Amerifence

I spoke with a Judy who answered the phone and asked me to email her some pictures and a description of what we needed. I did that and also sent a follow up email 2 days later and we never heard a word from the company ever. If you don't want the job please contact customers rather than leave them hanging. The search continues..

They installed the wrong caps on the top of the fence, so we had to call them to come back out to fix that. We also were without a gate for a while. It was a custom size and they must not have measured correctly, so we were without a gate for about a week. They were the cheapest.

Work was completed in one day, as promised. The fence looks great!

Price that he quoted seemed very reasonable. Shannon arrived when he said he would for the quote. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I was splitting the cost of the fence with my neighbor, who preferred to use someone else. We ended up hiring his guy. I won't mention who it was, but didn't turn out well and wish I would have hired Amerifence. Neighbor went with the other company, as he was cheaper and it was a friend of his. I was fine with that, until we saw the finished product. Not my neighbors fault. We thought we were in good hands. Lesson learned. I would call Shannon next time I need a fence.

Second time I have used Amerifence and both times I have had a positive experience. Their prices are very competitive and the company is easy to work with. We had to postpone several times due to weather, and the office staff worked hard to keep us in the near term schedule. The salesperson was helpful and friendly, and the installation crew was professional. The only thing I would say as a potential negative is that they do not automatically take away the dirt piles generated where post holes are dug. I was told that they will do that for a fee. It was not a big deal to me as I actually needed the dirt for another project. Overall, I would recommend.

At first we had a couple of hitches but it did go well overall. They were very professional and hardworking. They arrived on time, and sales men that sold us the fence was very professional as well. They had originally loaded the truck with the incorrect fencing, and once it was built we noticed that it was the different fencing. The owner of the company came right out and was willing to replace the fencing to what we wanted. It turns out that the fencing that was installed was a little bit better structural wise, we are thinking about sticking with the fence that we have. I was very pleased with the owner of the company for coming right out and was very willing to fix the issue.

Horribly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Our ordeal started with a "salesman" coming to our home, selling us on the "Certainteed" name brand product, 6' privacy fence with a beautiful 6' to 4' sloped fence in the rear of our home. A few days later, we called and scheduled the installation of our fence for 4/21/2016. As the date drew closer, my fiance attempted several times to contact our salesman in an effort to confirm our install. When he finally was able to get a hold of him, the salesman explained that he cannot confirm our install date due to a material shortage of the sloped Certainteed panels that we had chosen. Once off the phone, my fiance contacted the Certainteed factory (here in Indiana) and lo and behold - they had the panels! There was never a shortage. My fiance insisted on speaking to the Manager of this "salesman" and the Manager acted like he was equally disgusted with the fact that his salesman sold us something that they didn't carry (EVER) and that they would not even be using the Certainteed product on our fence. Knowing that we were on a deadline, my fiance and I settled for a sloped fence that was less appealing and the Manager knocked some minor money off for our inconvenience. The day of installation, it was pouring rain and they sent two (2) gentleman out to install the entire fence. The gentlemen were nice enough and helped us work through some placement issues. Unfortunately, along comes rain, comes mud so, our yard was left with a lot of ditches made by their work boots, all the sod that had grown from the seed was trampled on, our screened in porch (with a brand new rug) where the stored their power equipment while working was a muddy mess as was our front lawn where they scraped the mud off their boots and left it. Even better...the gate that they brought for our fence, was not a good fit for our sloped landscape so, they left us with an installed fence with no gate. When I asked them when the gate would arrive, the gentleman said he has no idea because they are so busy. Three (3) days later, my fiance and I left for Mexico for six (6) nights, upon our return we couldn't help but to notice that our gate had still not been installed. We each called Amerifence steadily for the next couple days with no return phone calls from the not-so-friendly woman in the office. In the meanwhile, I was leashing up my two (2) dogs and walking them at all hours of the day and night to potty because there was no gate on our fence...not even a temporary "something". On May 4th, 2016 at 11:30am I called the office again and had the nicer lady take a message regarding the fact that we had been paid in full and missing a gate for the last 13 days. She promised me a call back...Well, needless to say, that never happened so after waiting five (5) hours, I called the office back at 4:30pm, I was finally able to speak to the rude lady in the office, explained my situation and she made is sound like I was unreasonable for being upset because they "were busy and backed up due to the rain". She promised our gate install that Saturday (16 days after we were paid in full and had the fence up). SHAME ON US ASSUMING THAT THEY WOULD BRING A FENCE POST CAP THAT HAD BEEN MISSING SINCE DAY ONE, AT THE TIME OF THE GATE INSTALLATION! I received a phone call early one morning and they did come out a day or two early with our gate. No one was home at the time so we were unable to address the missing fence post cap and two large dents in 1 of the panels. We are disgusted by this company because of the bait and switch on product, the lack of care and respect to our home, the fact that to this day, we still have not received everything that we paid for and the fact that they did not mention/try to remedy the two (2) huge dents in the one (1) panel. Specializing in construction and restoration for the last 10 years, all I can say is: SHAME ON YOU AMERIFENCE.

Everything went very well. This was winter, and we were afraid that they wouldn't be able to complete the job until spring, but they assured us that they did this work year round. The fence was installed and looked great. However, our dog, a beagle, was able to get out from under the gate. Obviously, a beagle isn't a small dog, and we were wanting to have the gate lowered if possible. This problem took awhile for them to address. It is possible that the delay was because of winter weather or winter staffing, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. After they lowered the gate, everything was great. We love our fence and would recommend this company for your fencing needs.

