The company was great to work with!!! I called them to get an estimate one afternoon and they had delivered 2 truck-loads of mulch, soil, and stone by the next day. They were a company who said they would call before the delivery guy came that ACTUALLY CALLED to give us a heads up on when to expect them. Edit: A few days later I needed some more rock, sand, compost, and gravel. I needed two different deliveries to get everything dropped off. I called on a Tuesday afternoon during lunch to place my order and 1 of the two deliveries was able to make a delivery by 3 pm that day and the next delivery was to my house before 10 on the next day (and I live on the opposite side of Indy). I was again impressed with the company...before deciding to work with them I got (or tried to get estimates) from 4-5 different mulch/stone suppliers and it was a huge pain to get most of the companies to answer the phone, call me back, or give me an estimate. My wife spent about 3 hours on the phone playing phone tag with different companies when we should've just called McCarty's to begin with and ordered everything at once. These guys were very professional to work with. The were helpful, had great customer service, and the delivery guys were great too. Thanks guys!

I called on Monday, April 2, 2012 to inquire about mulch and delivery to our residence. The service representative was very knowledgeable regarding types of mulch and made an excellent suggestion. She scheduled delivery for the next day and gave us a window of 8AM - 12PM. The truck was here around 7:45 promptly the next day! We were very impressed with the speed of service and the quality of the product. The deliveryman was polite and courteous. We will definitely call them again for our mulching needs!

We stopped by the company on Tuesday, March 13, perused the samples of mulch on display, and spoke to a very helpful employee. Based on the information she provided, we chose a mulch. We ordered 21 cubic yards (we have a very large yard, with lots of shade where grass will not grow--hence all the mulch). We asked if they could deliver the mulch the following morning. "Of course," they said. The next morning we received a telephone call around 7:30 a.m. The delivery man was at our house within 15 minutes and dumped the mulch exactly where we wanted it. He had to carefully maneuver around tree limbs in order to do this, and you would have thought, with the care with which he did this, that he was working in his own yard. When he was finished, he said, "Thank you for your business. We really appreciate it." Wow! You don't hear that very often. These folks are like dealing with neighbors and friends. They inspire confidence with their friendliness and professionalism. We originally purchased mulch from this company in 2006. I had much the same reaction then. They had not changed in the ensuing years.

We always have wonderful experiences. And, we will always use their products around our home!

From my first phone call to the office, this company exhibits the way people should do business. A cheerful, helpful person took my order. Delivery was scheduled the next day. I received high quality mulch. Additional mulch was required after laying the initial delivery and I utlized them again. Wil l do business with this company again in the future. Customer service, follow up and delivering on their product is A+ with this group.

This was the third time using this company. Once again quality mulch was delivered the same day I called and exactly where I asked. They do not currently have a coupon running in the Angie's List mag yet gave me a $10 discount just for mentioning being a member.

They were great. I’ve used them twice so far. They’ve been good. The lady gave me an option like if it was going to rain, I could call early on the day of the delivery and have it postponed to when it wasn’t going to rain. The companies that I had dealt before had never given me an option. They helped me calculate how many yards topsoil I needed and I was impressed with that. The amount depends on the kind of mulch one wants to get. One can get dyed or natural mulch, fine or real fine and so on. The first time it was $120 and this time it was $150 with the mulch. I would use them again later on during the year as I’ve got some other projects.

I called McCarty Mulch & Stone around 9:30am on a Saturday and ordered 20 cubic yards of their top-grade mulch. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, and we got the order taken care of quickly and easily. They estimated an arrival time of 1-3pm (that day!) but by 11:30am they called to say they were already on their way, arriving around 12noon. The price was pretty high for the mulch, but after seeing the quality, it was well worth it. The driver was very concerned about not damaging an overhead tree in my driveway, and took great care unloading the mulch. Everyone was very professional and I'm extremely pleased with this company.

Price quoted was inline with the market. Vendor was prompt and professional. Product delivered was as promised and expected. Company thanked me for my business and sent a follow up thank you card which included wild flowers. Will use this company again in the future.

They are fantastic! We use them every season, but I never realized that they were on Angie's List. You do not have to be home for the dely either, just ask them to dump the mulch onto a tarp you have laid out ahead of time, and they dump it right on the tarp. Excellent!

The lady who answered my call was professional, courteous and very upbeat and nice. They always do a good job, deliver on time and right where you want it.

McCarty Mulch & Stone help me determine what kind of mixture and how much I needed for my garden. I also needed extra to fill in ruts around the yard. They broke everything down to help me get the best price for what I needed. They were able to deliver right away and when they did, they placed the pile "exactly" where we wanted it. I won't hesitate to use them again. The garden mix is really nice.

The folks at McCarty were very nice, and were happy to help me load my rock onto the scale and back into my van. Their pleasant personalities and good selection made it worth the 30 minute drive.

The gentleman who delivered the mulch dumped it exactly where I asked him to. The quality of the mulch was excellent. Not only was service very prompt, they sent me a thank you for doing business with them. I would definitely use this company again.

GREAT! The person I spoke with initially was professional and knowledgeable. She answered my questions and gave me great advice. We arranged the delivery and payment in one phone call. The quality of the product was excellent, the mulch was delivered exactly when promised and in the agreed upon location.

I looked them up, called them and they delivered that same day - that's how good they were. They were out within 4 hours with the product. They delivered it exactly where I asked and the product is beautiful.

This is the second time we have used McCarty. When I called, Jan greeted me and was able to pull up my purchase history right away. She identified what we had ordered previously, confirmed the amounts, delivery location, day and time, and took care of everything promptly and professionally. I called back shortly, because I had failed to mention I was an AL customer. I also asked if they had any promotions for list members at the time. Jan said she didn't show any, but would check and call back. She called back shortly, and said that they had a mailing that was going out to list members that week, and they would go ahead and offer me the discount. I heard lots of good things about McCarty from family members, and they were all true! They have always exceeded my expectations and will continue to be my go-to supplier for mulch and topsoil.

Their web site was very helpfull in chosing a product and amount to order. The company representative I spoke to by telephone when ordering was helpful and friendly. The load was delivered when scheduled and quickly deposited where requested.

They were very timely on their delivery of the mulch, and the mulch was good, the texture was a little more rough than wanted but it did the job well.

As with my recent topsoil order, it went great! They took my order pleasantly and professionally, delivered in the agreed-upon time and place and gave me a quality product. I can't say enough about their customer service and how I know I can order something sight unseen from them knowing it will exceed my expectations. Thanks!
