Ellison Electric Inc

I recently had a list of items to address, so prepaid through an advertised deal for 2 hours. Austin arrived right on time and got to work immediately. The items entailed adding 2 outlets for wall-mounted tvs wired to the nearest outlet, adding a new outlet in the garage wired to an outlet on an interior wall, and running new electrical to a ceiling fan box that I had already installed. This required the most time as I also requested that the existing light switch for a switched outlet be used for the fan instead. The total job required 1 1/2 additional hours + some materials that I hadn't provided. Overall, very impressed with Austin - very courteous, professional and efficient. Also very pleased with the follow-up communication from Ellison after purchasing the deal on this site. I didn't feel the price was 'excellent' in my rating, but was happy with it, felt it was fair, and it was inline with my expectations. I was happy with my experience, would use/recommend Ellison again.

Dustin was on the go from the time he came in the door. His attitude was positive and I heard him whistling to the Christmas music I had playing. This put me to at ease, making me truly know, I had chosen the right company. At one point he showed us an outlet that was partially melted. If we hadn't called Ellison Electric ,Inc I shudder at what could have happened. Thank you, Dustin!

Fantastic! Electrician showed up on time (7:30am), got right to work, explained procedures and straightened up area when finished! This will be the ONLY electrical company from now on!

Electrical contractor indicated to get power to the location we needed to have the fan was very costly, thus we no longer need to install a ceiling fan.

They came within just a day or two of my phone call. Very professional. Worked very well to trace through our wiring to see what was causing our power to go out in part of our house. They found the source of the problem and replaced the trouble. They also found another source of potential trouble and took care of that as well. We were very pleased with their work. They were not the cheapest. But we were very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to call them again.

After doing some research on Angie's List, we found Ellison Electric Inc and decided to go with them, after the fabulous communication with Bill. I wrote Bill a message through Angie's List inquiring about the job and pricing. He was very upfront about pricing and what the job would entail right off the bat. We got in touch with Bill on Sunday (I believe) via and Angie's List message, and by Tuesday we had the appointment scheduled for the next week, as he was booked that current week. On Wednesday Bill called us to let us know that he had a spot open up on the Friday of that week, which worked out perfectly for my husband and I. The gentleman who came out was great! He rewired everything we needed fixed, and was very professional. The best part about all of this (other than the quality of work) is that they finished the work an hour sooner than Bill had told us to expect it would take, which saved us a ton of money! Thank you so much Bill and Staff for helping us out! We will definitely be using you in the future, and recommend you to anyone who is in need of an electrician!

Worked me in within a couple of days of calling. Jason arrived promptly at the time agreed to. Quickly assessed the issue and determined it was an issue with the dishwasher and not some other electrical issue. Fixed the dishwasher and ran it before leaving to make sure it was working. Provided details regarding the issue and answered all questions If I have any issues in the future, this is the company I will call.

The work went fine. The worker's are fine. They charge per trip which I haven't been able to talk them out of. They would not give me an Angie's List discount since I didn't have a booklet to prove I was a member. I was brand new, I did not have a magazine. That was very annoying.They are expensive and they're good.

Perfectly smooth. Electricians were punctual, had all needed supplies, worked consistently and diligently, and left work areas clean.

They gave me an estimate, and installed them efficiently. The owner Bill is always quick to follow up, and sends out a great technician every time. They did an excellent job, these are the best people I have ever worked with.

The whole experience went well. I communicated with Bill who manages a small team of electricians. He came highly recommended by the real estate agent (also highly rated and recommended on Angie's List) He sent one of his men on the date specified who came and did the job. The non-working outlet turned out to be a bit of a puzzle as he had traced it to a wire in the wall that was obviously not connected. This ended up causing a lot of attic work for him but he eventually was able to re-route power (instead of tearing the wall apart). The job took a bit longer than expected due to the complications but there was no additional charge. I was charged exactly what I was quoted. Overall he was fast, friendly and charged an extremely reasonable rate.

