about when they are going to take care of it. I paid way too much money for the service I received. I would not recommend them.
