Description of Work: This company was very prompt and seemingly professional at first. I needed my home inspected for possible bed bug activity. Darrell was on time, informative, and seemingly concerned about my issue however after he inspected my home and discovered my bed bug activity was mainly active in one room of my house he seemed to become irritated. After inspected my bedrooms, first level, and basement he quoted me a price of $3000 for heat treatment and mind you he told me I had to have all the money up front no payments would be allowed and if I wanted a warranty or monthly maintenance treatments that would be an additional fee. He also ask me if I had a tax check coming soon I could use to pay him in full. He never explained how he came up with this price. He had no paperwork and also told me because I had my washer and dryer in the basement my cost would go up drastically. Obviously, I was already very fearful and worried about the bed bug issue in my home which I have no doubt he could see in face. I felt as though this company tried to capitalize on my fear. After having other companies come to my home to do a thorough inspection, and explaining how the heat treatment works and how much it should cost and why, I know Action Pest Control didn't have my best interest in mind. I chose another company to do the heat treatment for a fraction of the price and the price included a monthly maintenance treatment for not only bed bugs but any other insects or little pest that may try to get into my home. I was also allowed to make payments. I'm glad I did more research because in my opinion, this companies A rating is way overrated. I felt totally taken advantage of.

Description of Work: I have been using Action Pest for a while now. They come out about every other month and charge $89 per visit, but they will also make extra trips if requested at no charge. Only once was I unhappy with my service and they responded by not charging me that visit. Their techs are very polite, professional and know what they are doing.