The electrician was friendly, courteous and did a good job. The quality of work was good and not in question. However, upon reviewing my credit card statement I noticed that Ellison charged me more than what the electrician had printed on the service receipt. The 3% credit card surcharge is not going to break the bank, but I would have liked for the electrician taking my credit card to have let me know about the surcharge for paying with credit card. At the time, I didn't notice the print on the service receipt that stated "3% fee for credit card," the header for the box which contained my credit card information. Obviously, I didn't pay attention to the 3% fee statement on the receipt. It would have been nice to have the fee pointed out to me prior to paying with credit card, to give me the option to avoid the 3% fee. I don't like to receive surprises on my credit card statement.

Everything went well. He called the night before and when he was on his way. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions to my satisfaction. Their rates were reasonable and I would highly recommend considering using them for future electrical needs.

Ellison Electric is a top notch provider. Mr. Ellison is my electrician of record and I've recommended him to several others.

Our electrical bills have doubled in the past few months and the kilowatts used continued to spike. Our electric utility checked the meter and found it to be functional. An HVAC company checked the heat pump without finding a problem. At this point I wanted a knowledgeable electrician who could check our house electrical system and pinpoint the issue. The tech came out a few days after I contacted Ellison Electric and made the appointment first thing in the morning so he would have a good amount of time to check the house. He arrived promptly, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He tested the junction box and found two breakers that had more amps drawing electricity than what was normal - the heat pump and the furnace. The furnace breaker had twice the normal draw. The tech identified the problem as the heat pump and furnace working at the same time instead of separately; basically we were cooling the house and heating it at the same time because of an issue with the furnace. He noted his findings on our report, suggested we call the HVAC company again, and even offered to speak to them on the phone if they had questions. His diligence to troubleshoot the cause was impressive as was his ability to explain this to me in layman's terms. Later that evening Bill Ellison called to check on how we liked their service and the results our HVAC company found when they came out later in the day. The problem with the furnace was exactly what Ellison Electric had diagnosed. Thankfully Ellison found the problem and now our utility bills will be back to normal. I am extremely pleased with their service, attention to detail, knowledgeable employees and thorough followup. I would wholeheartedly recommend them!

I cannot recommend Ellison Electric highly enough. The personnel were courtesies, competent, considerate The company showed up on time, keep me posted on progress and the invoice was on estimate. Ellison Electric is my "go to" electrician. Rob came to my house to look into why my lights were flickering. Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the issue on the first visit. The next morning, I could reproduce the flickering lights and he came right back and immediately found and addressed the issue. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Bill Ellison is the consummate professional. I've used him to add lighting to the outside, ceiling fans inside and various other electrical needs are in the pipeline. He's fair and trustworthy. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so. He is my electrician of record and I appreciate his service.

Rob was very knowledgeable and found the problem right away. He was very courteous and was happy to answer many questions and checked other items in the home while he was here. Would highly recommend and will use again.

Dustin from Ellison Electric replaced front and back porch lights for me. He very kindly also adjusted a garage door light that wouldn't stay lit and answered a question I had about some outdoor lighting. He arrived promptly and was very patient and professional. I am very happy with the work that was done..... really went the extra mile.

We scheduled with Bill to do an estimate. He showed up at the agreed time and sent the estimate later that day via email. He was good about working with us to schedule a time to do the work. He showed up timely and did the work in a short amount of time.

Excellent! They explained the issue with the outlets and neatly installed the fan making a great suggestion about the switch control.

There were two separate residences and both went very well. Could not be at our residence at the agreed upon time but called well in advance to say they would be 20 minutes late. I appreciated the call. All work was completed and area was cleaned up. I thought we were going to have to wait until the next day to have the work completed at the second residence. However, there was a opening in their schedule and all the work was done on the same day. I was very happy with the work completed. I have used Ellison Electric on several occasions and have never been disappointed in their service.

They are an outstanding company. They are so honest and I just can't say enough about their work. They even put up smoke alarms where I didn't know they needed to be. They were so clean and neat as well. The owner is so extremely nice and his wif who works in the office is wonderful as well.
