Acme Plumbing Drain & Septic Svc

They're punctual, they're honest, they do a good job and they've been dependable whenever we call them in the past. In fact this time while they were pumping my septic system, our neighbor came over and asked the guy "Will you have time to do another one, could you do mine?" He said yes, he got over there, looked at it but said "You know I can do this but it doesn't need it yet, you still got a couple of years before you need this to be done." So that is honesty, cause I mean he was right there he can just do it but he don't really need to, they were okay.

Service man was on time, polite, professional, even took time to explain what he was doing to my cat, because the cat kept standing on him while he worked! Very patient service man!

We called Rick told him that we had a pool contractor at our house and needed him to come out and mark our septic fingers as quickly as possible. This occurred on a Saturday. He did come out asap. We pointed out where we thought the finger was, he stuck a rod in the ground confirmed that yes it was a finger and spray painted the grass marking the area of that ONE finger. He then proceeded to chat with the contractor that we were having issues with, they were old acquaintances. We ended up having to move the pool and needed to know the location of the first finger. On Monday, I called him back and asked him to please mark all the fingers since that is what we paid for. He told me that since my fiance said he didnt have to mark the other fingers while he was here it was going to cost me another $165.00. He told me to mark them myself. When i asked how far i should measure over he said he didnt know. He was so rude on the phone that i finally said thank you for your services and hung up. All he did was to stick a rod in the ground where we pointed to, it took him less then 5 minutes. I feel that he saw how the contractor was bullying us and felt he could treat us the same way. I feel like he took advantage of us and was trying to take advantage of us again. Extremely rude and terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and call someone else!

Called for a quote to hook up to the city sewer system. They came out within a couple of days. He checked with his office to see what type of sewer hook up we had. He explained he had a clay tile sewer line and advised where the hook ups were for us to connect. He provided the name of an excavating company that would be able to help us.

The spigot is working well. I was able to get an appointment made quickly and they came out the next day. When the spigot was used the day before we found out that water was not only coming out of it but also leaking into the basement. The repairman was very professional.

I needed a faucet at a rental as the tenants had broken the cold water faucet. I called & they asked if I was a previous client. I was not. I told them what I needed & was told there was a $50. trip fee that they would reduce from the bill if I went ahead & had the service performed & they wanted my credit card info. They arrived at the rental & called to tell me the could replace the faucet & there charge for this is $400. It was right before christmas & the tenants where standing there when he called me with a price. I told them to go ahead & do it because I didn't want to put it off on the tenants with no cold water in the kitchen for christmas. I agreed to the price, however I feel they knew they had me over I barrel & decided to put it to me. They did a good job on the install & everything appears to be working correctly when I checked it.

They did a good job. They were really nice and helpful. They didn't have to but they even fixed my upstairs sink. They were here when they were supposed to be. They were very punctual.

I called ACME and a plumber (Bryce) arrived within hours. Very professional in appearance and knowledge. He had the equipment (in my case, used a jetter) needed to clear the line, and, he made sure the line was cleared/cleaned completely before leaving. Excellent.

I've had several slab leaks in my old house. The typically use another company, but they were not going to be able to come out for a few weeks. Scott, from Acme, came out, performed the leak test, marked a spot and guarantee that the leak was within 12 inches of that mark. I had my regular plumber come out to dig up a 4 foot radius where he Scott said the leak were. My plumber said to call Acme back because the leak was not where he it was. I called Scott, he came back out and said that the leak was there and that my plumber just needed to dig a little closer. My plumber came back out, dug the hole, and again found nothing. I called Scott again and he said to have the plumber dig closer still. I had another company come out to perform the leak test and I paid them $375 to tell me that the leak was 7 feet away, in a completely different room. I ended up paying over $1,000.00 to find out where the leak was, as well as plumbing service. I called Acme and spoke to the manager asking for reimbursement and was told that I would not be receiving any type of refund. I am only requesting a refund of the $250 I paid them, I'm not asking them to pay for the other leak test or the labor. I would never recommend them to anyone. They did not stand behind their work or guarantee.

