AAA Sealcoating & Paving

I purchased a driveway asphalt sealcoating in May. I was promptly contacted by the owner to setup a date. First just let me say that my drive is over 20 years old and is at the end of it's usable life. However with proper maintenance I can still get a hand full of years out of it before we have to rip it out and start over. There are many large cracks due to the shifting concrete below and the old asphalts hardness. It has also began to chip off at the edges and the concrete is exposed in some of those areas. I have even had one company refuse to sealcoat it and instead referred me to a paving company. The previous nights I had spent cleaning the cracks of any loose or damaged sealant and removing more of the loose peices from the edges. Roland and Mike showed up on time and in good spirits as usual (this is the second year I have purchased AAA's big deal). Roland determined it would cost an additional $45 to fill the cracks on top of the deal I had purchased. They edged the drive, did a quick scrub to remove and stuck on dirt, blew the drive off and then got to work. Filling the cracks too the longest as they'd have to stop and wait for it to set up before they could move on. Over all it took a few applications before they could seal. But once they started sealing they were done in about 15mins. Mike even took the time to make sure the sealant wrapped over the edges and onto the concrete below to try to slow the loss of asphalt on the edges. All told they were there about an hour. They taped off the end of the drive and were on their way. Mike and Roland are great guys and really care for they customers, they are great assets to the company. I will be hiring them again next year.

I purchased a Big Deal which included 600 sq.ft.of sealing for $99.00 and additional sq.ft.@.18 per sq.ft.An appointment was made for 6/17/2014.The workers arrived on schedule and finished estimating the job resulting in an added 550sq.ft.AAA had done the job before with similar measurements.They performed the sealing as promised including sealing any cracks.They did an excellent job and I would use them in the future.

Everything was great. They showed up and we're already starting to weed eat around the edge of the driveway by the time I came out the front door. It was a humid day so they had to fill the cracks and head off to another job as the sealer wasn't drying quick enough. When I came home later that afternoon, the driveway was finished. Great work!

It looks great. Once they arrived, they were very efficient and polite. No spills,no mess. Looked like they could do the coating with their eyes shut. We didn't receive a call, there was just communication through Angie's List message center. I would have appreciated a call.

It went fine. He arrived when he said he would. They did the job and were gone.

Filled all cracks and applied a nicely finished sealcoat to 1700 sq. ft. driveway. Happy with their work.

The cost was expected, more due to having a larger driveway. There wasn’t any damage to the grass on either side of the driveway. Communication was fine and scheduling was very easy. The price of the service was fair.

We are very pleased with the work done. Our driveway had not been sealed for many years. AAA Sealcoating did a great job and went overboard to be sure we were pleased with their work. Workers were very friendly and professional. We will definitely use them again when it's time to reseal the driveway again. We recommend them highly.

The service turned out just fine. I spent more than the Big Deal because I had some other stuff done on top of it and my driveway is quite a bit bigger than what they were offering on the deal. I knew what I was getting into. They did a good job overall.

Actually, they came out and called me to let me know that I would not be happy with the driveway if it was only sealed. It needed to be repaired or replaced and was going to cost a lot more money than I had paid for the deal. He actually refunded the deal for me when I decided not to go ahead with the service. I really appreciate the honesty!

What they said they would do is what they did and did well

The original appointment was for 05/15, but the weather did not cooperate, so they actually came out on a Sunday and did the work. His crew was very polite, thorough and professional. They did a great job for the agreed price, no upsell, no hassle. I will be calling them again in a few years when it's time for another coat. 5 Stars ***** Thanks again.

They were fine. We thought that it would be a little different but it was good. They said our cracks were bigger than what it covered so they charged us a little bit more. The interactions with them were very good because my husband was there when they came, and I think everything was fine.

We purchased a $99 coupon for 600 square feet. The original appointment date had to be changed because of weather and we rescheduled for a later date. I called the day of the appointment and was told that we were second in line for the day. The two workers arrived at 2:00 and told us we were actually the seventh customer that day. They estimated the area and said it would be an additional $240 for our drive and an additional $60 to seal the cracks. Although this is more than we paid to another A-rated provider to do the same work in the past, we decided to go ahead since we really wanted to get the drive sealed and didn't want an additional delay. The workers went right to work preparing the drive, then patching the cracks. Altho we had never had a crew apply the sealer immediately after the crack filler, they said it would work just fine. They applied a very thick coat of sealer and did a really nice job brushing it on. They completed the entire job in about an hour. The drive looks very nice and we are optimistic it will stay looking this way for many months.

All went well except they crew was late arriving. This was OK because I really didn't have to be present for them to do this work. Oh and I bought this Big Deal last year in September. But due to other work I was having done in my garage, time ran out on the warm weather. So, AAA sealcoating honored the deal this year.

Employee of AAA arrived (Roland) and performed the work outlined in the proposal and kept us posted as he went along. He was very thorough and did a good job. Our only problem was communication and scheduling. We were delayed a week by AAA, then on the day the work was done, it was done much later in the day than stated. This was inconvenient for us because we had to be home to open the garage door; we had to make several calls to find out when the job would be done, what time, etc. It's just more professional to communicate with customers, especially when there are scheduling changes. We would use AAA again (checking with several neighbors, they have been happy with AAA) but we would emphasize the importance of staying in contact.

They arrived on time; did what they said; and, charged us as promised. The paving did not make it through the winter. it looks worse than before they did it and they did not tell us that it would not be good, that we needed to have more work done. So it really was worthless.

There were additional costs, possibly because my driveway was longer than 700 ft. Overall, it was fine.

My experience was great. They were very prompt and they were nice to work with. There were two people here doing the work and it took about an hour to complete. The results are good. I will be using them again in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went really well. He did a good job. I paid a little bit extra for the sealcoating because I got cracks, spills, and some other things. I paid around $120. It was pretty close to what I was quoted in the original deal. The guy communicated well with me because I was calling him back and forth. It was easy to get in touch with him.

Quality of work was fantastic. Only rub was an addon bill that I didn't expect that came in the mail without prior approval. Yes, the square footage was in the deal but a quick call would be appreciated next time as the amount was a bit higher than anticipated. Other than that I couldn't have been happier.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. We had no problems. I wouldn't say we got total satisfaction but a high satisfaction. There were no extra charges. They did the job. I think the product is a little watered down because I think it didn't last too long so that's probably reflected in their price. They did a good job with no mess.
