Description of Work: I called them to see about an estimate to replace my deck. I described my deck over the phone and was told they could give me a tentative estimate via e-mail with a precise estimate to follow after someone had come out to look at my deck. I received no e-mail estimate and no one came to look at my deck in person.

Description of Work: They built me a 16 by 9 deck off my sun room. It went great. Job finished in a timely manner, and very professional looking. One of the boards warped and they came out, replaced the bad board and stained it for me.

Description of Work: They installed a protective material over the tin flooring on our balcony. We had previously used them to re-build our entire balcony railing and were very happy with that so we used them again.

 + -1 moreKevin was very responsive and did the estimate at the home after looking at the job. His wood was number one quality versus others and he was a very nice person to talk with. I decided not to go with his company due to the fact that they nail instead of screw down the decking. As it turns out, I am having problems with the screwed down lumber that the contractor I chose used. I might have been better off with his approach and I would have saved a lot of $$.

 + -1 moreON TIME, POLITE, AND THIS WAS THE LOWEST ESTIMATE OF 3 COMPANIES WE CHECKED. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! THE ENTIRE DECK WAS BUILT IN APPROXIMATELY 8 HOURS! IT IS A WORK OF ART. THE WOOD IS BEAUTIFUL, THE BENCH HAS ROUNDED CORNERS, AND THE KICKOUT IS PERFECT. THIS HAS ADDED GREAT VALUE TO OUR HOME. KEVIN SEEMED TO READ OUR MINDS ON WHAT WE DESCRIBED TO HIM. HE NOTICED EVERY DETAIL, SUCH AS WHERE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AND LIGHTS WERE AND HOW TO INCORPORATE THEM INTO THE DESIGN. I AM GOING TO USE THEM AGAIN NEXT YEAR TO ADD A WALKOUT DECK TO OUR SECOND STORY.

 + -1 moreTHE CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME. THEY HAD SOME BUSHES TO REMOVE BEFORE THEY COULD START ON THE DECK. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF PREPARING THE AREA FOR CONSTRUCTION. THEY THEN BUILT THE DECK IN TWO DAYS. THE END RESULT IS A VERY ATTRACTIVE EXTENSION TO OUR PORCH. IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE, IT BLENDS SO WELL WITH THE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION. AND, THE HANDICAP RAMP LOOKS LIKE IT IS JUST A PART OF THE DECK AND NOT TACKED ONTO THE SIDE. THIS COMPANY USES QUALITY MATERIALS. THE DECKING MATERIAL IS VERY CLEAR AND HAS NO KNOTS OR BLEMISHES. THEY DO VERY NICE WORK. WE'RE REALLY HAPPY WITH OUR NEW PORCH AND RAMP.
Description of Work: WE WANTED TO ADD A HANDICAP RAMP TO OUR HOME TO ACCOMMODATED MY MOTHER'S WHEELCHAIR, BUT WE DID NOT WANT IT TO DETRACT FROM THE APPEARANCE OF OUR HOME. KEVIN CAME OUT AND GAVE US SOME GOOD IDEAS FOR THE LAYOUT. WE DECIDED ON AN EXTENSION OF OUR CURRENT PORCH THAT WRAPPED AROUND THE HOUSE, ENDING IN THE RAMP.
