Very pleased with the service.

Service is responsive when called. National monitoring is prompt and cordial.

The system works well. However, the oral directions for using it were provided too quickly and the print directions (which I was told would re-explain) are too general. I still am not using all of the features. I was double-billed for the first months; when I contacted the company, they were quick to catch the error and then agreed to apply the extra payment to the next period. However, they mailed me a check instead.

Elaina handled the consultation. She was flexible with the meeting time. She explained my options/pricing and answered any questions I had. She was very patient and didn't treat me like it was the last call of the day. She allowed me to think my options over and then met with me again in a few days to write up the contract. Doug called when promised to set up appointment. The installer was scheduled to arrive between 9-11 Friday morning. He arrived at 10:45 and didn't leave until 4:30. The home was prewired but the wires were hidden behind drywall. He installed the system and demonstrated basic functions. Elaina followed up later to make sure everything was okay. The installer forgot to leave yard signs and stickers so she personally dropped them off. They returned when requested to make sure the motion detector was set up for my pet. A key fob didn't come with my package but they were willing to accept a competitor coupon which offered a free key fob.

They always call if we accidentally set off the alarm.

Protection One was the cheapest alarm company that we discovered in our search. The monthly rate is reasonable, and they offer cellular backup.

Great company to work with. Sales rep. Nick was very knowledgeable, gave a discount for alarm system and smoke detector. The technicians showed up later but everything was installed OK. The cost includes 3 monthly payments up front. Would recommended.

Everyone was very pleasant to work with--salesman, installer, people who answer phones. Would recommend!

We've been customers of Protection One (indirectly, through a couple other companies they've acquired) for almost 10 years, and this was our first service call. They arrived on time (30 minutes into a two-hour window), had the system up and running in minutes, and had all the work done in about an hour. We have a monitoring contract with them, so there was no charge for any of the service. We'd had to reschedule the appointment once, and they did this cheerfully, with no problem. Great job!

PRICE INCLUDES FIRST 3 MONTHS OF SERVICE. THE EMPLOYEES WERE VERY PROMPT. TOOK ABOUT 4 HOURS FOR TWO PEOPLE TO REWIRE, CONNECT AND TEST SYSTEM. COULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME EXPLAINING HOW THE SYSTEM WORKED. OVERALL WAS VERY PLEASED, ESPECIALLY FOR THE REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS I WASN'T CHARGED FOR.

PROTECTION ONE HAS BEEN GREAT. WE HAVE BEEN CUSTOMERS FOR YEARS AND WITH THE LIFETIME MOVE PROGRAM AT NO CHARGE, WE WILL CONTINUE. THANK YOU PROTECTION ONE.

THE SALESMAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL, MAYBE IT WAS THE TIME OF DAY WE MET WITH HIM BUT HIS PERSONALITY WAS A LITTLE ROUGH. HOWEVER WE WENT WITH HIM BECAUSE HE WAS QUITE HONEST ON WHAT WE NEEDED AND WHAT WE DID NOT. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND GAVE US A DISCOUNT ON THE INSTALLATION FEE. THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME, AND WAS VERY THOROUGH IN HIS WORK. WE WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE A LOOK AT THIS COMPANY. WE HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND SERVICE

THE HOME WE MOVED INTO HAD PROTECTION ONE, AND SINCE WE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A COMPETITOR AT OUR OLD HOME, WE CHOSE TO GO WITH THEM. EVEN THOUGH THEY MISSED AN APPOINTMENT, THEY MADE UP FOR IT. ON THE SECOND TRY THE TECHNICIAN WAS RIGHT ON TIME.

HAVING AN OLDER HOME I WAS IMPRESSED BY THEIR ATTENTION TO COSMETIC ISSUES. FOR EXAMPLE PROTECTING THE HARD WOOD FLOORS AND THE WALLS. WITH OUT CHARGING EXTRA THEY UPGRADED TO A WIRELESS MOTION DETECTOR. RUNNING WIRES WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INTRUSIVE. THEY HAD A PARTICULAR CELLULAR BACK UP (IF THE PHONE LINES ARE DOWN). THE MONITORING COST IS ABOUT $25 PER MONTH.

EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH MY ALARM & HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH RESPONSE TIME FROM MONITOR STATION WHEN ALARM WAS TRIPPED.
