Description of Work: I bought the Angie's List deal for $89. I then received this e-mail from Kessingers: Hello! We would like to thank you for taking advantage of the big deal. The big deal is based on a 10,000 sq. ft. lot. To give a deal like this where we do not go to each location to give an estimate we have to price by lot size. We check lot size on the assessors web site and charge 2.5 cents per sq. ft. over the 10,000 sq ft deal. This is still an average savings of 30% over my competitors. Your lot size is 13,958 sq. ft. over and there will be an additional charge of $35.00 per treatment. This can be paid on the day of service with a check to Kevin Kessinger or Kessinger Lawn Care. You can leave the check taped to the door or under the doormat. We will be there (weather permitting) on March 23, 2012 to do the first treatment. If you have any questions please give us a call or e-mail us. Note, they did not come to my house. They made the calculations from an assessor's web site. I called and expained to them that we have a very large deck and a large pool surrounded by a significant amount of landscaping. Although this bothered me we negotiated an adjustment. Kessingers did do the first two treatments. I called in August to tell them that I had just planted new grass and asked if they could skip the late summer treatment and give me the fall treatment instead. They readily agreed. Then they forgot about me. I called two weeks ago and told them that Angie's List was asking me to review their performance and that they had not met their commitment for three lawn treatments. They realized their mistake and apologized. They promised that the treatment would take the next day (Saturday) or the following Wednesday. It has now been two weeks with no treatment. It is December 10th and they have not yet fulfilled their commitment. This is very unprofessional. I will not use them again. It's too bad. I would have liked to contract with them to aerate my lawn but they have lost my business.

Description of Work: Kessinger did apply two of the three treatments, which considering this past summer and the drought did only a little good in controling the weeds. My lawn was heathier than before and greener. I gave a B rating as they have yet to apply the third treatment, and I am unsure when to expect that service.

Description of Work: 3 lawn treatments were provided. I probably didn't read the fine print on the offer but the square footage was calculated on the LOT SIZE and not on how much actual lawn there is at the property. We had to pay an additional amount due to their calculation of out lot size...

Description of Work: I responded tothebig deal e mail (feb 16) on 2-24-12 and was told they would be setting up routes early marchand would contact us. this did not happen. around 3-25 we recalled them. they returned our call on 3-27 telling usthey needed to look up our lot size on the internet and would get back to us. again this did not happen as of 4-12. it appears they are not interested in ourbusiness or in reacting to their ad.

Description of Work: 2 rounds of leaf and acorn raking and disposal in Nov and Dec. Good job. Very reasonable price. Some delay in 2nd visit due to rainy weather. Men who did job (3 in Nov and 2 in Dec) were very polite and professional.

Description of Work: We got 3 estimates for lawn care & treatments. All companies were rated by Angie's List, but Kessingers had the best price, terms & service for the price. They have followed through effectively & as scheduled for the last 4 months. We will continue to use this company.
