I liked the people. They were here when they said they would be and they did good work.

I thought they were outstanding. They were so thorough and so good. The work they did was fantastic. In fact, after they got all of the water up, they got the fans out, got it all dry and they even swept our stair steps. They left it in excellent shape. I think they did more than we expected. Everyone had such good manners. They were so nice to have in the house. They were so personable. I was impressed with their dedication.

It turned out great. They showed up when they said they would. They were very careful about everything in the house including not letting the cats out; which are things that some people aren’t careful about. They were very nice to work with and I was very pleased. They were upfront about the cost and upfront about what they could and couldn’t do.

A & D provides excellent service. Finding your basement full of water is very stressful and even during a high demand weekend with a long list of stressed out costumers, they were patient, comprehensive in their explanations of what their service covered and right on point about the ballpark cost. The crew worked really hard during the first afternoon to make sure that all the steps were taken so the damage to the property would be contained, they were friendly, clean and thorough. In the following day they came back to check on the progress of the dry out property. They were always punctual and flexible, they always tried to work around to work our schedule.

Water damage from 2nd floor leak. They diagnosed where it was coming from and came in and started to work. Worked well with our insurance company and was thoughtful of our convenience. We had to stay in a hotel until they were finished, with three small children, they were able to expedite services to get us back in by the weekend.

They arrived on the day I called them and worked the weekend getting my basement dry.

A delivery person nicked the refrigerator water line in the course of installing a new refrigerator in my home. The leak wasn't obvious until the next morning, at which point there was water damage in the kitchen area. The water had gone into the crawl space, in to a utility closet in the garage, under the kitchen floorboards, and between the walls. I found A&D Hydra Clean on Angie's List and gave them a call. Within an hour of my call, an A&D crew showed up at my house. They were extremely professional and knew exactly what to do. The team worked efficiently and very well together. Eric Mertz, the lead on the team, was also very helpful in providing advice on what I needed to do to document my insurance claim. (Throughout the remediation and restoration process, A&D coordinated with the insurance company and the claims adjustor, making it fairly seamless for the homeowner.) Given the 'craziness' of that first day, it was so reassuring to have the A&D crew in charge of the situation! A&D placed machines in the home to dry out the water & moisture. The machines ran for 4 days, and on each of those days someone from A&D came out to check on the equipment and assess the drying progress. Once the dry-out was complete, A&D took on the role of "general contractor" to get my home back to it's condition before the leak. They brought in a flooring company to evaluate the hardwoods and help choose replacement flooring, and then coordinated the installation of the new floor and all the activities needed to get everything back to original shape. While the water remediation activities were done within a matter of days, getting everything replaced and re-installed took several months. A&D was great about communicating the status of the work, keeping me informed of anticipated timing. They were always responsive in answering my questions. When it came to scheduling the work to be done, they worked with me to coordinate days/times that would fit my schedule. Overall, I am extremely happy with the work that A&D did for me. The main guys that I dealt with -- Kyle and Eric -- were great to work with. And all of the people that A&D sent out to do work at my home were very professional and experts in their craft. Their attention to detail, and their customer focus, is outstanding.

This is a five star company. Their own people and the people they work with are the best. They all are extremely nice and very clean. They made a very stressful situation much less so. Quite frankly I joined Angie's List, just so I could tell the world how wonderful A & D Hydra Clean and all of their people are!

I started using them at the other residence when we had problems at our basement, there was water backing up and they did the repair. We have been using them for almost 10 or 12 years already. When you need them, they show up, they are punctual. They clean my rugs, dining rugs, and they clean it all.

I accidentally let my large, garden bathtub overflow...the carpet in the bathroom, as well as part of the master bedroom and closet, was soaked. I used a wet vac to try to extract some of the water, and then waited for the carpet to dry out. After a couple of days, the carpet was just a little damp, but there was a terrible odor throughout the house. I looked on Angie's List for a company with expertise in water restoration. Based on their top reviews, I called A&D Hydra Clean. I was not disappointed. They responded in a timely manner and were exceptionally professional and customer-oriented. They removed the carpet and padding, sprayed something on the back of the carpet and the concrete slab, and set up fans to dry out the area. A few hours after the technician left, the fans quit working...too much power for the circuit or something. I called A&D, and the technician was back over here in no time, and got everything working again. He was very nice and said to call him if anything else went wrong....that he would come back over again, or even the following day which was the weekend. The next day, someone from A&D called to be sure everything was still working OK. I really appreciated that unsolicited follow-up call...not too common today. Another person came to the house after a few days to put down new padding and reinstall the original carpeting. He was very nice/professional...showed up right on time...and did a great job. Overall, I give A&D an A+, and I highly recommend them for water mitigation service.

The entire crew was here on time. They were very friendly, thorough and answered all my questions. They were easy to work with.

