Description of Work: Our central air conditioner was very old. Although we had it covered under the service plan of our local electric utility company who had been recharging it once a year for the past five years, we decided that having it go out over, yet another holiday weekend, was a bit much. We did a lot of on-line research about products and contractors in the area. We walked into the Popa offices on one day and had the owner visit us at home the very next day. There was not pressure or up-selling, just honest measuring and assessment of our needs. We agreed upon a product and price. The metal work estimator visited the next day and the office manager called later that day to set an appointment for the installation to be done 2 days later. We were so thrilled. The installers arrived and were amazing. Three short hours later the new unit was installed and the old unit removed The installers were neat and personable. They knew their jobs very well and were quite professional. The weekend passed and on the following Tuesday, the owner kept her follow-up appointment. She checked the installation and presented the bill which was exactly as proposed before the installation. Again, no surprises. Our home is wonderfully cool and comfy. We will have them back once a year for system inspection/service to keep our new 'pride and joy' happy.

Description of Work: My AC was acting up in the hottest summer that NW Indiana has seen in years and my house was beyond hot. I called POPA and they said that they could be out immediately and I told them that the following morning would be better for me. They arrived in the timeframe that they promised that they would be there. Josh knew right away what the problem was and went back to the shop to get the parts that I needed for my AC. Josh had the unit fixed within the hour and my house was cool again in no time. Josh was very professional and friendly. He answered any questions that I had and also gave me tips on how my AC unit could perform better and how to clean the outside of the fan.
