Acme Plumbing Drain & Septic Svc

I thought job would take several days, ended up taking less than 5 hours. U signed a contract so I paid. When all was said and done, I was charged$800.00 and hour. Way to much!

The 2 guys were very nice. It only took them an hour, and I provided the new brass faucet since they didn’t have any brass ones with them. I felt the price for 1 hour of work was extremely high.

Shane arrived the same day (withing a few hours) of my request for service, and he did a great job pumping out my tanks, He also educated me on how to maintain my tanks with Bio Clean products. I will hire them again.

Unfortunately, it did not appear the young technician sent out was highly trained. While he had a basic understanding of the plumbing business I preferred someone more experienced who could answer my questions more completely. The estimate given to me after the complete home evaluation for servicing seemed unreasonably overpriced. Consequently, I declined to accept any of the recommendations suggested and just paid for the promotional visit. I later hired another plumbing company to service what concerned me most.

They had a $39.95 whole house plumbing inspection deal so I had them out for that. The found very minor or non existent issues and came up with an estimate of around $1,500.00 to "fix" everything. So that's how they can afford to come out for $39.95. I wasn't going to post this review but they left my outside faucet on with the hose attached. It's been on for two days since they left and that part of my yard is waterlogged so that will probably cost me $100.00.

The project went well, I had them come out twice for two different but related projects, requiring video inspection and high-pressure jetter to remove clogs. I tend to hover and ask lots of questions and be engaged in the project. I wanted to watch closely since they were locating drain pipes underground in my yard that I had no idea where they ran. They had no issues with this and were happy to answer every question I had. The lead guy and additional crew he had out were personable and seemed to know what they were doing. I thought the price was fair.

Outstanding service. The Technician (Michael V) was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He noticed right away the pump was not working and the solid tank was full. He also said the water was just trickling into the tank and once he pumped some waste out suggested we flush all the toilets and see if the clean out would flush out. That work and the steady flow was restored. He also found the cord on the pump was kinked which caused it to quit working. Once he straightened it out the pump started working again. I want to thank him so much for all his help and saving us having to cable the lines and having to replace the pump! Definitely will recommend again!

I called Acme in the morning and they were able to come out right away. I laid down some floor and carpet protection since the technician would have to roll in a very heavy machine to perform the drain cleaning in the basement. Drain cleaning was completed and Ricky provided suggestions to maintain the drain systems in my house.

On a Sunday our shower drains and toilets started backing up, and we quickly determined that our septic need to be pumped out. After reviewing Angie's List, and reviewing company websites, we decided to call Acme based on the information we found. Their website stated their price for pumping out a septic was $210. We were able to contact an actual person on Sunday night who was able to take a message and let us know we would receive a call Monday morning. Acme was great about following up with us on Monday morning and were able to add us to the schedule for first thing Tuesday morning between 8am and 9am. But they did say the price on the website was not accurate it has been raised to $220. Tuesday morning came, and Acme hadn't shown up by 8:45am, so my husband called them and was told they were running behind schedule. My husband called the company at 9:15 and was told they would be to our house within 20 minutes. They actually ended arriving even later than that, at about 9:55. The employee apologized promptly for running late but assured me he would be done in time for me to head to work at 11:30. He was as good as his word and had the job done quickly and answered all the questions my husband and I had. The company knocked $10 off of our bill since they were so late, so we did end up paying the $210 that was advertised on the website. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the employee who was super friendly and professional. We will definitely use them again!

Tech was courteous and friendly. Recommended it be looked out for other issues preventatively. Will definitely consider them for future plumbing needs.

Our pump went out over Thanksgiving. I contacted ACME on Thursday AM and they were out within the hour. The tech determined the pump was completely dead, gave me a quote for a new one and had the unit installed in just a couple hours. I will be calling them in the future.

He patiently explained what he would need to do to fix the leak. Initially he told us that he would diagnose our problem on July 4th and someone would repair it on Monday. However, he exceeded our expectations and actually did the repair the same day he made the diagnosis. It is such a relief to have running water again!

No charge but said pump would need to stop working before any warranty work could be considered.

I called Acme on a Friday morning because the alarm for our septic tank pump was going off. The previous homeowners used Acme, so we figured we would use someone familiar with the system. They had someone out within 2 hours. The technician inspected the system and saw that the pump was not on. After opening the electrical box, he determined that it was an electrical problem and that the wiring needed the attention of an electrician. He was able to get the pump working for now and the problem was gone. He educated me about our system and how to properly maintain and care for it. I had a coupon for a free service call from their website, so it didn't even cost anything. He was polite, knowledgeable, and thorough (even in the -2 degree temperatures). I will contact an electrician to get a more permanent fix. We will definitely call Acme again for our septic and other plumbing needs.

I called because I thought our holding tank needed pumped out. The man on the phone asked if I would like them to come out that afternoon, which was awesome for me. I didn't expect same day service. They were their before I even got home from work and had began researching our problem. We found out that it wasn't a full tank after all, but a pump that had gone bad. He removed the pump and showed us the old one and the problem. He had a new one on his truck and he installed it that same day. He stayed until the job was finished even though he still had another appointment to get to that day. He offered great advice and helped to educate us on our system. I will definitely call this company again for any work that I need to have done. Great customer service.

We have an older home with old plumbing and they have been able to keep it going without having to replace it. They are excellent, I will always use them.

Dave Marks came out and quoted for this job earlier. On the 28th, they arrived on time with the necessary equipment to dig out old pits, change the meters and run new supply lines from meter to connections in the crawl space. We have used them twice since for other plumbing needs and will use them again.

The crew from Acme were timely and professional. They completed an on site estimate and returned within the week complete the job. They saved money and offered advice that other vendors did not. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the end results. The pricing was very reasonable and competitive. I would recommend the for any repair job.

Called at 11am and was told they would call when they where on their way. also was told it would be about 2 to 3hrs. About 1:30pm and got the call they where on their way, and would be to my house in 30min. They got to the house. Opened the access and cleaned it all out. Was told since we have 6 people in the house we should have it cleaned every 2 years. rather then the 3 uears I was told befor since 3 more people now libe in the house since that time.

Very well. The plumber tired to re-pack the old water valve but there was still a slight leak. We knew the value was due for an updated. Arrangements were made for him to come back to replace the valve completely. He was pleasant, neat and explained everything. We have used Acme Plumbing for some years. I made a mistake using another company because Acme Plumbeing was not available. I hope I never have to do that again.

They were here within an hour of me calling them and did a great job. They had the job done within 30 - 45 minutes; they were very timely. We had had a lot of snow and we live in a high water table area; it was a very busy time of year for drain companies.

Great. My washer was draining and causing water to come up in the basement drain. Technician seemed to know immediately where the clog was taking place, snaked the drain and pulled out cat hair and fixed the problem. I call ACME with all my household plumbing and drain issues and so far have been very happy with the results.