So far so good - only time will tell. Street was sewer work - 1 year warranty.

A call to ACME was made at 8:00 A. M. By 11:30 A. M. the repair man (Scott) arrived and installed a heating element. We appreciate the prompt response to our problem as well as the professionalism shown by Scott.

For 25 years it has been excellent! In particular, Ron and Tim are the best!

It was worth every penny. This company is outstanding. I went to them because they have the super service award. They came out within a matter of hours. I needed it fixed quickly their response time was fabulous. The service provider was extremely knowledgeable in correcting the issue. I would not hesitate a minute to use them in the future. It was usually an emergency when I did use them. The guys were polite, explained what they were doing and showed me. They used cameras for the sewers and I got a lot of information from them. They were punctual, the price wasn't bad and the guys who did it were doing dirty work but they were always professional about it and explained what they were doing. I would recommend them. If I have any plumbing problems that's who I call.

I love the work Acme Plumbing did!! They are very professional and knowledge. I had Al the plumber come out to my home on time an really helped me understand how to plumbing worked. Al of Acme Plumbing took take to explain to me what happen and how to prevent my basement flooding again. Thanks Acme and I see why you guys are highly rated on the list!

They had to dig out our front yard. They had to go through all my flower beds and they even helped me to move them. I really appreciated their help. They were just great and the work was done cleanly.

I have been really happy with them. They get here the same day that I call them. I can request for certain technicians to come out. The people I have had have been very friendly and upfront about cost and all that and also have given some pointers on how to save money. I spent $200 on that work. I was pleased with their response.

I had them come out to look at a shower head that was leaking. The man that came was very young and he looked at the leak and said that I needed to replace the spiral chord that attaches the hand held to the shower head. He then said he could not fix it and told me that I needed to buy another one. I went up to Economy Plumbing based on his reference and the man at Economy Plumbing said I should try to change the washer. I bought it for 15 cents and when I replaced the washer it worked perfectly.

It was a Saturday evening and I called Acme. They returned my call Sunday morning and they were the fastest to respond to my voice-mail of the companies I called. Their rep came out and quoted $1,138.93 very professionally on an estimate form. I did not use them even though it cost me $69 for the quote. After another plumbing company returned my call shortly after the Acme rep left, they came out in about an hour and fixed the problem for a total of under $300 using the same parts quoted by Acme (all copper - the parts were $101). The Acme rep was professional and polite but oh my gosh they are expensive. By the way, it was kind of funny that the company which fixed the problem, fixed it in about 20 minutes longer than it took Acme's rep to prepare their quote. This is the first negative review I have submitted. I feel bad about doing it but thought it might save some others quite a bit of money. Maybe it was an erroneous estimate on Acme's part but their estimate form was very detailed in their description of work and costs, so I don't believe it was.

I've used Acme on several occasions previous and up until now have been satisfied with their work and specifically their up-front no-surprises pricing. We initially called Acme to simply cut the drain pipe and install new PVC so that the sink would drain properly. While they were there they applied some finishing touches to the rest of the sink area. Caulked around the sink (with clear silicone that we provided), added a shut off valve to the existing hot water line to supply the dishwasher (but didn't connect or install the dishwasher), attached the disposal (didn't install it, I did the wiring before they got there and connected the dishwasher to it when I installed it). They also uncapped an existing gas line to the stove (again I supplied the hose and the connections). The only materials supplied by Acme were the PVC pipe, & the t-valve for the dishwasher supply. Everything else was on-site, in place, ready to go. It was clear that beyond the cutting of the drain, everything else was going to be quick and easy. Their initial up front pricing was in the ballpark of $400. After a TOTAL of three hours of work, we were charged $750. That's $250/hr. I called the next day and spoke to a supervisor who defended their up-front, add-on pricing to the last and wouldn't budge on even a partial refund or discount. Rest assured I will -NEVER- use them again, nor will do I recommend that anyone else use them.

They come every year, and I am pleased with their work.
