The salesman was nice and took his time. He told us what is going to happen and how it's going to happen.

With such an investment, I told the sales rep. that I would be getting additional bid/bids for this job and was told that I would find that none of the local roofers would be able to come under their bid. In order to get further bids, I went to the GAF website to find recommended roofers. The website listed "Master Elite" Roofing Contractors. Kraz Construction was not listed. I contacted a listed local "ME" roofer for a bid. WOW 3K cheaper for the same service, I accepted the bid after talking with Kraz to cancel the contract. When I contacted Kraz Construction to cancel, I was confronted with the 'what if we match the bid'. I simply told them that I don't deal that way, going back and forth between contractors. Then I was asked, if when buying a car, do I pay the sticker price or try to deal? I replied that I go to a dealer with a price I am willing to pay, if they cannot match it I do not buy. I was asked if I was a previous customer, I responded "yes". The man then told me that he would never work for me in the future and told me never to call them again. The real kicker is when the conversation ended the man that I was talking with told me to "go F**k yourself" as he hung up. Now, that is someone everyone wants to deal with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe he was having a bad day. I called at 9:30 AM to cancel.

It was the best experience. The salesman was very knowledgeable and explained a lot to me. The installers were wonderful, very polite, efficient and professional.

The installers did an excellent job. We were well pleased with the outcome. The workers were very knowledgeable, polite, and couteous.

They did a very good job. They were efficient, polite and I would recommend them. They came on time. They were polite. They were very nice and they did their job.

I heard of their name before and also, they came around the house when I was outside and they're knocking on doors and trying to get people to do some work for them. I like the interaction with them.

They were professional when they came. They treated us pretty good. Their work was good. The clean up after the job could have been better, but no problems with the work. They ran out of material while they were working. The quality of their work was good. Regarding responsiveness, we had problems with them coming back out. He seemed like he had attitude on the phone, but once they got out here and saw what we were talking about they were okay. They came when they said they would come.

We had pretty good luck with them. We really liked the salesman that came to our house. There was one like a bay window; I wasn't really sure about whether I was going to get it or not. He said that I was going to love it, and he was right. I love those bay windows, because it was in a bedroom that was very small and the bay window made it look much bigger. I love the slide windows that they put in our basement. With the doors, I have had to call them back to fix the one in the bathroom. But when I call them, they come to act. I'm not saying that they are the perfect company, but they are certainly not as bad with me as what I read on Angie's List. The price was good.

They did an estimate and then they actually did the work. It was relatively a simple job, but talking to the guy who gave me the estimate said that they also build decks, they could put in a door in the back of our house, we do not have a backdoor, and he said they could do that kind of work. I think they do windows also. They went up in the attic and they blew in more insulation. They did what they were doing. They told me what they were going to do and it sounded reasonable for me, as I am not really familiar with that kind of work. They had a truck and had a machine in the back of the truck that they would put insulation in and then it would separate it and blow it through this hose and then the man up in the attic he would spray it around up there. They were prompt and they cleaned their mess. They were respectful and honest, and they were very good. I would rate them "A" for everything.

The salesman wrote down the cost on a notepad. It seemed high. We told him we'll think about it and get back to him after getting other estimates from other contractors. Then he lowered the price if we sign today. Again told him we'll think about it. Now he calls his boss (Louis or Louie?) who allegedly offers a bettor deal if we sign today. Your typical high pressure sales pitch. I don't play that game. The only reason we tolerated that salesman is because we felt sorry for that young man. Note- I don't recall that exact date because it was a year ago. Writing review now because i recently joined Angies list and in the market for new windows.

I liked the product and where they are located. I plan on using them again.

Service was prompt, relatively clean. My actual problem was not with Kraz Construction, but rather with their collections department Boulevard Lenders. I put almost half down during signing and was told after 6 months of paying on time that I was late on one payment. When called and informed of this, I stated that I did mail my payment in on time. The gentleman I spoke with stated he would look for this payment again and call me back. Two weeks later I recieved another call stating again that I was past due. I stated that I have a carbon copy of the check I wrote, and basically the response was, "that's not the problem of Boulevard Lenders because we have no proof the check was actually mailed in." I paid off the remaining balance over the phone with my debit card (another fee to do so) and complained that not only is this the first time I was late, but I am being charged a late fee, and have to pay a stop-payment fee on the check that was lost. Boulevard Lenders also has no free online payment option, only by mail can a payment be made. The woman I spoke to who processed my payment offered no waiving of any fee. Because of the way this was handled, I will not be using there services again.