They were wonderful! I couldn't have worked with a better company. They were professional, did great work, and were flexible.

Mike, one of the owners was out to see us on three different occassions to deal with us changing our minds on the area we wanted fenced. He was professional and very customer friendly. He was on the job site over the two day install. His crew was top notch and very eager to please. We are very happy with the finished product. I highly recommend Amerifence if you are considering a new or replacement fence. Five Stars!!

We called about a month ago and got an estimate on our fence. The person that came out with the estimate, Shannon, did a really good job explaining everything and even showed me some pictures of an alternate fence that wasn't pictured on the website. We decided to go with that alternate style. We were happy with the price so went forward with it. About a week after the estimate I called and asked if we could raise the fence and since the specific type of fence Shannon had to make sure with his boss, which is completely fine. Within five minutes he calls back and says they can do it and tells me the new price which was perfect. About a week ago they came out and installed the fence and got it all done in a day (14 hours) which was surprise to us because we were quoted for a day and a half of work. The only problem with the fence is the picture that was shown was not the same as what was installed. Not a huge problem because we still love it. We have a three rail, 5 ft high, with wire, we were worried about how strong the wire would be at the bottom but the installers did a great job. They made it nice and tight and even told us alternate solutions if a problem does arise. They were very friendly and courteous while they were working on the fence. Next year we will be fencing in the rest of the yard and we will definitely be calling Shannon and Amerifence.

Our neighbors used this company for a backyard fence and recommended them so that we could continue the same fence on our property. They gave me a card with the direct number for their salesperson and I called and left a very detailed voice message. That was weeks ago and I still have not heard back. We got an estimate from another company and still wanted to compare quotes. Against my better judgment I called the main office for Amerifence and again left a detailed message including the fact that we were a referral, who referred us, the type of fence we wanted, how many feet and gates we needed, etc. I did everything but install the fence for them and, more than a week later, have not heard a word. I would NEVER use this company. It is very telling that they cannot be bothered to respond to even one, let alone two attempts to contact their offices. I can only imagine (if you can get them to call you back) you will be taking a huge gamble on their product and service.

We ended up going with someone else because the price was much lower. Nevertheless, the salesman was extremely professional and friendly. We would have been comfortable using them if we had not found a lower price.

The process went very smoothly--the sales rep and office were friendly and responsive; everything went exactly as anticipated. The installers were diligent, careful, quiet, and cleaned up after themselves. They made a few decisions based on my unusual yard (it's heavily wooded), but they were careful to show me why they did what they did and asked my approval. The result is beautiful.

Originally received a quote in October, but decided to wait until spring to get a fence installed after HOA said we couldn't do the first one due to the height. Bob was very informative of the whole fence install process and gave us a lot of information to make our decision. They were very competitive with another fence company quote. This spring we called them back after deciding on a different style fence. Setting up the install with Janice went very well and fence was installed on the date we decided on. Install went well and the fence looks great!

It went fine. The tech that came worked very efficiently, and my fence looks like a fence again.

They worked on everything. They installed it and did it quick and left everything pretty clean. They were good. I would recommend them.

Mike Speek came to do a quote/consultation with me. I gave him a vague idea of what kind of fence I was wanting and what area I wanted it to enclose. I gave him the survey and plot plan of my property and he went over easements, property lines, and marked where the fence should lay according to those guidelines. He showed me pictures on a tablet of what options I had for wooden fencing (which was what I wanted). He drew up a detailed estimate with measurements and costs. We scheduled a tentative appointment for two weeks later. Janis, at the office, was great to work with. She was friendly and told me exactly what I needed to do before my installation date. On the day of the installation, the crew came early and they went over measurements with us again. They helped us clear out some areas of brush we had missed for clearer path for the fence. They got to work right away and got the whole fence completed in no time! The owner, Frank Speek, stopped by to check on the progress and make sure we were happy with everything. The fence turned out great! It's perfectly installed and looks fantastic. There was no mess left and I could not be any happier with how it turned out. I would recommend this company to anyone for all fencing needs. Overall, they were very responsive, friendly, and do great work in a timely manner!

Went pretty well. Got a great price; just make sure you go over the linear feet with the sales rep and how it is going to be installed, because I had no clue they were tying into my neighbors fence. So I had to reschedule and get it remeasured before they dug any more holes to install. But over all happy.

The sales person was very good and professional.The workers who did the job did not speak english,I told them where the sprinkler beds were and not to dig there and they dug there and damaged 4 heads of sprinkler and damaged the lines. Even as I told them they kept digging and just did not seem to care. i called the office and told them and she said she will call them and ask them to be careful but more damage.

We had to have Amerifence out three different times to measure and provide consultation. Once was our fault because we needed to have trees removed and the salesman couldn't schedule until that was done. But once we did that, we had to keep calling him and texting him trying to get the install set up. When we finally got him to call us back (after calling the company's main line) he had to come out, remeasure, requote. He told me the fence would be installed during a certain week and would follow up with a new drawing, new quote and confirm date but he never did. My husband kept texting and finally got a hold of him, he came out a third time and that time we were finally asked to pay and a date was booked. As a result, the fence went in almost a month later then we hoped, the weather was already getting cold, and we now have huge piles of mud in our back yard around where the posts were dug that we were not anticipating. If you use this company be prepared to have a wheelbarrow and several people available the day of or day after to transport all the dirt that is removed to put the fence posts in because it will quickly harden and be difficult to remove.