A pipe connection under the kitchen sink came apart and water poured out onto our wood floors for 20-30 minutes. Although we dried the area ourselves, we soon realized that we needed professional help. Never having had flood damage before, we did not know where to turn. It is incredible how much damage water can do in a short period of time. A call to a flooring specialist, directed us to A&D. Once we contacted them, the company swooped in and took control, for which we are very grateful. The teams of repair and restoration guys were efficient, professional and friendly. We had to leave the house in their care on numerous occasions and always felt comfortable. Our office contact person (Kyle Olson) was great to work with and always responded to our many questions. Although the complete repair and restoration process has taken a number of months, we are happy with the result. I would definitely recommend using A&D to anyone who experiences this kind of home emergency.

2011 Went very well from start to finish. They were in the middle of a big project but provided resources on an emergency basis. The personnel were friendly helpful and competent. Went the extra mile for us.

They did a great job for me. They are the best at deep cleaning and able to remove any deep stains you may have.

Saw we had a problem in the basement and I called them right away after reading about them on Angies List. They came out that afternoon and right away went to work to solve the problem. It was completed in three days.

We liked them. They were very nice and worked with us. They got the paneling we wanted. They explained the process. They were not a pain in the butt. If we had a problem they accommodated us. They were willing to work with us and the mortgage company. The mortgage company was slow to send the payment and they didn’t bug us.

This was my first experience with extensive water damage. If you've never had this happen, you don't realize how disruptive and demoralizing it is. You're living in the middle of a construction zone for several weeks. A&D handled everything from beginning to end. They exuded confidence and control every step of the way. They were professional, punctual and experienced. Moreover, they were friendly and reassuring. taking the time to explain everything to me and relate other projects they had worked on where the damage was even worse than mine. I got the feeling throughout the process that I was in really good hands. One day sticks out in my mind: The insurance adjuster came by and was trying to tell me they could dry out and re-use the existing hardwoods. Eric from A&D was there at the same time, and he showed the adjuster the moisture readings and explained to him why that wouldn't work. The adjuster backed off right away and got approval from his bosses for new hardwoods.

Put in and testing for mold was done. This was all done within a very tight window as we had an offer on the house and needed to close quickly. They were super to work with. We felt very secure which was very surprising considering we were hundreds of miles away. The people in charge of the project were always quick to return calls, answer questions, and keep us informed. We are very grateful to this company! We would recommend them without hesitation.

I would recommend this company to everyone. If you have to deal with water damage of any kind in your home, this is the company you want to assist you. They will help with everything. The men they sent to our home were all just about the nicest people you would ever meet. They were skilled professionals in floorcare, carpentry, painting, etc. They did a great job from start to finish.

While away on vacation the water line to our refrigerator ice maker burst. We were gone for three days! We returned to find water in the basement, mold flocked in the linen closet, and water damage in the utility room. Even though we never saw water anywhere on the main floor it had spread throughout the wall and down into the basement. The vanity in our main floor bath was damaged and so was the kitchen cabinet adjacent to the refrigerator. Being a microbiologist, and asthmatic I immediately went into panic thinking my two small kids could be exposed to the molds. I searched through Angie's list and found A&D Hydraclean among a handful of other contractors. Out of the seven I looked into A&D Hydraclean was the ONLY ONE that discussed containment measures and how they would combat the molds so that it wouldn't cause problems with my asthma while they remedied. (-Everyone else thought I was nuts, and that it was something I was just going to have to deal with.) It was the best choice I could have made! They had contractors out the very next day remediating and removing the effected flooring & drywall under negative pressure contained spaces so that the mold didn't have a chance to become airborne in the HVAC system. Their contractors were always very professional and polite - even to my 5 year old who would try to talk for an hour if you let him :-) Being new home owners we were fearful of what to expect and didn't want to be taken advantage of. Kyle Olsen and his team of contractors/technicians were exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of the way to make certain that tools were picked up in time for my kids to be home from school, helped us navigate the painful insurance red tape, and even helped guide us through the replacement process of picking out new tile, etc. While they were working on the house they helped facilitate other contract work as well with Bedell Plumbing and Trillium Cabinet company to get the house back to the way it was before the water damage. They all did a beautiful job! All the while I was give updates on the status of the repairs almost daily, and was never declined or dismissed if I called with a question, even if it was the third time that day! While the repairs were being completed they even had a professional cleaning crew out to clean the area adjacent to the tiled area to keep the tile dust from reaching the rest of the house. The tile was laid incorrectly by the previous owners, and therefore it took 5 guys two days to remove a section ~400sq ft. -A job they expected would take only one day! Instead of being frustrated or charging more for the remediation they called to let us know the installation may be delayed and their tile installation technician worked late Friday, and most of the day that Saturday to get us back into the house on time. I couldn't be happier with A & D Hydraclean! This could have been a nightmare situation, but Aaron & Kyle made it manageable, and put my mind at ease. Not once did I have an asthma attack, my kids are as healthy as ever and my house is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you so very much for a wonderful job!

Since I had used A&D before, I trusted them to enter my unlocked house during the day when I'm at work (I've lived in Chicago, and usually don't trust anyone, but I do trust A&D folks). They are honest, reliable, and perform their job impeccably, and are upfront with their work and billing practices.

We were pleased with them, as usual. They are awesome!
