Description of Work: Checked A/C and air handleing equipment and added one pound of Freon. A/C now works better than new.

Description of Work: We purchased a $54 AC tune up. They squeezed us in immediately. Tech came out and discovered our AC was broken. He advised we have Mark the owner come out and have a look at our system. We have a very old home and the tech noticed a few things about our venting that he though could use a more thorough analysis. Mark came out Saturday morning (wow) to do a heat loss heat Han analysis. He measured every single window, door,noted walls w insulation vs plaster, he literally spent 2 hours at our house...he noted things about our Water heater, connections, east west facing walls I mean wow! I have never even heard of this. Mark came back Monday to discuss his calculations and showed up w 10 pages of hand written calculations/ analysis. I had no way of checking his work but his knowledge and expertise was clear. He quoted us on his recommendations, he never pressured us but painted a full picture for us. His guys came the following week and installed for 5 days, they were extremely polite and kept me informed. Mark himself was here helping every day. One thing that really more saw me was we had a pipe that was in their way during the install...I overheard mark calling a plumber n and I thought oh boy the $ is going to go up. He didn't even tell me or mention he was doing it...he just took care of it which to me means he just wanted it done right. That was really impressive. While doing his analysis he noted out AC was undersized and out furnace was oversized. He sold us a Trane AC and reminded us tht we would not see our full energy savings until we replaced our furnace because the variable speed motor in the furnace has an effect on that cost...most guys would just sell u on the savings and not tell u the 2nd piece of the puzzle...I have officially named him the "AC whisperer". He set up our new vents and AC and we are going to do Phase 2 w the furnace in the fall. Words cannot describe how drastic the change had been in our house. Our ac is amazing and we feel Mark charges a very fair price for the service he offers. He is incredible, his team was I credible, and I was 100% comfortable w them in my home. Glad we did this because mark suspected our furnace probably had a crack in it because of the imbalance between ac and furnace...he opened it up and sure thing...had a crack all the way around. With two small kids in the house I am so grateful we had mark out. Even bought a tune up for my mother as a gift.

Description of Work: I had Mark out to perform a quote in July of 2010 when it was hot and humid to quote a new ac and furnace system. I was quoted three different brands based on price. I did choose the less expensive brand. I called a month ago when we were having the 80 degree weather to confirm if he would still honor the quote for the complete system replacement. He pulled my proposal and said yes. He did ask what brand I was going with, and I did specify the cheaper of the three. I called back to schedule and they put me a week out. The receptionist asked what brand I wanted installed, and Again I specified the cheaper option. The morning of the appointment when he was suppose to arrive at 9am he called at 9:30 am to tell me he did not quote a new system replacement for the option I chose, just the furnace. I find this to be a blunt lie, since my furnace works fine, not the ac, and you do not need a furnace in the middle of July when quoted, or in May when it was suppose to be instslled. Coincidentally, the Trane system he quoted was a complete system price, but the two less expensive brands were just furnace prices. It specfically states on the quote compkete system replacement. He specified he would not profit, so he was not going to perform the work quoted, nor the work that he reconfirmed. I have a service company also on here, and when we quote a job we perform the work, regardless if we profit or not. Based on this company's other recent report, I would stay clear from such a unprofessional and lazy company/owner. You certainly do not want anyone in your home that is incapable of installing a new ac without filling your entire home with toxic freon, and a company that cannot even quote nor stand behind a quote properly.

Description of Work: I called them in because they are the recommended vendor for my home warranty co. They gave me a 2nd opinion on whether my furnace needed to be replaced.

Description of Work: They've supplied service to my air conditioner and furnace for 4 years now. They are great at this. I would recommend them to anyone for heating/cooling repairs or service.
