Stripped off one layer of roofing and replaced. We changed a couple of things from original estimate, and Doug came right out and re-worked the estimate. They were very nice people to work with. The materials arrived a day before the work began per our request. We were very pleased with everything, they did an excellent job. Easy to work with.

Mitch provided the estimate and seemed knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately I never saw Mitch again. After initial estimate I called back twice and asked them to include new gutters. No estimate provided and when they neared time to start the roofing job I was told it was too late to add gutters. When the roof was complete I was concerned with the lumpy appearance but the supervisor told me it would go away in time. 4 months later it looked worse rather than better. I contacted Godwin and asked them to check it out. No one showed up in person but the next day I was told they needed to have the factory rep check it. Didn't hear from them again so I called them 3 weeks later. Spoke to Mitch who assured me that the factory rep was needed but he was out of town. It has now been two months since my initial call and I still have heard nothing and seen no one at my house in person. My impression is that once the money is in hand, you'd better hope for no problems.

They were very nice people to work with. They were quicker than their estimate of when they could start work, the materials arrived the day after we approved the work to be done, and the crew arrived an hour earlier than we were told. The only problem was the electric line mounting bracket pulled out from the roof decking, but they came out the next day and repaired. We were very pleased with everything.

I called and left my name and number with the lady that answered the phone. She was very polite and pleasant. I was very impressed that Mitch Godwin called me back that same day. He came out and inspected my roof that same week and left me a written estimate with shingle samples. I have not had the work done yet, but will definitely be calling Godwin to do the work.

They had left a skid in my back turnaround that had a large box of nails and material. It had been left there for weeks, and I finally had to have it thrown away. However, they took back 9 bundles of shingles and I believe I should of got a refund because they didn't use all the material or at least have given me a bundle or two for repairs. I called them and they said they would bring me couple bundles and it has been weeks and they haven't dropped off the shingles. They also left a 14" iron cutter that was left on top of my chimney. Also, when I walk out my back door I get rained on because they didn't put the shingles over my 3-4" downspout. I like my roof, but I was disappointed and don't think it was very professional to leave that material on my property.

My husband talked to them, they came out gave us an estimate, and we later arrived at a time for the work to be done. This house is in Indianapolis and we live 3 hours away. We needed someone dependable. The price was right, The crew arrived early in the morning and were finished by 5 pm. Later the manager came out and went over things with my husband. We were very pleased with the workmanship, the price, and the service. They were always polite and answered questions and this was important since we had to make the trip back to Indy so we could be there when the work was done.

The contractor was relatively prompt with the quote, and promised to complete the work within a two-week period. The materials were delivered the day after the contract was agreed to but the workers never showed up. The project was canceled well-over a month past the due date because there was no indication they were planning to deliver on their promise. The office worker and sales folks were polite but unfortunately could not deliver on promises. Memo to Godwin: don't take on projects you can't handle; customers would prefer an honest no over strings of broken promises.

I was very pleased, very professional. Did the work in a timely fashion. Had the best price! It was a very very good experience.

I had a positive experience. They were punctual and though. They found extra problems and took care of it, without extra charge. They are also very clean. We are pleased.

We contacted Godwin on 5/31 for an estimate due to hail damage; we followed up on 6/14 and were put on a wait list to get the estimate. Godwin representative, Mitch, was here on 6/16 to give the initial written estimate for roof and 2 sides of vinyl siding. We called Godwin again to ask for additional estimate on soffit, fascia, and the rest of the siding. Mitch provided a phone estimate only on 7/5. We chose to go with another contractor.

The company was on time, on budget and did a good job.

They were very accommodating. They took initiative on a bunch of problems. It was great.

They were very good at taking care of a problem. One of the employees accidentally damaged one of our gutters. They took full blame for the damage and sent us a check right away for the damage.

