They responded within 24 hours even after a busy schedule. They tested all over the basement to detect water in the carpet, in the walls, in furniture. Then they went right to work removing the carpet, section by section. They removed baseboards and drilled holes in the drywall to allow water drainage (if any) and to better dry out the walls. They brought in a multitude of blowers, a big dehumidifier, and an air cleanser and kept them running for 3 days. They were prepared to reinstall new carpet and the baseboards, but we declined since we wanted to use the opportunity to do other things to the basement.

A&D were extremely busy due to all the rain and flooding, we were the last to receive an appointment. Our basement flooded after the sump pump failed. They were there within a couple of hours after our call. They took over, moving furniture and items so they could extract the water. After they extracted the water, they placed about 5 large fans to dry the carpet, drywall and items that were wet. They also hauled away the items that had to be trashed. It took several days for everything to dry, they called & came out daily to check the process and check the fans. They had to plug the fans in all over the house, so they didn't overload the circuit breakers. They taped the cords to the floor so no one would trip on the cords. Afterward they sanitized and cleaned the carpet, including the steps to the basement. They were always very professional, personable and understanding about our situation. They were clean and in clean, pressed uniforms each time we saw them. During the process they were very careful to keep things clean and out of our way. They did an outstanding job, we are extremely pleased with the service we received. A&D also communicated with our insurance company, which made the situation much easier for us. We would definitely call them again, but I hope I never have to! They also reminded us of their Angie's List coupon, saving us $$. Thank you A&D!

Fantastic! Thanks to their efforts, the 5-week job proceeded quite well. When it was realized that the project was more extensive than just replacing a small square of subfloor, A&D Hydra Clean thoroughly explained the process with very realistic timelines (best/worst case). Once details were received from the industrial hygienist, they explained what was going to be required and why, ensuring I understood the process. Throughout the project, they provided up-to-date information about what was happening, and when decisions were required provided options of approach to take with both the pros and cons. They coordinated the schedules for other workers to be in the home, ensuring all followed appropriate containment requirements to minimize further spread of the home. By the time I moved back in, you couldn't tell anything had happened (except the new floors where I'd planned). Without Eric's coordination and efforts, this could have been much more difficult to achieve. Thank you!

They did a great job! The work was completed to my satisfaction. First they had to access the crawlspace from a very difficult spot in the furnace room of my home. They then had to pick-up and remove contaminated food wastes and plastic in the crawlspace. They then had to vacuum/pump out the wastewater from the crawlspace. Then they spread fill dirt and lime for bacterial control and left an air scrubber to help improve the air quality in my home.

The team that they put together did an excellent job of correcting the damage caused by the water. They were so thorough that we are comfortable that our home was dried out completely and will not face mold problems in the future. They worked very well with our insurance company. That included taking photos of all of the damage before any part of the clean-up began. I would strongly recommended Hydra Clean to my best friend if a similar situation occurred. I am sorry that I cannot give them an A+ (the highest rating is an A).

They were very responsive. They did good work. I thought their price was a little high, but the work was very good so I was satisfied.

I called on a Saturday and they came an hour later. They came and checked it out and didn't push the service on us. They let us do most of the repairs that we could do. The only thing that we couldn't do was to install new pad and to stretch the carpet and they had another gentlemen to call us to install the new padding when we were ready for that service. He also gave us suggestions for paint and to keep the fumes down. If I have problems I will use them again.

They made a special effort to schedule the work before our family was arriving for Thanksgiving. They arrived on time and worked for about 4 hours to finish the job. Steve is very friendly and professional and will point out problem areas and give advise where he sees future issues arising. It is always a very positive experience. We have used A&D on many occasions.

A & D Hydra Clean was very quick to come to my rescue; they were very explanatory as to what the damage was and what was needed to repair it. They were reasonably priced and very good to work with.

Our sump pump quit one Sunday morning, causing our utility room and basement floor (with carpet) to collect about 3 inches or more of water. This is our first home, and we were panicked. I called Dave, who answered from his cell, and he was very accommodating. He agreed to gather a crew and come out after Church, and when they showed up we truly felt as if the Cavalry had arrived. They went right to work for 6 hrs, extracting the water from the floor and thick carpet (we had already removed all furniture etc. by the time they came). We got an education in what to look out for, the average life of a sump pump, and what type of battery-backup might be recommended in the future. They're knowledgeable, professional, hard-working and good-natured. This stressful disaster turned into a humorous "Murphy's Law" story by the day's end. I'm so grateful to have called them! And, they billed my insurance directly. Fantastic experience - would hire again,(but hope we don't need to)!

A fine experience upgrading the company. I didn't realize the price would be so high.

Excellent response. Called around 7:00 PM. They (on phone) helped me get my old pump running and were here with a new pump installed before midnight. The people showed actual concern for our home and our worries about our situation. Equipment was in and running over weekend. They are well equipped; the special equipment was well maintained and they were prepared down to details like the "furniture mover" disks and the wall corner protectors when they brought hoses into the house. They were always on-time, as they were here daily to check drying, and kept in contact (returned calls).

This company was absolutely terrific. I called them on Sunday late afternoon about 4:00 because of some water that had gotten into my basement do to a back up outside. They were here by approximately 6:00 or 6:30, Floyd & Kyle were the two who came. They were absolutely terrific individuals. Started on the project right away got done approximately 9:00 or 9:30 and then came back the next two days to check on everything. Then reinstalled the carpet, the baseboard, and you could not even tell they were there. They were absolutely terrific. I wanted to take the time to call and provide you with this comment on them because I can recommend them highly to anyone.

Excellent, extremely polite, and very professional. "State of the art equipment". Went above and beyond by shampooing my great room carpet and hallway, when the work was done in the basement. I really appreciated it.

This company is wonderful. Every employee I dealt with was very friendly, professional, and prompt. Communication was excellent. They were at my house within a couple of hours of my initial phone call. The price was reasonable--less than I had expected, and the final cost was a little bit less than the estimate. I felt comfortable having their employees working in my home, and they even took the time to chat with my kids and let my toddler look at the tools they were using. I recommend them highly.

Working with this firm was great. I am in Ohio, trying to take care of my son's home in Indianapolis, who has been deployed to Iraq. Mr. Wilson went beyond the call of duty to get the work done. He even depatched a crew out, after normal working hours, at no additional cost. I contacted him one day and he came out that evening and completed the work the next day. He bent over backward to assist me, in getting the sewage clean up in a timely fashion. He contacted a company, to auger out the sewage main line, paid them and had everything done for me. I did not have to contact another company to get that work done, before the people in the house could use the bathroom. Mr. Wilson kept in contact with me, here in Ohio by phone and fax. Without that, we could not have had the work done so fast. The staff was very polite to my son's family, that they are still talking about the experience. I wish there were more people in the world, like A & D Hydra Clean, Inc.

I am EXTREMELY happy with my experience. Most experts don't want to spend as much time as Steve did, especially if they aren't getting paid for it. I will keep this company in mind--not only for any future needs we may have, but to recommend to friends and family.