Initially I was interested in seeing what they could do on the price. They never got back to me for the window quote. The strange thing was that they would call for follow-ups and I would tell them that I never got the quote. They frequent the neighborhood periodically in the summer and drop the company information at the door. They had no experience with punctuality.

Kraz was in our area knocking on doors. I talked to the guy for a few minutes and let him know that I had been considering getting new siding, etc. He arranged for a salesman/estimator to come out. The guy comes right on time as expected. Great. He is definitely a salesman, though. Asking lots of questions, trying to get to know us, etc. He walks through what we want done to make sure we are clear on what we are bidding - fine. He then goes into their materials, their construction crews, their certifications, etc. All relevant info though he was taking way too long to explain it. He quotes up an estimate for us on the spot, and here's where it gets interesting. He starts out with an MSRP price of like $40,000 for all the work, but because they are such a high volume dealer, they get 10% off, so that's $36,000, then if you'll let me put a sign in your yard for 30 days, I'll give you another $8,000 because I want your location. Then he needed to go out and make some phone calls, so he'd let my wife and I discuss it. When he comes back in, I say at this point we're not ready to commit to that investment before we do some research and shop around. Well, lo and behold, he talked to his boss when he was outside and he was willing to knock off another 15% or whatever it was. At this point, I thought his quote was actually in the reasonable range, but it just took forever to get there. He was literally there for 1.5 hours at this point. I was willing to tolerate it though as I did learn about the materials and the process. At that point, I still said no thanks right now, but we'd think about it. But then here's where it got really weird. He then starts talking about how great he feels, and how he takes some organic or homeopathic supplements or something and proceeds to tell me about some company he represents that basically sells this stuff. How great it is for him. Even his doctor started taking it and couldn't believe how great it was. It sounded to me like one of these Ponzi scheme operations like an Amway. So anyways, after he already spent all this time in my home, he proceeds to go on for a good 15-20 minutes about this, all the while not picking up on the clues that we are not interested at all but we're too nice to tell him to get the heck out. It was really weird. So at the end of the day, I bet this company does quality work, but the whole sales schpiel was way too long and really turned me off. The kicker was then how he went into the home health supplements thing. It was just too weird and really gave me the non-professional vibe. I wonder if Kraz knows he's pulls this c*** on people.

The experience was a negative one for us. The salesman made guarantees that the crews did not come close to living up to. In the end, the office representative called me with a nasty attitude and threatened to cancel the project if we did not allow the team to complete the work on a particular day, as if they were being inconvenienced by us demanding that the work be performed correctly, which was delaying completion. They were ill-equipped to complete the job they way it should have been done and on time so I guess they decided we were too much trouble. This was a very poor way to handle the situation.

Everything looks good. They were a little bit pricey. They missed a couple spots of trim work, but they did come back to fix it every time we asked. They did not install a false roof or clean up, and they also did not provide a final inspection. However, they were very responsive each time we pointed out anything to them that they missed.

They set up an appointment, showed up on time and gave us the price in advance. Only took a check for half of the balance because they did not want payment in full until the work was completed and we were satisfied. The estimate they gave, as far as how long it would be till the actual installation, was longer than when the windows were ready to be installed. They were 2 weeks early! What a nice change from companies that tell you one thing, then it takes forever! They were actually early! All the work was completed in one day and they removed all the old material. The men who did the actual work were professional and very nice to deal with, as was the man who came out to give us the original estimate.

I had a large bay window which I broke down into 4 smaller windows which made it easier for me to get air. The entire job these men did was excellent and I don t remember the price but I do recall that it was very reasonable. I recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

THEY WERE VERY EXPENSIVE BUT ALSO VERY EFFICIENT. I THOUGHT THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK. I LIKED THAT THEY WERE ON TIME THAT RATED HIGH WITH ME AND SHOWED ME THAT THEY WERE SERIOUS ABOUT THE JOB.

THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK. THEY ALSO GAVE US A DISCOUNT ON THE WINDOWS AND SERVICES. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS. THE ESTIMATE THEY GAVE US WAS JUST THE PRICE WE WERE QUOTED.
