Description of Work: Came daily to address a squirrel problem. Workers were polite and helpful. Problem seems to have ended as I no longer hear squirrels in the attic. I will probably need to call them again since the primary problem still needs to be addressed when the weather improves.

Description of Work: Traps were set and activity was monitored. We were given a contract for a 15 calendar day period. Guardian does not set traps on weekends or holidays. When concern was voiced regarding time we would receive with 2 holidays on the calendar. Guardian gave us service for the 6 days we would lose due to holidays and weekends. The technicians never made contact with us other than the initial contact to contract us as clients. They would leave a notice at the door after service was rendered. When I did talk to someone was after I called to complain that I was not satisfied when I found traps in my front yard. No animal was trapped for the first 7 days. After my call more traps were set and the following day 2 squirrels were caught. I would not hire Guardian again. |

Description of Work: We had a raccoon living in our eaves and were afraid it may have had babies as well. We tried to get rid of it ourselves to no avail. When we heard more than one we knew we needed help. Guardian came out, was there right at the beginning of the scheduled window of time and talked to me frankly about the situation. I also asked for an estimate for mice since we have had a few recently. The representative was very clear about what they would do to get rid of the raccoon or raccoons as the case may be and talked to me about mice, what we could do and even if we needed to do anything at this point. I was quoted $475 for the raccoon removal and a temporary patch on the eaves once we were sure they racoon(s) were gone. The first night the trap was out they caught one. They came back at least five times, put up a temporary patch that the racoons could have gotten past if they were stuck in the eaves and then came back and put up a patch made of metal grating. They left a note every day they were there outlining what they did and what they would do next. They did a great job, our problem has been solved, and I think the price was reasonable for the amount of times they came out, etc. I would absolutely call them again.

+ -1 moreThe company was friendly and courteous on the phone. The technician showed up on time and gave me a price to treat the yellow jacket nest. He took care of the nest and also sprayed around the whole house under the eaves for prevention at no additional cost. He explained the guarantee to me and when to call if the problem was not resolved. He was very professional. It was an excellent experience and my 2nd with this company.

+ -1 moreONE WAS CAUGHT. BY THE NECK AT LIKE 2 OR 3 IN THE MORNING. I CALLED THEM BY 9AM BECAUSE I HAD PEOPLE RINGING MY DOORBELL TO LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS A RACCOON HANGING FROM MY ROOF. IT TOOK THEM A WHILE TO GET OUT. IT WAS ABOUT 4:00 BEFORE THEY CAME. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A LITTLE RIDICULOUS. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN BUT WOULD INFORM THEM ON THEIR RESPONSIVENESS.

+ -1 moreWe ask them to take care of the problem. Quoted price around $800-$1000. Said they would come 10 times to investigate to see if animals were caught. On the last day, they set off a pest bomb of some kind. The only problem I felt was that the traps were outside on the ground by the tree and on the roof, rather than in the attic. They also sealed the chimney with some steel mesh netting. I wasn't there when they put the traps out, but this is what I understand from my family.

Description of Work: On the last visit, they treated the interior and exterior of my 4700 square foot home for carpenter ants. I do not have a formal contract with them as it was a one time service call.

+ -1 moreIt was hard to get the animal out of the house but Guardian wouldn t give up and they finally were able to get the job done. The contractor who came was very courteous and professional to us and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: We had some raccoons nesting in our attic and I called Guardian to take care of this. They sent out someone who first set a humane trap to capture the animal but this failed as the animal seemed very smart. We then had to settle with another type of trap and this wound up getting the animal out of our home. They then followed up to ensure any other animals were not around and also gave us a flea bomb to use. They were here about 2 hours in total.

+ -1 moreThe representative came to the house, gave an estimate, and the person with the trap arrived the next day. Someone came everyday to check to see whether the raccoon had entered the trap, and after four days, the animal did, and the worker removed the animal. He also reset the trap for a few days to be sure no other animals were in the attic. After all was clear, people came and repaired the damage the raccoon had caused on the roof.
Description of Work: Set trap on roof for raccoon trapped in attic, came everyday to check the trap, removed the raccoon when captured, and repaired the roof.
