Mitch Godwin is very easy to work with and extremely informative. The crew doing the work (due to hail damage) is actually the same core crew that did our initial installation 18 years ago. Once again the job was completed in one day and we were so very pleased with the professionalism with which they work. They took every measure to protect our property as well as leaving it very clean. We did a walk around afterward and didn't find any issues.

I am extremely satisfied with the new roof Godwin Homes put on our house at Lamb Lake. Mitch Godwin personally came to our house, evaluated the roof, explained to us the various options and pros and cons of material, and quoted us a very reasonable price. Before, during, and afterwards, Mitch provided excellent communication and updates on the status of the project. His crew did a great job, replacing any damaged or rotten wood underneath the shingles, and paid special attention to valleys, flashing, chimneys, and other complex parts of the roof. When finished, the crew did a great job of cleaning up the work site. I am extremely happy with the work and would definitely recommend Godwin Homes as well as hire them again when I need some work done on my house. He also helped get me set up with a gutter company to replace my old gutter system!

Mitch Godwin responded promptly to provide an estimate. Mitch communicated well thru out the process. He determined what I needed and provided options for siding. He quickly scheduled a worker out to fix the leak in the roof by installing a pipe boot. I did not have to wait long for Mitch to schedule a crew to complete the work. The crew installed siding and repaired holes in soffit. The crew was friendly and polite. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work.

The Godwin team was professional and easy to work with, Communicating with Mitch was very easy. He was always responsive and helpful. The team was very detail-oriented and we were pleased with their work. At the end of each day they cleaned up their work area. They were very pleasant to work with and we would re-hire them for other jobs, when needed.

The process was excellent. A detailed quote was prepared ahead of time which was very reasonable. The work crew showed up exactly on time as scheduled. The crew did a highly professional job and all of the repairs look rock solid and well done. The crew cleaned up the work site and removed all materials after work was done. Mitch Godwin and his crew were nothing short of superior in their workmanship, responsiveness, helpfulness, fairness. You would be hard-pressed to find a company better than this. For our project, there were some very serious, unexpected electrical issues that arose during the project that was through no fault of their own (it was partially due to this being an older home and the electrical wiring), yet they did their due diligence - WAY beyond the call of duty - to make sure that my home was taken care of. They helped me get in contact with a high-quality electrician and Mitch came on site throughout the whole process and offered much-appreciated guidance in navigating through the crazy electrical issues my house was having (again, through no fault of their own). Again, all the guys on the crew were FANTASTIC. I would definitely recommend this company. They do care about their customers. Work completed: Installed new siding on entire second floor over our current stucco, aluminum trim on window cases and back door, replaced cedar trim around main front window. Beyond call of duty: Found an electrician for me. Helped locate and isolate an electrical fire in the house and advised what to do. Came on the morning of Thanksgiving to try to find out what the heck was going on with my electrical system to make sure it wasn't due to anything they did. Helped move a desk inside my house so the electrician could get to the problematic outlet. And more... Thanks again, Mitch.

Excellent ! The crew on my house were very capable. I could tell they have worked together a long time. They made suggestions and everything looks Wonderful. The crew showed up everyday cleaned up each day. They finished on the timeline they set. We had a full tear off of failed fiber cement board. It was replaced with HardiePlank. The crew followed all of the HardiePlank installation process. We are very pleased with the whole process. The owner and the crew had great communication, all of our concerns were answered and addressed. Definitely worth calling for your projects.

Godwin Homes put new siding on my house two years ago so I knew they would be my first choice for new roofing. Mitch has an excellent crew. They are on time, give a full day of work and clean up meticulously when the job is done. Also, Mitch is a good communicator. He always responds quickly to a phone call or text message and follows up daily on site. The new roof on the house and pole barn look beautiful. Very prompt, and honest about our repair needs. The crew came back with days and took great care of us.

The company was very professional in quality of work and attitude. Siding and window installation was neat, siding was all properly aligned, obvious care was taken on the installation. There were no high pressure sales tactics. Godwin Construction was not the lowest cost quote I received, but for the high quality of work I am pleased with the results and have no regrets.

Godwin completed my roof and gutter replacement quickly. They helped me navigate the insurance claim and answered my numerous questions. Crew worked late to complete the job and cleaned up well.

Never again will I select Godwin. Originally, I wrote a glowing review. Then, rain came. I started to notice a discoloring of my garage ceiling. Fall 2016 the roof was installed. November 2017 the discoloring of the drywall ceiling appeared. I emailed godwinhomes@icloud.com the pictures and he called right away and had someone come out twice, but they never fixed it. He had us put covers over the vents to fix it. That was useless to cover vents because there were pin holes of light coming through. Just fix those. No other work was done to my roof or house. We heard every bizarre excuse except saying, "We screwed up and we need to make good on this and fix it." The repairs the guy made still did not fix it. Plus, my drywall ceiling was ruined and Godwin didn't even offer to address or repair that. A brand new roof should last 10 years, correct? We finally got it fixed ourselves. Now, we get to also replace the drywall ceiling. When I have a service performed, I expect the work to be performed and not have to go fix other things because of poor installation. Again, I say, "Never, will I select Godwin." If you would have fixed the roof and fixed the drywall, I would have kept the review the same. Mr. Mitch Godwin, I believe poor business ethics result in poor review. See pictures revealing the performance of the roof installation.

Mitch kept in touch until we could pin point a date for the work. Bob came out for the repair and did a superior job. Would hire them again, very happy with the finished product and even happier that its suppose to be squirrel proof!

The exact same area of the siding seemed to come off my house every few years due to windstorms. I have had two other contractors come out to repair/replace the siding. The first time, I just had someone come out and replace. The second time I called a different contractor and explained that this was a recurring problem and I was interested in correcting the root cause, but they didn't do much different than the first contractor. Godwin was my third attempt to get the siding issue corrected and they took the time to come out multiple times and really try to understand the problem and customize a solution. They even ran into some minor cost overruns (my fault, not theirs; they had to come out an additional time due to a critter infestation that I didn't get taken care of before some additional damage was done) and they didn't charge me for the additional trip or the additional fixing.

Mitch leads a first class operation. Based on feedback from peers who have had roofs done, his pricing is extremely competitive, in fact a great value when you look at the quality and style of the shingles they offer. He also has one crew so they know their stuff. Granted I have a simple roof, a one story ranch style home; but they did the roof, complete tear off and new roof & my shed in one day. I was stunned they worked so fast. It looks great. Very happy with the work and the price. Would recommend Godwin homes to anyone in need of quality workmanship at a fair price.

Their work is so good the quarterly Orkin technician literally passed by my house the first time he came by following their work!! This speaks directly to their exceptional quality and value. Mitch Godwin's team and crew are true craftsman in every sense of the word.
