Altic Lock Service

I was very happy with him and he is now our locksmith now. He's always been on-time and very responsive. He coordinated very well with the real estate agent.

Talked to Barry about possibly opening a lock on my arcade machine. He was honest and up front advising me he may not be my best choice for my particular area of need. Can't ask for much more in terms of honesty and great customer service.

We got a quote from Altic and they were able to come out to re-key our locks the very same day. They were on time and extremely professional. The whole job was done in a reasonable amount of time and was very affordable. I will use Altic again for any and all of my lock needs and will highly recommend them to all of my friends.

The broken latch was discovered at 12:00 PM; I removed the knob but was unable to free the stuck latch. Found Altic on Angie's List; called at 1:PM; Barry arrived at 1:45PM and completed the job by 2:30PM. He was knowledgeable, professional, and more than capable in solving the lock issue. Would definitely use him again should the need arise.

Went really well. When the door was no longer operable today (Sunday) I called a provider we had used off the list before, but they are not open on the weekends and I wasn't able to leave a message. Rechecked the list and came up with Altic who has Sunday hours. Within 1/2 of my call, Altic showed up and within a half an hour repaired the door lock and now it works really well.

I called on a Friday, and Barry came out on Saturday to fix our sliding glass door lock. It was to the point where it wouldn't lock at all anymore. He fixed it quickly, and now--finally, after 10 years of struggling with that thing--it's perfect! Wish I'd called him a long time ago. Looking over the reviews for all the A-rated locksmith companies, it seemed to me that Barry had the best prices around, and that those low prices weren't at all hurting the quality of work he does. For this type of work, I also preferred a one-man operation to the companies that consist of several employees, wherein you don't know who you will get or how much experience they've had, or whether they are trustworthy enough to be dealing with the security of your home in the first place. After checking out Alticlock.com, the decision was clear. We were thrilled with the work, the price, everything. Will definitely use him again in the future!

This provider was courteous and timely. He also gave us some tips for our current setup. The only reason I gave them a B on quality is that after he left, our front door fixture was loose. Otherwise, it would have been an A. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other estimates we had received.

It was fantastic! We set up the appointment two days in advance, and he was able to fit us in on a Saturday. Barry showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work on re-keying. I appreciated his expertise on the front door lock, and he had a matching replacement in his truck to take care of it right then. He also noticed a flaw with how one of the existing deadbolts had been installed that caused the bolt to not be able to fully extend and lock, and fixed it for us without an additional charge. It took about a hour and a half total for all the work. We're very happy with Barry's service, and will definitely call him if I need any locksmithing work in the future!

I spoke to Barry about a week before I scheduled him to do the repair. He provided courteous details as to what would be needed to do the job and the cost. Once I purchased the door handle I contacted him. Due to an opening in his schedule he was able to come the same day and complete the work. Barry only replaced the latch and did not need to use the entire new handle saving me money. He made sure everything was working properly. Another door handle required cleaning so that the lock would operate normally. Barry definitely deserves the Super Service Award. I look forward to using his service in the future.

Barry arrived as scheduled, assessed the 2 doors and locks, and explained what he recommendations were. He projected that it would take about an hour to complete. The work was completed in about the time he projected. He made a couple of other suggestions regarding security, which were appreciated. We declined at this time, but would definitely consider him if we change our mind.

I called Barry on a Saturday morning and told him about an emergency situation regarding our entry lock at my Church. He responded very quickly and was out to the Church within a couple of hours and replaced the entry lock and also re-keyed another door as well. He provided excellent service.

Barry was quite professional. He explained to us why it was so hard for us to get a lock for our door. Our door was handmade and was unusually thick - over 2.and quot; It is hard to find locks made for doors of that thickness. He had a lock and he was also able to adjust it to our other door key. He also found a dead bolt so we do not need to use the key to lock it from the inside. The new lock works beautifully and it is so nice to be able to enter our house through the front door rather than the back door. With our back door he cleaned the lock so that the key works much smoother and you do not feel as if you are forcing the lock and might break the key. Overall, he was professional, knowledgeable, gave us interesting information and performed his work in a timely fashion. I highly recommend him.

When I called the company to request the service I thought the lock was broken and needed to be replaced i spoke to Barry and after explaining to him what the lock was doing he stated that it might just need to be aligned rather than replaced. The gentleman arrived on time as requested on time and stated he wanted to check the lock to see if in fact it need to be replace or if it could be fixed. Once he checked the door to my he stated that the lock was ok and he would just need to realign. He readjusted the lock and re-set the lock and it worked fine. Since I was starting to have the same problem with another door I ask if he had time to look at it as well. He stated he did and it was having the same problem. He readjusted it the same as the other door and they now work perfectly! I found Mr Campbell to be very professional and very helpful and honest by identifing the locks for repair and not replacement which save me the money. Both lock are now working as good as new!

I should have called them weeks ago! The latch on our door to the garage no longer exited the door and we put off fixing it. I finally had enough and found Altic Lock Service here on Angie’s List. I called around 9:30 on a Monday and he was here by 11:30! Mr. Campbell was able to replace the latch and then showed me a couple of problems that kept our locks from working as they should. He then gave me a quick estimate on the cost of that repair. I asked him to do the repair on the garage entry door. When he was lubricating the locks he found the same problem on the front door and fixed that as well. Along with all that he made 2 spare keys for me and was finished ithin an hour! Quick, painless, professional. The cost was astonishingly low! The next time I need a locksmith I will definitely call Altic!

It took less than an hour to rekey all of the locks of my new home. The locks that did not have keys were tougher as a result, but he managed to get the job done. I called on a Monday and he came on Wednesday when I was planning to be at the house working. I felt the price was reasonable and will certainly call on him again should I ever need a locksmith.

Lost keys to an out building. Researched for a locksmith and called Alitc Lock Service on 10/24. An appointment was scheduled for 9:00 am on 10/25. to have service done. Barry from Altic was very prompt showing up at 8:55. Barry was able to gain entry to the door in about 10 minutes. I decided to have the door lock rekeyed. Barry proceeded to disassemble the lock. A part internal to the lock was found to be broken. I decided that we needed to replace the whole lock. Barry had the replacement on his truck and it was installed in about 15 minutes. Very prompt and knowledgeable. Would definitely use Altic again if the need arises.

A telephone call to ALTIC Lock was answered and I was given fees and approximate total costs. An appointment was made for 2 1/2 hours after the original contact. Mr. Campbell arrived a few minutes prior to the agreed time neat and proper clothing. He was shown the problem with the current locks and what was desired. He then gave the total charge after asking certain desires on my part. Within one and one-half hours, all four locks had been rekeyed, the desired muliple keys made, a system to identify the approiate key to lock was done (not available on previous work) and a bill was presented. This is a gentleman, very professional in nature with excellant customer relations. Shown the problem, askes the correct questions and desires, and the job is done promptly, neatly and professional. Any and quot;locksmithand quot; future problems will be called directly to ALTIC Lock Companyu without hesitation!

I moved into my house a little over a year ago and have been intending to re-key the locks since I moved in. I finally got around to doing it. I check for locksmiths on Angies' List and ended up calling two. Altic gavte me a lower estimated cost so I had them do the job. The technician arrived right on time and went right to work once I showed him the lock I wanted re-keyed. While replacing one of the locks he showed me a damaged cylinder. I asked him if he could replace it and how much it would cost. The replacement was $15 so I had him do the work. He also adjusted the plate on the door frame and generally tightened and realigned all the locks. I would definately use Altic again or recommend them to a friend.
