Description of Work: We had a toilet plug up that destroyed our downstairs ceiling and flooded our basement with 2 inches of water. A and D were there in 3 hrs and did a 100 % dry out and clean up after 6 days. Professional and courteous. Great guys!

Description of Work: A+! I had a flood and called them at 3am and they were here later on that day and started drying everything out. It took them 10 days altogether. They did an excellent job, moved everything out and took the baseboards off. They got everything completely dry, and moved everything back in. Once they can make sure the water won't come back, they will replace baseboards and drywall damaged by the water. They provide a thorough service. I would highly recommend them. The bill was $3,962.68. In my estimation this is a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: My husband came home for lunch to find our basement had flooded. He and I worked to save as much stuff as possible that afternoon, then I did an Angie's search for companies that did water mitigation. A&D Hydra Clean had excellent reviews so I called them. They were very professional and friendly on the phone and although they had many ongoing cleanups, they promised to stop by that evening, if it was okay with us. We were going to be up cleaning, anyway, so they did stop by around 11pm that night. We really appreciated that initial contact, even so late and it was obvious he had a long day. They gave us an initial estimate and then were out the next day to start the water mitigation process. They answered every question we had, helped in any way they could. This was covered by insurance, which they had plenty of experience with and were patient with the billing and working with the insurance company. | |There were a few wall nicks in the stairwell where the large, heavy pieces of equipment were carried in and out, but that is understandable. It is not a very wide stairwell. | |They also gave us a "put back" estimate to do the restoration. However, we were in the middle of remodeling projects anyway and opted to do the restoration ourselves. Therefore, I have no experience with them on those provided services. | |

Description of Work: If you have serious water damage or need mold remediation, they might not be the cheapest, but they are by far the most professional company to do the job. They do a thorough check through and actually test the air that measures the parts per billion of mold or danger in the air. If they detect anything after they perform the work they do the who job over again and don't charge you a dime more, they stay until the job is done right. As a part of their business they clean the carpets, and they do a fantastic job with that. Our carpets have survived for 20 years with two sons and multiple dogs, and they cleaned the carpets and made them look almost new. Thy got stains out of the carpet Stanley steamer couldn't get out when we hired them years ago. If you take time to talk the employees, they will give you amazing advice. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, they will explain how to perform a project in a way you can understand. They will give you the reins if you want them, which is a cool thing a company does.

After two months away on summer vacation, we arrived home on a Saturday evening to mold and water damage in our kitchen and adjoining dining room, which we use as a play room for our kids. This was our first time encountering a situation like this, so we called A and D on Sunday morning after reading other reviews on Angie's List. The person we spoke to, Eric, answered a lot of our questions over the phone and came out to inspect later that day. It was very reassuring speaking to him during his visit. He talked us through the entire process including mold removal remediation, reconstruction, and insurance. The following business day, Eric and Kyle came out to take measurements and provide us with a quote for the job. Eric and Kyle were the two main people we worked with, and they were wonderful--very professional and reassuring. | |We ended up needing to have our kitchen cabinets rebuilt, drywall and carpet replaced, plumbing fixed, and granite countertops replaced. All of the subcontractors that came to work on the drywall, carpet, granite, cabinets, and plumbing were all very professional as well. Between Eric, Kyle, their subcontractors, and our insurance agent, the whole process was very smooth. Everyone wanted to work to get the job done as quickly as possible to get us back to normal--couldn't have asked for better! I hope I don't have to use them again for this, but if we encountered the same situation again, I would know who to call.

Description of Work: Pipe in finished basement burst late Friday night right before leaving on vacation. A&D responded to our call and had their technicians to our home within 2 hours. The clean-up crew was very professional and we felt comfortable leaving the next morning knowing our house was in good hands. They kept us advised of the progress and when we returned home all the drywall, woodwork, carpet and furniture had been dried out thoroughly and was ready for repair. Excellent job!

Description of Work: I had a leak in my crawl space from my kitchen drain breaking. They came out right away and cleaned my crawl space and put a new liner down. I was very pleased with their caring attitude and professionalism. Will definitely use again!!!!

Description of Work: 1800 sq ft finished basement flooded with storm water up to 4" deep. They arrived in 2 hours from call and immediately began the dry out process. Took over 4 days with multiple fans blowing, but virtually everything was saved - carpet. walls, baseboards, stored items. Was a terrible event, but A&D made it bearable. Thank you A&D!

Description of Work: I became acquainted with this company a few years ago when we came home after a trip to a wet basement due to sump pump failure. They were attentive, professional and cleaned up the basement for us over a number of days. I have used them a number of times since then to do carpet cleaning for us and always been extremely satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: It was a nice quiet Sunday and we had been working through our normal routine of laundry and the grocery store. Upon our return from the grocery, we headed to the basement with several bags of salt in order to fill our water softener. That's when we spotted the water. We have a full unfinished basement (it's been painted so it's clean and not too cluttered) and we had 8" of standing water. We grabbed the Angie's List book and looked up restoration, water mitigation, etc. and found *A & D Hydra Clean*, a Water Damage Restoration company. We called them at 2:00pm on a Sunday, they answered their phone and within 2 hours a team of two was at our home beginning to help us get rid of the water. They not only came out on a Sunday but they stayed until 8:00pm so they could properly set up the hoses needed to begin the draining process. That was just the beginning of four extremely hectic days, which involved their *coordination* of the items in the basement, *communication*, not only to my husband and myself but to all of the other experts that they advised us to call, and then *consultation*, which was patient, thoughtful and kind. They worked tirelessly... they drained the basement, cleaned every single item that was salvageable, walked us through each step of the way so we knew when to call a plumber to look at the pipe, our insurance agent, an HVAC inspector for the furnace (in case any water got into the electrical portion), etc. *Then* they set up fans to dry it all out thoroughly to avoid any mold. They came back two more days in a row to check on the basement until everything was bone dry. They were amazing, knowledgeable, kind, polite, compassionate... I could go on and on! Everyone at *A & D Hydra Clean* was nothing short of awesome and if you ever have the misfortune of having a water problem in your home, this is the company to call, without a doubt, they are the best of the best in our book!! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Description of Work: I called and talked with Dave Wilson. The flotation device on our sump pump got stuck and we got about an inch of water in the basement. I extracted about 45 gallons of really dirty water out of the carpet. Two days later the stench was getting worse so I called thinking we had mold. Dave told me how to check for mold myself before them coming out and what to do to clean up the carpet and the rest of the flooring. The consultation was wonderful and if we find that we need his expertise to handle any future problems, he has my business!
