Description of Work: Mr. Ellison has done several jobs for us. We have been very satisfied with his work. I called about a problem with my door bell. Instead of coming out and charging me, he told me how to do the repair, which was very simple to do. Extremely helpful. What a gem of a company.

Description of Work: They assisted my son with looking over the wiring in a room on my son's house where an electrical outlet had melted. They tested the wiring and all of the outlets in the room to make sure it was safe. My son, age 26, has a new baby and he wanted to make sure everything was good.

Description of Work: I had an electrical outlet that had been damaged by a picture falling off the wall and breaking it off. It had an odd set-up and as it turned out the wiring had been done fifteen years prior by a company that did the reverse of code. It was complicated and took a little extra time to discern what was going on, but fixed properly. I also had a dimmer put in on another light fixture.

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer was showing an error code on the panel. I was unable to reset the error, so I pulled out the plug on the dryer. To my surprise, the 200v outlet disintegrated, just fell apart as I pulled the plug. I called Ellison Electric to have someone come to repair the outlet. Bill called back in an hour and told me he could have someone at my house tomorrow morning. He also told me I could save time and money by purchasing the needed parts myself. I did that and Chris showed up promptly the next morning after calling me first to let me know he was on the way. He replaced the outlet and dryer cord and was neat and efficient in doing so.

Description of Work: Non-working lights in bedroom & bathroom. They found a loose connection in a wire nut in the junction box behind the ceiling fan speed control switch, they removed the stop in the connections on the switch next to it and hard wire to the switch.

Description of Work: We discovered an underground wire with the insulation chewed off by chipmunks. The workmen said it was a low voltage wire used by the former owner for outside lighting. He cut it off-pulled it up, and threw it away.

Description of Work: Moved an outlet in kitchen and enlarged outlet in office. We have used them before and was satisfied with them. They were on time, efficient, on estimate, and cleaned up the work area.
