An excellent experience overall. Bob came out a number of times to put together our estimate. We were given a number of options with no "high pressure" tactics at all. The crew was courteous and very efficient. We were surprised at how unobtrusive they were considering we were replacing so many windows. They responded quickly to any questions or changes we made. Bob even came out a few weeks later to make sure that there were no problems with any of the seals. I strongly recommend Steel City.

I had water damage around my window from the balcony above my unit. They removed all of the water soaked drywall taking care not to damage the frame to my window (which was replaced about a year ago) They did an excellent repair and paint job. The were very professional, arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. Thank you again Jay and Steve. .

Everything was nice, they were all fairly responsive in getting pricing to me within a few days of contacting them. I was able to compare apples to apples with other contractors I had.

They did an excellent job. My father wanted to wait to see if he could have the insurance pay partially for the roof, but he felt that there was damage done that could go under homeowners insurance. I think most roofers would've hurried up and gotten the job done. These roofers waited a little bit longer. The verdict was that the insurance could pay for the roof, and they did the job. They were a good company to work with. They did some repairs on my house, and they were prompt for that job as well.

Their estimate was twice as high as the company we went with. We were disappointed with their services, and they were not very punctual.

My brother-in-law used them last month. The person we dealt with was very professional and on time. He cleaned up immaculately. It was a great price for what he did.

Their wonderful carpenter, Bill, arrived at 7 in the morning, EVERY morning, sometimes with a helper. He was absolutely the best! He had everything ready for the cabinets to be installed when they arrived. I recommend this company to anyone who wants a job done to perfection. These people are pleasant as well as capable and efficient.

Steel City Home Improvements did an exceptional job. I got 3 quotes, and all of the quotes were within $300.00. I spoke to the owner of Steel City. He came out and told me exactly what they would do. He was very straight forward and professional. They came out and started the siding. As soon as they had the license to do it, they came out and did it. I have had people come out and really like the job that they did. The doors that he replaced look exceptional!

The project finished on time and on budget. The roof looks great. The people I spoke with over the phone were kind, courteous, and willing to speak with me. The responsiveness was good overall. There was an issue where I had to make a couple of calls to get them to come back, but it was sort of my fault, because I was calling their field foreman instead of calling the office directly. He was on vacation so when he got back he did contact me about the calls. When I look for a roofing contractor I do not look for anyone super smooth, so for what they needed to do I think they were professional. I would use them again in the future.

We did not end up using them. They did not follow up with us and the price was too high. They were supposed to provide additional specs but they never did.

They were good about providing an estimate, but they weren't as good with the follow up so we didn't use them.

The work done was fantastic and I am very pleased. I had to have a wall moved 6 inches to allow for a standard sized 5' long tub. This required the plumbing to be moved as well. I had a new tile floor put in, new exhaust fan with light, new GFI outlets, all new appliances installed, paneling, painting & trim. Steel City provided all of the permits, protected the floors from damage and also covered all of the furniture in the adjacent room to protect against all of the drywall sanding etc. The workmanship of the guys working for Steel City was outstanding. A few mistakes were made along the way but those included installing the wrong model numbered shower door and also a different shower head. Since the model numbers were written into the contract, there was no confusion. I was given the option of having money taken off the price of the job or the replacement of the shower door. I chose the installed door and shower head, he marked the contract down and that was that. I am very happy with this remodel and would recommend this company to anyone.

We have been in our home for 20 years and everything was looking very tired and dated. We talked to several contractors and found Steel City's price to be very good by comparison for the work we wanted done. During the negotiations to finalize the work, Bob Popovich worked closely with us in the planning offering helpful but not intrusive guidance and looking for a way to solve some issues but keep the cost down. The work took 32 work days to complete (a 6-week period with 5 day work week). Given the scope of the work and the fact that we still lived and worked at home, it went very well. Steel City's workers were very professional and hard working. They were good communicators and had a great "can do" attitude. When you undertake a project this big, there are always some things you want to tweak, add or change in some way. This was where we were most impressed; they were responsive and we felt they did not gouge us pricewise for the extras that came up. Using a single contractor for our many different tasks was a good idea; I have no idea how you would be able to coordinate things otherwise. The finished project is beautiful; we feel like we have a new house!

Excellent work. The project manager was very professional. I could reach him at all times with questions and concerns. The workers were also very good.

We were guided through the entire process of a major remodel and we were given advice and ideas that made our project better than we thought possible. We worked with the owner, Bob Popovich, who was responsive to every need we had, and provided quality workers. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Since this was our summer home, we were not able to be there often and we felt we were able to trust Bob to do the best job in our absence. The project was completed when we needed it to be and we are thrilled with the result.

I called November 1st to get an estimate and he never called back. Not professional.

It went very well. They worked quickly, were very accommodating, kept us informed of progress and any potential delays. They also provided covering to protect carpet and stairwell.

THEY GAVE US THE LOWEST BID FOR THE JOB. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF WINDOWS AND THE INSTALLATION. THEY REMOVED THEIR SHOES WHILE IN OUR HOME. THE WHOLE JOB TOOK ONE MORNING. THEY ARE ABLE TO DO OTHER REPAIRS TO THE HOME. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH!

THEY MADE THE SIDING JOB LOOK PRETTY GOOD, EXCEPT FOR ONE BULGE. IT TOOK THEM OVER FOUR MONTHS TO COME BACK AND FIX IT. WHEN THEY FINISHED THE JOB, THEY LEFT BEHIND A BIG MESS.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WORKMANSHIP THE PERFORM FOR YOU. THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE IN MY HOUSE WORKING.

THEY WERE CONSIDERATE. THEY MADE SURE TO NOT TRACK MUD IN AND TO NOT DISRUPT MY HOUSEHOLD FROM COMING IN AND OUT. THEY WERE EASY TO TALK TO AND WORK WITH. THEY CAME TO WORK ON TIME EVERY DAY AND MADE SURE MY CONCERNS WERE ADDRESSED PROMPTLY.