Chose Godwin after calling three other roofers who weren't doing any more roofing projects this year. It took some time (about 3-4 weeks) to get someone out to do the estimate. Godwin likes to do the estimate while you're home which I didn't know so the first time they called, I was at work and couldn't leave. After the estimate, I had to wait for the insurance adjuster to come out but Godwin wanted to go ahead and schedule the job. I said no and that caused another short delay before I could get Godwin back out after the adjustor's report to take a final look at the roof and to assess gutter damage. After that things went very quickly and the materials were delivered within two days and the roof was done the next day. Overall, a good job on the roof. Had a soda can left in one of my trees and an oil spot on the driveway but otherwise the clean up was good compared to others I have spoken to who had new roofs from other companies.

They were very punctual, and the salesman was just super.

Quality of workmanship was good. The issues I had were lack of timely communication when workers were coming to do the work. In the case of the roof, received a call the morning of the replacement. There were no calls at all for the other 2 repairs. When the siding was replaced, pictures, et. al. fell off the walls. Would have prepared, if I had known they were coming. Also asked to have porch screens repaired. They provided an estimate, but when asked when it would be scheduled, were informed they couldn't do the work. Had residue from the re-roofing (staples, nails) falling into the yard/driveway for weeks after the work was done. On the plus side, they worked with my insurance company to adjust the reimbursement to more closely cover their estimate.

Very well. The estimate was delivered promptly. Work was performed in a timely manner. Workers were very prompt and kept the yard clean.

I called and left a message stating that I needed an estimate for a new roof. They called back in a reasonable amount of time, and scheduled an appointment to inspect the roof. Doug followed up more than once while I was getting additional estimates. I called Doug and told him I would like to have them do the roof, but I was interested in another maker of shingles. He said that wouldn't be a problem. As soon as the weather permitted, they came and replaced the roof and did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend them to anyone. We are very pleased with their work.

They came out in the morning and was finished in one day. They moved my dish and I had to call direct TV and they had to install a new base for the dish. I contacted Godwin about this issue and they had to install new shingles around the new base and remove the old base that direct TV left. It took them about a day 1/2 to complete the siding job.

I really liked the professionalism of the representative who came to measure my roof and do the estimate. I wished he would have done the negotiation with my insurance company because I needed help. I understand some companies (like Best Roofing) do this for people. I didn't hire Best because I gave my word to the Godwin salesperson that he would get the job. Because there are so many hail damage claims, I needed to wait a while to get the project scheduled. After it was done I thought there was a leak around the chimney flashing. Godwin's VP got someone right out the next morning to meet with my regular interior contractor, James Scarborough. I trust James with everything in regard to my home. Turns out the leak came from hairline cracks in my chimney & Godwin's roof was tight. I do think their customer service and communication could be improved though. Some companies are super friendly and warm. Some companies just take care of business. I prefer companies that do both well.

Our experience with Godwin was excellent. The people at Godwin responded to us immediately, had someone out to give us a quote within a couple of days, and even called us back to see if we had any questions. Our roof was replaced within three weeks of us making our initial call, which was much faster than we expected or even than was promised. Everyone we spoke to was extremely courteous and responsive. The workers were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. The office staff was very helpful, even providing me a cleaned up invoice for my insurance company after the work was done. Their quote came in below others, and even below our insurance estimate. They did not ask for any payment prior to the work being completed, which was very helpful to us since we were waiting for an insurance check. We would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Rep was prepared to only estimate a whole roof tear off replacement, without getting on roof. I had specically requested on roof inspection and roof repair estimate on the phone, but rep was not aware of this. When he arrived, I requested he go on the roof with me, to chalk the identified damage. He did help with this, but was not willing to do much of this. He (and his company), was only interested in full roof replacement and any repair less than a full roof replacement, was not doable for them.

I had hail damage and they replaced my roof, Mitch Godwin called me back very promptly dropped off samples and explained any delays due to all homes damaged in the storm. They did my roof as promptly as possible very happy with the job done, and I am going to use them for siding and gutters.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CREW'S WORK ETHIC, I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY NEEDS WORK ON COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM.

I didn't have any problems or issues with them. Everything went smoothly.
