MUEGGE HEATING & COOLING

I am familiar with them from being in a network group. I also just know of the family and have had previous work done by them. The price was better too. There was one guy who came out and did not wear anything over his shoes and kind of messed up my carpet, but it was going to have to be replaced anyway. I have referred them to my neighbors. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

Randy was very responsible, explained everything and did a professional job.

The job went very well. They were able to start the job a couple of days after giving me an estimate. They were on time and completed the job to my satisfaction. They were professional and would certainly hire them again in the future.

After making a negative report about the company on Angie's List, they called me in a timely manner, and resolved the issue promptly and to my satisfaction. I have been using them for 30 years, and I am very happy with them.

We pay for an annual contract. They come twice a year and check the parts and how well the furnace and air conditioner are functioning. They are very trustworthy and honest. They are very dependable.

Were here on time, professional, and did a good job and cleaned up the mess. The only thing was we kind of played phone tag when it came to our kitchen project, so we wound up going with Bedell. That happens....and it was both ways (us and them), I don't think this was a normal situation in our case, and we would use them again.

I researched plumbing and heating on Angie's List and found a local company, Muegge's. Very pleasant to deal with, no pressure for add ons. Had to order a few parts which came quickly and they called and set up an installation appointment. Very happy with the quality of work and how nice everyone was to deal with. Very prompt and I would highly recommend them.

The representative from Muegges cleaned the fireplace however the problems still exist. We are going to have them work on it again, hopefully successfully this time.

I have already told my story as stated above. The answers that are * not true since nothing has occurred.

I have used them about 4 or 5 time and every time they have done a great job. I like that they don’t try to sell you new things when ever they come for a repair, they are very reasonable. You just don’t have to worry with him.

I am not happy with them. They took out the cover for the filter. They told me to get a new filter. I did not realize there was a cover and they did not tell me to put the cover back on. When I put the new filter in I was drawing hot air into the house and it appeared the air conditioning was not fixed. They were supposed to come back and fix it. Obviously the problem was the simple thing of not telling me to put the cover back on. If I had them come out they would have charged me to put in a whole new air conditioner. I felt cheated by them. I had another company come out and they saw immediately it was that the cover was not replaced. They put the cover back on and it was immediately fixed. I will never use Muegge again. I usually have great experience with Angie's List companies. I did not get Muegge off the list. I had seen them in my community. They were definitely taking advantage of me. Especially because I am widowed and I don't know what is going on with things like this, it really offends me.

They were very professional with their workmanship and paperwork. I had great service from the office as well as the technician. Also, they were very upfront about how they would perform the service.

For the master bath, Randy worked me on an overall design that would meet my budget. For the tub, he rebuilt an enclosure - with a well located, large access panel that is seamless integrated into the trim...the previous design was haphazard and useless as an access panel. His carpenter went above and beyond what I expected on the enclosure as well -- added trim that was routed to match the existing trim in the entire house. WOW - that helped the new bath design fit in well, not looking like a recent bolt-on. For the wall tile, I wanted some glass tile in the design - and Randy coached me into a design that was much better suited to the space and my budget. It turned out fantastic! The custom built shower is sharp, clean lined and fits in well with my design vision. I LOVE taking showers and bubble baths now...the entire space is relaxing, warm and spacious. My friends drool over the whole layout. For the kitchen, because of how well the tile guys did on the bath and because I had extra glass tile, I asked Randy to quote me for a new backsplash. He knew I wanted kitchen floors redone, so I had him quote those as well. The price was right - and I loved the design. He suggested diagonal placement on the floors. A friend who does tile was over mid-project and was amazed at how thorough the execution was...the "mat" or "boarding" that was put in under the tile as both glued and nailed; when the guys stapled/nailed, they went "above and beyond" and put in extra...the backing was going nowhere! And it was seamlessly flat...which also impressed my friend. And my friend was impressed at the detail work - the guys handcut EVERY diagonal cut...some installers apparently get lazy and just cut out several en masse and "hope" they fit in, covering their slop with the quarter round. But these were individually cut to fit and the lines were straight and sharp. With the backsplash, the line of glass tile was set evenly centered over the switches...with 4-5 switch plates to work around, that added a lot of manual cutting. But, the effect is amazing...the backsplash is complete, integrated and flows across 1/2 the kitchen to tie in the two main work areas. I LOVE it. The overall kitchen design is WOW - was vinyl before with a cheap partial backsplash...Randy's work completes the upgrades I've done with paint, new stainless steel appliances, etc.

We are holding off on getting a new system but his estimate was very reasonable and offered a few extras that the bigger companies did not include. I also felt like he wasn't trying to oversell us and he did not pressure us.

My shower/tub had trouble draining due to a clog. I was unable to remove the stopper to clear it myself, so I called Muegge Plumbing to do it. The cleared the clog on Thursday, but I noticed that evening that the stopper no longer worked. I let them know, and first thing Friday morning, a plumber was dispatched to replace the defected stopper - at no additional charge. Everyone from the office staff to the plumbers were very professional yet friendly. All commitments were kept. I am very satisfied with my experience!

Came on time and performed services exactly as expected. Cleaned furnace, replaced/cleaned filters in both furnace and humidifier. Saved us money by repairing existing duct work instead of replacing it. Very responsive company.

I have been using their services for about thirty five years. They are prompt, efficient, have good pricing and do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. Their employees are very courteous and neat. They clean up before they leave everyday.

They came out on Monday and had to dig down at least 4 feet. It took several hours. They had a ditch witch, so we thought it would be really expensive. He said we were in the system, so didn't accept a check immediately when he fixed it. He said he would send a bill and we were shocked that it was under $300! We were very pleased with their services.

They did a very good job for us. I would highly recommend them.
