Description of Work: Swainco put in a drainage system in our crawlspace, replaced rotted wood and encapsulated the crawl. Everyone was very responsive to our requests. The workers that came out were polite, helpful and neat about their work. Ken, the owner came out to the jobsite twice to make sure things were going well. Overall, an excellent experience.

Description of Work: I had extensive damage to my crawlspace framing, mainly on the sillplates. Swainco replace them, they replaced my rusty old crawlspace door, and did some work on the floor panels as well. also they sprayed for bugs while down under. Work was done as contracted and fast. Mr Swain was nice professional and good to work with. Pricing was not too bad as he negotiated a bit after more damage was discovered and treated that was not in his original quote.

 + 0 moreI called Swainco LLC and set an appointment for the next day. Ken came out at the scheduled time. He made a through inspection of the space and we set down to talk about what he had found and what it would take to bring the space up to my requirements. I had many questions and Ken answered them all with no push about time. I learned a lot from our conversation and he helped me keep from doing a couple of things that would have caused more harm then good. Ken had to do some research on the right dehumidifier for the configuration and size of my crawlspace. So we met again the next day to put the deal together. When he arrived he had written out every detail so we both understood what was to be done. I added a couple more and sign the contract. The work was started the next day and finished a day later. I was able to improve my crawlspace 100% and I know it will save me money (warmer house & no frozen pipes). Ken is even coming back to change the filters on my dehumidifier. Great service at a great price. Thanks Ken
Description of Work: It had been about 8 years ago that I had a product called clean space added to my crawlspace. Since then it has flooded 3 times due to leaky pipes. There was also missing insulation and I wanted to make sure I would have no problems with the coldest of weather. I also needed a new sump pump and dehumidifier.

Description of Work: Ken did 2 projects for me: a perimeter drain with sump in crawl space (plus some outside fill) and structural wood repair. I was very satisfied with his work. His price was good (compared to other quotes). His quotes were thorough. On the wood repair project he found some additional repair needed after getting into the project, which he fixed at no additional cost. Ken gave good advice on the projects and was very knowledgeable about what to do. He also visited the job site daily and followed through on warranty work. I highly recommend him!!

 + -1 moreWe had water in our crawlspace. I looked through the phone book and had 4 or 5 different companies do estimates, but Swainco was the most personable and professional. I had been cleaning out seal plates and insulation, where I found that we had water coming up from the ground. We had bought a new subpump. They dug around the outside of the house and put in a huge drainage pipe to the subpump holding tank to improve the crawlspace drainage and improved the waterproofing on the outside of the house. They put a huge encapsulation around the home to waterproof the house. Everything has been a great experience from start to finish. They were always willing to help and came up twice to ensure everything is working adequately. We have been so impressed with their efficiency, their politeness and their professionalism.
